Bahati Finally Responds To Claims Of Stealing Song From Rwandese Musician

As anticipated by most netizens, Bahati has finally given his side of the story. His latest hit song dubbed ‘Pete Yangu’ is still progressing quite well. But will this trend continue now that people have found out he allegedly stole the song?

Bahati’s Response

Well, according to Bahati, this is just one of the subtle means people use to bring one down. Bahati denied the claims and seemed to prevaricate (from the words he has written on his Instagram). The allegations are however, yet to be confirmed.

But from the comparison of both videos, you’ll notice a huge similarity.

Bahati has however refused to be brought down by such allegations. He wrote on his Instagram saying;

Bahati Accused Of Stealing Latest Hit Song From Rwandese Musician (Video)

Bahati’s latest track featuring Nadia Mukami broke the Kenyan record by gathering over 100K views on YouTube in just an hour. Turns out, Bahati allegedly stole the song from a Rwandan. The allegations have been backed up by a video; which is quite similar to Bahati’s ‘Pete Yangu’ in terms of the flow.

Bahati had heavily invested in promoting his album and ‘Pete Yangu’ was one of the songs in the album. He even went a step further to advertise the album in New York City.

Turns out, the hyped song was stolen. The song currently has over 600K views on YouTube and still counting. We don’t know if it’ll be pulled out of the platform just yet.

On the other hand, Bahati is yet to respond to the accusations. Instead, he has promised to release another song from the album once ‘Pete Yangu’ hits a million views in three days.

Ringtone to Bahati: “I’m proud to see you serve the devil so openly”

Ringtone is mad with the fact that Kenyans continue to show support for Bahati despite knowing that he is no longer a ‘gospel artist.’

The controversial singer has talked about this in a new video where he congratulated Bahati for finally portraying his true colors; after years of pretending to be a servant of God.

According to Ringtone, Bahati has always been a sinner but was hiding the gospel industry; probably because business is always booming!

On the same clip, Ringtone adds that the current behavior portrayed Bahati is the real him. But now that he is tied of pretending, the best thing he can do is serve the ‘devil’; who he also says is Bahati’s father.

Speaking through the video, Ringtone is heard saying;

Christians stop supporting Bahati

As if this wasn’t enough, Ringtone goes on to urge Christians to stop supporting Bahati who already chose a stand with the devil.

According to him, it’s time Kenyans started supporting real gospel musicians (like himself) instead of paying attention to a servant of the devil. He said;

But looking at the comment section, most fans feel that these two are actually alike; it’s like looking at a mirror – that is behavior wise.

Khaligraph Jones is said to be the most popular African rapper from our generation; and judging from his projects – we indeed give credit where it’s due.

With a successful music career comes money and pride – which clearly seem to have overpowered Mr Omollo.

For those who know Khaligraph will tell you that the guy is not only good at dropping bars; but is full of pride – and this keeps his fans entertained.

Just a few hours ago, the guy – once again let his cocky behavior get the best of him while responding to Bahati’s diss track. Being one who doesn’t clout chase – Baba Amali (Khali) was quick to distance himself from Bahati who is known for pulling stunts – in the name of creating hype.

However having been dissed pushed Khali to the wall hence decided to respond to his ‘boy’ for poking him in his latest song. Through his IG, the rapper wrote;

Gospel artist Bahati has found himself at loggerheads with a section of Kenyans after a video of him smoking circulated the internet. The ‘Wanani’ hitmaker has been off social media for a while. On his return, he announced the release of his album; which he introduced with a video of himself smoking ‘sigara kubwa’

The gospel singer has been criticized for his behaviour, with some claiming he should follow the gospel side of things. And smoking shouldn’t be one of them. The video had mixed reactions from his fans; with some claiming he has joined Willy Paul.

His wife Diana Marua reacted;

Bahati reveals why he struggles with Self-esteem issues

Singer Bahati has always been trolled and picked on by former gospel singer Willy Paul; and I’m guessing this is because Pozee could smell Baha’s low self esteem from miles away.

Actually, not just Pozee but even ruthless fans looking to feed their egos by giving the young singer a hard time. However over the years, Bahati has managed to fix this self esteem issue slowly by slowly; and if you ask me – his humility may also be the reason why he triumphed – making him one of the richest local artists we have in the country.

So far he has a lovely stable family, home and a couple of businesses bringing him good money; his wife on the other hand is beauty that compliments him wherever he goes.

After heavily investing in his music promo, musician Kevin Bahati’s anticipated song Dubbed ‘Dear Ex’ is finally out. Those who contributed in the promo include KFCB CEO Ezekiel Mutua, Embakasi East MP Babu Owino, Jalang’o, Alex Mwakideu, Henry Desagu and Samidoh.

