The news anchoring business in Kenyan is always full of beauties who make sure Kenyans stay locked during news.

From Betty Kyalo to Lilian Muli to other common names, Kenyans always droll over these news anchors. When it comes to Swahili anchors, there’s a new face stealing the show.

She goes by the name Gladys Mungai. Mungai, who anchors Swahii news at KBC, was previously at Ebru TV.

Unlike many other Swahili anchors who have stuck to only news, Mungai goes the extra mile and also hosts events. She’s also a motivational speaker.

“When you are young or new to the practice, not so many people vouch for your ability to deliver. That should not deter you. The harder you persist, the smarter you become, and the better your performance.
Everybody starts somewhere,” she says.
