These must be trying times for gospel singer, Ruth Matete who lost her husband last week Saturday, after succumbing to burn injuries.

Darkness engulfed the Kenyan singer’s heart and home, following a gas explosion in their home that saw her husband spend days fighting for his life in the ICU/HDU.

Ruth Matete still held on strong, for the sake of their unborn baby and her husband.

Pastor Beloved John was doing well, even feeding himself, until the cruel hands of death snatched him away from the earth.

None of us can even try and fit in Ruth Matete’s shoes, but it must be immense for her.

All this is bearing in mind that the two had their nuptials only in November 2019 and Ruth, who is in her first trimester, has been left behind with a child to bear and bring up.

Fellow gospel artist, Kambua, had ‘not enough words to comfort’ the grieving singer because none of the events can be explained yet.
