Singer L Jay Maasai confirms breakup with lover, Ashley [Interview]

Gospel singer, L Jay Maasai recently confirmed that he indeed broke up with his girlfriend, Ashley in unclear circumstances.

This he confirmed during an interview on Radio Citizen while speaking to Mzazi Willy M Tuva and his co-host, Selly Kadot.

Maasai revealed he part ways with his lover, couple of months ago after she dumped him over a misunderstanding.

According to L Jay, his girl found him in studio with ladies, something that irritated her and his explanations of ´work´ proved futile.

We parted ways with my lover and it ended a long time ago. There was a misunderstanding. She found me in studio with ladies. She did not want to understand we were just working.

He affirms the split roughly 10 months since Ashley broke the news of their breakup, online.

Early in February 2019, Ashley revealed they are no longer an item, further deleting his photos from her Instagram pages.

Not so long ago did the ´Ma Miracle´ singer propose to his beloved seeking her hand in marriage.

The duo even went ahead to hint on a traditional wedding ceremony after they both donned matching African attire that raised speculations.

A couple that no one foresaw a breakup emanating from and one that was an inspiration to many young Christian lovers.