The song has a few video vixens, including Flirty Carlos, who has appeared in most music videos as a dancer. Bahati explains that he did not use light-skinned women because none of his exes were light skin; to remain relevant to the song. He claims most women complained that in most of his videos, he never used ‘black beauty’, but this time he has.

Bahati and Willy Paul could have made the best of friends – but sadly they both chose become frenemies on social media. However think about it – this two being friends would brought out the best in the gospel industry; and right now we wouldn’t be struggling to google a good Kenyan gospel song on the internet.

Just like many predicted after years of playing nice – they both quit making gospel songs; and are currently l love song artists (come on) – which we can easily categorize as secular music.

With both of them trying to secure a new fan base, looks like they are about to spark new beef that will come in handy – in the near future.

Controversial singer Bahati has come forth to address the president for extending curfew or rather ‘lockdown’ that has left many affected business wise.

With the curfew still in place means that there are no night clubs operating past 10pm – hence making business hard for people like DJs, waiters, Club owners and of course artists.

So far apart from the Nairobi fest concert that cost a 17 year old boy’s life; we have not had many concerts held in the country. With this, the likes of Bahati feel affected in ways that they can only understand. Speaking for artists, Bahati recently went on to call out the president for not considering those beneath him.

As seen on the post, the now love song artist went on to remind the president that most artists in the country are husbands/wives and dads/mums who have families looking up to them.

With Kenya still on lockdown, it makes it hard for most of them to even provide for their families; as they depend on their careers to provide for their loved ones. However this has been impossible for some reason; since no one wants to risk being manhandled by the police who have allegedly been harassing Kenyans in the name of ‘Covid-19.’ He wrote;

Diana Marua and husband Bahati may not be the most loved couple on social media at the moment. This is becasue they not only fooled fans with their fake break up posts; but left some celebrities’ like Maureen Waititu looking like busy bodies as she stepped in to help a sister going through a break up.

Call it a lesson learnt for those who like weighing in on other peoples businesses; but was it really necessary to play around like that? Well, their new song did quite well on the first week; but it appears fans were not as impressed as the Bahati’s thought.

Anyway at least for now we know that the two will not be breaking up anytime soon. To prove this, Diana Marua this past weekend went on to share a detailed post praising her husband with a special message.

Through her Instagram page Diana Marua went on to pour out her heart to hubby saying;

Thank you God for this Man that you brought in my Life ???? Before I met you, my life was… Well, okay, ish ish. I was living life as it came. Party after Party was my lifestyle, bragging about how “we” turnt up, how “we” got wasted, planning for the next turn up while still on one… That was the life. No growth, no good memories to share.

She went on to talk about him changing her life in the most positive way saying;

After I met you, my life changed… For the Best. You made me see there’s a purpose to life, we are here for a reason, we live to leave a mark in the world. I don’t know where to begin, you have taught me a lot about being Strong, about perseverance, about giving and above all, living in God’s purpose.Allow me to express myself to you in my next couple of posts. For now, just know that there’s no me without you, I envision all the days of my life spent with you. My life has transformed, the staircase keeps going up and it’s all because of your Unconditional love, respect and the God you keep preaching to me.

Well, if you thought Diana Marua was in a relationship with Bahati for the material things; then the last bit of the message dedicated to Bahati might just change your thinking. She wrote;

Bahati finally treating baby mama, Yvette Obura right after years of sidelining her

Bahati was clearly not ready for a child when ex girlfriend Yvette Obura got pregnant about 5 years ago. In fact, the singer managed to keep her on the low for 2 years not forgetting his daughter too; but thanks to Diana Marua, Bahati was able to come out clean.

However before then, Miss Obura says Bahati had not only neglected his daughter but was asking for a paternity test. Like really? But oh well, with a ‘good boy’ image to maintain Bahati at that time was ready to lie his way out of a baby mama scandal.

Anyway, as revealed by Yvette – life after the birth of Mueni changed. They both slept on the cold floor, went hungry for days and Bahati did not really care much – that is according to baby mama’s revelation.

However over the years, Bahati has not only matured mentally but now he knows how to handle the mother of his first child. In his latest post, the singer goes on to reveal that he is planning on flying out both his daughter and baby mama to go celebrate Mueni’s birthday on holiday. He wrote;

All is not well with The Bahati’s but at the same time fans feel that they are clout chasing for some reason. We however cannot blame fans for feeling this way especially after seeing how scripted The Bahati reality was.

