Kenyan songbird, Avril speaks about motherhood but bashes society for thinking less of children raised by single parents.

Having had her pregnancy cushioned under her arms, so did she have her delivery and the two gentlemen in her life.

 

The top female singer however insists on keeping her 1-year old baby´s face and baby daddy, away from the public.

Further speaking in reference to children raised by single parents she bashes:

Whereas it is important for a child to be raised in a family setting with both parents present,

the backward thinking that a school´s administration would have to think less of a child who does not have both parents present in his/her life should be revised.

We have great people out here who were raised by single parents.

It has been one year since the beauty graced the delivery room without giving ogling Kenyans a glimpse of the boys in her life.

The 33 year old however opens up about her choice to live a private personal life, away from the limelight.

During an interview, the singer-songwriter shares:

I was not raised in the limelight and I would prefer my baby not be in the limelight.

I am raising a human being and as much as my life is public, his is not.

Additionally, I didn´t have a child to generate revenue.

However, with motherhood, comes new experiences and battles one needs to conquer revealing:

I learn new things every day and motherhood is a new chapter that continues to reveal me to me.

I am enjoying this journey of raising a little one.

Avril additionally discloses the secret to her keeping fit after pregnancy citing:

Breastfeeding is the plug.

I didn´t do any crazy regimes after giving birth.

I also just try to keep my diet as healthy as possible.

Speaking to Nairobi Wire concerning having a married life, the female songstress shares:
