Update on comedian Othuol´s health status a day after being hospitalized (Photos)

Churchill show comedian Ben Maurice Onyango better known as Othuol Othuol left Kenyans in shock after claims his health was deteriorating but was not getting urgently needed attention at Kenyatta National Hospital.

The funny man was admitted at the city hospital after fainting in his home in Kitengela over unclear circumstances.

Only to be kept waiting on the long queues before he could get attended to. He was later admitted and fellow local comedians paid him a visit, as a sign of solidarity for a colleague.

Health update

Well, there is some good news to the spirited campaigns by Kenyans, creatives and fans who advocated for the urgent treatment and care of the comedian, in a bid to save his life.

A statement issued by Churchill Show Communications Director, Ken Waudo, indicates Mr Othuol has been responding well to treatment since his admission.

Our fellow member, Ben Maurice Onyango known as comedian Othuol Othuol is recuperating at the Kenyatta National Hospital where he was admitted on Wednesday morning at around 10 am.

Further stating that after much thought about how to best see the stand-up comedian fully get back on his feet, they settled for Kenyatta National Hospital.

To this effect, Othuol is scheduled to undergo an MRI scan on June 30, to establish facts surrounding his condition.

So far, we thank the hospital management for hearing our call when there was a delay in admitting him. He is under care and watch of KNH medical teams and constantly treated to any arising needs for such, while awaiting results from diagnosis.