Well, could be that they have been having a misunderstanding; but convincing fans has turned out to be quite hard. Weezdom who is somehow involved in this drama was forced to keep his mouth shut; after fans told him for trying to weigh in on the breakup.

The likes of Mr Seed, Hope kid and a few on social media could not contain their joy after learning that Diana Marua had walked out on her baby. Well, we all saw what Seed and Hope kid wrote – meaning that the rumor could have some truth to it.

Back to flying solo?

Part of the break up is both Diana Marua and Bahati adjusting their names. So far Mama Heaven has changed her name from Diana Bahati to Miss Dee while the guy now refers to himself as mtoto wa Mama from mtoto wa Diana.

But this is part of life hence the hilarious reactions from fans asking Bahati to cry out his heart if indeed Marua dumped him. Others went on to mock him for changing the same as other called this a petty move from the soft singer. They wrote;

For majority of celebrities, their family life is hardly let public especially who they spent most of their childhood with.

However, a couple of them have freely flaunted close family to the public but majority would prefer to keep their privacy.

Nadia Mukami

The African pop star known for her stunning looks, has introduced her gorgeous baby sister, Liz Valentine, to fans and who apparently was born on Valentine’s day and sings as well. Her striking resemblance to the music star and charming beauty left fans glued to their screens.

Flaqo

The multi-talented online comedian also known as Flaqo Raz, popular for his character ‘Mama Otis’ finally agreed to introduce his look-alike brother, Henry Newton, after much persistence from fans. Henry however prefers to keep his life private.

Bahati

The Gospel artiste is famous for his Bahati brothers, Kioko & Eric, who are older, taller and sturdier than him. They keep a relatively low profile with Diana recently introducing them as single men.

Saumu Mbuvi

The Nairobi Governor’s daughter, mother of two and businesswoman flaunted the breathtaking genes that run in their family, posing with her younger sister, Sandra, in an all-white affair over the weekend. “My sisters are the best given angels on earth ….” she admitted.

As Diana Marua and Bahati’s marriage seemingly sinks, he continues to celebrate the first woman he loved and sired a child with, Yvette Obura on her special day.

2015, the gospel artiste and his then lover, Yvette bore a child, Mueni Bahati, memories brought back as the baby girl beautifully marked her 5th birthday.

Amid breakup speculations with his wife, Diana Marua, Bahati chose to mark his first daughter’s milestone like she was the only person who meant so much to him at that moment.

Sharing stunning photos of the fast-growing, beautiful baby girl in an open letter penning;

“Watching You Grow Up has been Many things; Joyful, Impactful and even at Times Stressful.”

Word making rounds on social media is that Bahati and his wife are currently fighting. Not the physical fight but the two might be falling apart after seeing Diana’s latest move that has left her deleting and unfollowing hubby.

Less than a year after the lady started calling Diana Bahati; the mother of two has once again edited her name to Miss Dee. If that doesn’t confirm the rumor’s then the photo shared on Edgar Obare’s page might just do that.

Apparently rumor has it that Bahati might be involved with Mylee Staicey’s friend identified as Nimmoh Sally. As usual lady friend’s will always introduce their single friends to potential boyfriends; and just like that Stacey may have decided to help out her friend.

Diana Marua and Bahati are an interesting couple who first met in the DM when Diana was still dating several men.

With regrets about her affairs with married men who boldly told her, “I can’t leave my wife for you but I can cater for your needs”.

A life that was unfulfilling, until the day she met Bahati.

How it all started

“One day, at around midnight I liked Bahati’s photos on his Instagram, then he liked mine as well. So that was like a signal that he noticed me,” she opened up on Mseto East Africa.

A month later, Bahati called Diana to be a vixen in his upcoming video and they met up at Laico Regency and for the first time, he treated a girl to dinner.

“It is hard for me to even buy a lady a soda, I’d rather take my money to a children’s home but that day, I asked Diana to order anything she wants,” Bahati confessed.

Turns out that all this while, Bahati had fallen in love with Diana but was not able to tell her yet.

So the day they were shooting his music video Mapenzi, vixens tried to win Bahati’s heart but he had already found a woman.

“During breaks, Bahati would take my hand and pull me aside, asking questions like where I live, but it made me feel uneasy,” Diana confessed.

Revealing that not just Bahati, but a number of men on set were also eyeing her including one ‘Mr S’, pointing fingers at Mr Seed.

Unfortunately, that very morning before the shoot, Diana was from crying after catching her then-boyfriend pants down with another girl in his car, right outside his house.

Either way, her relationship ended for the better, flaunting her current lifestyle with Bahati.

“2 months after the video shoot, Bahati opened up on his feelings for me,” Diana admits.
