“Harmonize is old enough to make his decisions” Diamond’s dad speaks on singer leaving WCB

News of Harmonize ditching Diamond Platnumz’s record label Wasafi Records have been all over. The singer is leaving the camp to start his own gang called Konde Gang that will be now competing with Diamond Platnumz.

Diamond’s dad Mzee Abdul Juma recently spoke of this saying that Harmonize wants to leave because he feels he can stand alone.

During an interview, baba Dangote revealed that Harmonize had earlier shown signs of ditching Wasafi Records when he started doing solo shows outside the country.

“Harmonize started showing signs of ditching WCB  after he felt like he has a bigger brand and he can do his music without Diamond’s support,” he said.

He went on to add that Harmonize can follow his heart now because he’s a grown man.

“First Naseeb struggled so hard to build a brand for him, he supported his music career,” said Mzee Abdul. “Harmonize is old enough to make his decisions.

Bahati addresses rumors of ditching his very own EMB records for Diamond´s WCB.

The gospel sensation frequently visits Wasafi with fans speculating his plans to get signed into the label.

During an interview with ´Milele breakfast´, he clarifies on his frequent visits at WCB and his close relationship with Diamond Platnumz.

Speaking to Alex Mwakideu, Bahati maintains that he is strictly a gospel artist.

Adding that he learns a lot to do with music and record label management from the top East African record label.

Further disclosing he has a business relationship with the Wasafi family; with the ideas he gains, pretty evident in the changes he has made in his music, over time.

The father of 3 adds that he listens a lot to artists who preceeded him, and Diamond is among them.

Bahati has been making frequent trips to the bongo land, having worked with Wasafi artistes including Rayvanny, Mbosso and Aslay.

Furthermore, he is among the few Kenyan artistes who graced the 707 Great Gatsby, in July.
