RIP! Look at how Veteran Kikuyu singer John De Matthew’s car was wrecked in the grisly accident(photos)

Kikuyu musician John Ng’ang’a better known by his stage name John De Mathew has died after his car was involved in a road accident. DeMathew perished in the road crash at Blue Post Sunday evening.

According to police, Demathew’s car rammed into a lorry. He was alone in the car.

Harambee

Gatanga MP Ngugi Nduati said that DeMathew was coming from a harambee that was held at Metro Bar in Thika in support of fellow musician Peter Kigia. He was pronounced dead on arrival at Thika Nursing Home.

The driver of the lorry said that he was on his way to Sagana from Athi river when a speeding vehicle hit him in the back.

“When I got here at Blue Post, a car belonging to De Mathew hit me at the back. He was removed from the car by good samaritans who rushed him to hospital as I waited for the traffic police to show up,” the driver told journalists at the scene.

His car, a Nissan Nivara was wrecked in the accident. Here are the photos:
