Kenyan singer, Laika went under soon after she confessed to battling depression following her pregnancy and decided to put a break in her music career.
Well, she has since gone silent, leaving fans worried about her well-being and her career that took months and resources to build.
Good news is that the supreme vocal queen is set to launch her music comeback with her first ever EP scheduled for release soon.
The songstress confessed that with more time in her hands, the ongoing pandemic saw her get creative and put together her music pieces as fans prep for her upcoming EP launch.
Lockdown has been a turning point for me, I am now working on releasing my first ever EP.

Pregnancy & Depression
Speaking of post-partum, the young sassy singer confessed that pregnancy was not easy for her, sending her into depression and forcing her to take a break.
I got depressed after giving birth and I felt like I was under a lot of pressure. I most definitely needed a break. It gave me time to make new friends. I even met the man of my dreams there and the rest, as they say, is history.
Fortunately, the break bore good fruits, seeing her successfully give birth, nurture her child and in the process, meet her better half with whom they celebrate at least 8 months since tying the knot.
The duo has been serving couple goals online, with Laika´s daughter now all grown-up.
