Anyway, Adelle has now officially launched her new studio where she’ll be hosting her podcasts.

Taking to social media, the presenter gave fans a look at her studio which is very simple.

“I started building ⁣⁣my office/studio ⁣⁣in February while slowly going⁣⁣ through my last days ⁣⁣on traditional radio – and my ⁣birthday month!⁣
I wanted a happy safe space⁣⁣ where I could tell the stories⁣⁣ I wanted to and have the ⁣⁣convos I wanted to, the way ⁣⁣I wanted to. But I also wanted ⁣⁣to build this space for myself!⁣” says Adelle.

Help

She added that her hubby supported her build the new space and she’s now ready to be hosting her two podcasts full time.

“⁣⁣My bestie/husband kept ⁣ cheering me on because ⁣⁣ he knew I wanted this to be⁣⁣ a gift to myself!⁣⁣ This pic was taken the day we⁣⁣ realized I’d actually finished it!⁣⁣ This space has already given birth to two podcasts⁣ Legally Clueless ⁣PursePective – on the 25th of June! ⁣ But more than that it’s a ⁣⁣reminder that I had the guts to ⁣⁣CHOOSE ME! And that really gives me such joy!”

Adelle quits Kiss FM after 7 years

Kiss 100 FM Breakfast Show presenter Adelle Onyango has resigned. It has been seven years now since the popular presenter joined the Radio Africa Group owned radio station and fell under the then Breakfast Show presenter Caroline Mutoko’s apprenticeship.

“After 7 years on Kiss, I need a new challenge,” she said on social media Saturday after her last show on Friday.

“It’s been a decision that I did not come to lightly. Change is the only constant thing in life, and it is through endings that we begin anew.⁣”

Next stop

It’s not yet clear where Onyango is headed yet but she’s expected to drop a few hints in her podcast “Legally Clueless” which airs later today, the episode being the first since stepping away.

Onyango’s impressive run comes to an end just days after Capital FM’s Cess Mutungi’s 10-year stretch kaput following Joey Muthengi’s comeback on the radio station.

I still ask my late mum for guidance- Adelle Onyango

Radio host Adelle was deeply hurt after losing her mother to cancer. Though it happened years ago, Adelle still reveals how the death affected her life.  She recently shared that she still talks to her everyday and asks her for guidance when going into something new or that might be a little challenging.

“I speak to my late mum everyday. I think about her even more than that. I ask her for signs I’m on the right track. I dream about her sometimes…not as often I’d like but it beats nothing,” she said.

Anxiety

The death gave Adelle a new look into life and she confessed that she usually gets anxiety just by thinking that one day she’s going to lose another person she loves.

“Nothing can prepare you for the powerlessness that comes with losing someone to the permanence that’s death. The post trauma…I still get mild anxiety thinking one day I’ll lose the people I love and go through this all over again. If someone close to you has lost someone dear to them, please don’t tell them it’ll be OK. It won’t be OK. It will be different. And different can be quite uncomfortable.”

Adelle Onyango: If you have a sponsor say so, don’t lie to us you work hard

Lately, Kenyan ladies have been ditching their boyfriends for richer older men. The sponsor’s conversations have been dominating headlines for a long time now as younger ladies confess to dating them for money.

Adelle Onyango, who is married to an Indian Safari Rally race coach, Falgun Bhojak, has asked ladies who are dating such men to stop misleading their counterparts.

Stop with the lies

Ladies have been lying a lot on social media implicating that they are working hard but in real sense, are benefiting from their rich lovers. They go ahead to post fake photos, according to Adelle, claiming that they are reaping big after harvesting from their farms.

“These women! They are giving all Kenyan women such a bad name! But here’s the thing, if you have a sponsor, you should own it,” said the kiss 100 presenter.

“Be proud of it.  Don’t get a Range Rover out of the blue, and then lie to us that it’s from your farm. We can equally find those farming images you downloaded off of Google.”

Adelle’s lipstick gets recognized internationally

Radio presenter Adelle Onyango has made a mark in the international market after her lip stick, which she started to honour her late mum, got a rare big up from South Sudanese beauty queen, Atong Dong.

“Atong tried the Anyango Lipstick and loved how well it felt, the moisturising element, the sheen and how well it worked with her skin tone. She is a gorgeous lady with a lot of exposure to different beauty products as an international model. The Anyango lipstick works so well with different skin tones, it’s quite magical,” she said.

Adding:

“That it was my project for her. That would be paramount. It’s also a shade of a nail polish she always rocked, so I’m sure she’d love it.”

Women’s Day vibes! Adelle: I wanted to be recognized as one of the best

As women across the globe celebrate Women’s Day, Radio presenter Adelle Onyango is glad she was named among the 100 influential women in Africa by OkayAfrica.

The fete comes less than six months after she was also named alongside Capital FM’s Anita Nderu among the most influential in Africa by BBC. Adelle recently opened up saying that it’s a thing she aimed for and worked hard towards.

“Well, a year ago I told my team that one goal was to be recognised as one of the top media personalities in Africa, and we did!” she said.

“So it’s putting my mind to something and ending up achieving it! But it’s a lot of work! The constant work to see your dream projects take off. Sometimes sleep becomes a luxury, which is unhealthy, but what do you do? Nothing worth having or worth achieving comes easy! There are always challenges that aren’t there to make you give up but just sharpen your craft.”

She hopes that her recognition will help her change the world and empower women.

“Just as with the BBC100 women’s recognition, I want to have conversations on giving youth opportunities, cyberbullying and rape, globally. OkayAfrica happens annually, where they list down people to recognise the efforts of women who are inspiring change in their fields. Last year, the likes of Yvonne Orji from the hit TV show Insecure was on the list! It’s a huge accolade!” Adelle said.

Kiss FM’s Adelle confirms she is off the market, check out her Diamond ring

Adelle Onyango is the latest celebrity to confirm that she is finally off the market now that she is planning to get married to her secret boyfriend.

She made the announcement during an interview with the Star, where she said:

“Love should be celebrated just as loudly as we “celebrate” hate. Also we’ve enjoyed it with our family and friends for a long while so it’s OK for everyone else to know now. It wasn’t a secret, I never hid my ring. I just didn’t make it seem like all there was to me – and I genuinely wanted to enjoy it in the confines of my family.”

This comes after she posted a photo of her and her man which she captioned using lyrics from popular song wild thoughts saying;

Diamonds ain’t nothin when I’m rockin with you

However looking at the photo seems that she broke up with her Caucasian and will be getting married to an African man (judging from the black and white photo).
