Kwani ni uhai? Betty Kyalo tired of Kenyans asking her to get married

Former KTN news anchor Betty Kyalo divorced with fellow news anchor Dennis Okari almost three years ago after being married less than an year.

Since then, the popular news anchor has never really gotten another man who she can call “hers” and Kenyans are beginning to get impatient.

30 years

Kenyans have been pestering her with questions on when she’s getting married now that she’s 30 years old and Kyalo is tired.

“Please use this opportunity to enjoy your marriage please when you are still young,” a fan asked her pissing her off. 

Betty could not help but wonder why everyone was so keen on marriage like it was the only thing life was about.

“Surely is marriage the ultimate life goal?” she retorted.

Mercy Kyalo to work with Coke Studio in new season

Betty Kyalo’s sister, Mercy Kyalo, has landed a new deal with Coke Studio Africa 2019.

Mercy’s company Yallo Leather will provide branded Coke Studio merchandise for the 2019 edition making it the second Kenyan company picked for the gig after Pace Africa.

Pace Africa will be the official sponsors of the headphones.

On social media, Mercy was more than happy to break the news saying that her leather company has made a huge move by landing the deal.

“Its not every day that a leather company partners with a cool and vibrant brand like this one, but we share ideals that propel our individual visions and missions. I love that we both believe in creating, showcasing and celebrating homegrown art and craft. Yallo just like Coke Studio is determined to provide inspired works of art fueled by our diverse cultures.”she said. 

Betty Kyalo finally announce she’s leaving KTN

KTN news anchor Betty Kyalo has finally announced that today is her last day anchoring at the station.

Using her Instagram account, Betty told her followers:

“ALRIGHT, SO I HAVE FINISHED MY WORK HERE AT NEWS CENTER. AND I WILL SEE YOU(TALKING TO HER FOLLOWERS). AND I WILL MISS YOU. IT HAS BEEN 3 YEARS AT THE NEWS CENTER. I HAD A GOOD SHOW. I WILL SEE YOU LATER. MWAA!,” she posted.

New home

Word had it that the news anchor has relocated to K24 where she’ll be the lead anchor but she’s yet to confirm. She’s also expected to announce on Friday Briefing that it’s her last show. Today on Instagram, she said:

“The future be so bright. Tonight, I say goodbye?”. 

 

Why Betty Kyalo was in hospital recently for surgery

KTN news anchor Betty Kyalo was on Thursday in hospital for surgery.  On social media, the KTN employee shared that she had to got to Nairobi Hospital where she underwent the surgery to remove her tonsils.

Hospital visits

It’s the second time in a month the news anchor is walking in hospital corridors after being bedridden recently with fatigue.

“Happy to be home after a successful surgery to remove my tonsils. Finally did it after being scared to do so after many years yet I kept suffering with tonsillitis inflammation almost every month.  And as much as the recovery process is tough i’m looking forward to better days,” she said.

“Thanks to God for a successful procedure. Big thanks to my fantastic doctor, all my friends and family who were right by my side.”

KTN news anchor Betty Kyalo is one cute single mother. And her cuteness brings a lot of drama that in most cases pisses her off.

The news anchor was recently forced to angrily shoo off a fan after posting an offensive comment on her Instagram page.

While shooting a live video on Instagram, a fan identified as Sukhdeep, annoyed the news anchor after posting, “Show me your boobs.”

Kyalo fired back saying:

“I will not show you boobs that is very wrong. Get out of my page, Sukhdeep1257. As you can see the weirdos have now checked in. Why? Why would I show you boobs? I am not…anyway whatever its fine”
