MCA Tricky: Ayeiya gave an impression of being ‘bad boy’ but he was a spiritual man who inspired me to get saved

Churchill Show comedian MCA Tricky has opened about late comedian Emmanuel Makori Nyambane, alias AKA or Ayeiya Poa Poa.

Ayeiya died on April 14th 2017 after he was involved in a grisly road accident at the junction of Catholic University of Eastern Africa on Magadi Road.

MCA Tricky talked about his relationship the late Ayeiya during an interview with SDE. Tricky  narrated how the late comedian was instrumental in his success as a comedian.

“When I first landed at Churchill Show, he was the first person to invite me to perform at a function as he believed in my abilities. Anytime he landed a side hustle, say emceeing in a wedding, he would invite me to accompany him. That really strengthened our bond. And fellow comedians knew it,” said MCA Tricky.

Tricky further reveals that Ayeiya was a very God fearing man even though he gave out the impression he was bad boy. Tricky says the late comedian inspired him to get saved.

“On the outside, he gave an impression of being a ‘bad boy’ but in reality, he was one spiritual man. He loved to end his shows calling on the audience to get saved, something that he also used to tell me. Whenever he got personal with a fellow comedian, he would start preaching to them.”

Churchill does the most honorable thing to Ayeiya’s family as fellow comedians rekindle the deceased’s memories in the most dramatic way

The events of last night literally brought back Ayeiya to life again, humorists rekindled memories of the deceased while cracking jokes.

Kenyans converged at the Carnivore Grounds for a special show dubbed Ayeiya Tribute Show. Former and current Churchill Show comedians were present to pay tribute to a fallen colleague in the best way they know – cracking jokes.

Chipukeezy imitated Ayeiya; he walked to the stage wearing the deceased’s lookalike flat cap and also carried a briefcase bearing the name “AKA”.

He cracked jokes the exact way Ayeiya would do when he was on stage at Churchill Show. Chipukeezy simply rekindled AKA’s memories in the most dramatic way.

Sleepy also made the audience laugh hard when he described how the departed comedian was in heaven with the angels.

All in all Churchill (Daniel Ndambuki) did the most honorable thing, he gave proceeds of the show to Ayeiya’s family.

“Have you got your tickets ready? Show starts at 6pm. All proceeds from this show go to Ayeiya’s family,” Churchill announced on social media before the show began.
