Rose Muhando Reveals Why She’s Charging Ksh 50,000 For Album Launch

Tanzanian Gospel artist, Rose Muhando has finally revealed the reason why she’s charging Ksh 50,000 per person for the launching of her new album. She is set to perform on 27th of this month at Villa Rosa Kempinski Hotel along Waiyaki Way, from 12 pm to 6 pm.

Speaking in an Interview on Radio Maisha, the 45 year old reveals that the charges are for VVIP. She says that after COVID restrictions, she will plan a regular event at a very affordable price for everyone. She also claims that most people have already paid the Ksh 50,000 for the event.

In the same interview, rose revealed that she can never get married to a Kenyan man. The single mum says that traditions in Tanzania are way more different than the ones in Kenya. She adds that Tanzanians are slow in getting ready for marriage, while Kenyans hurry up things.

”Nyinyi mko faster sana. Sisi tuko pole pole sana.”

When asked if she saw any potential suitor in Kenya, Muhando answers that she did not come to the country to look for potentials, rather just to do gospel music.

”Apana kwa sababu lengo la kuwepo sio kuona mtu. Lengo la kuwepo ni kumleta mwana wa mtu, yaani Yesu Kristu mwenyewe. Hicho ndicho kinachoniletanga uku.”

Rose Muhando is a mother of three and she said she got them with different fathers while she was living in the street. Rose says the baby daddies left her when she was either pregnant or the child was young. She doesn’t seem to have a plan on getting married.

In 2009, the Gospel artist won the best Tanzanian Gospel singer award. Later on, she released a couple of gospel hit songs. Her various songs include, Utamu Wa Yesu, Kiatu Kivue, Facebook, Jipange Sawasawa, Yesu Kung’uta, Jitenge na Ruthu and many more.

Rose is among the most successful gospel artists in the region. We can’t wait for more songs from her.
