It is said that Pastor Margaret Wanjiru was miraculously cured via prayer

Bishop Margaret Wanjiru has sparked mixed reactions with claims that prayers enabled her to regain the use of her legs.

The Bishop reportedly sustained injuries a few weeks ago following a physical altercation with individuals she alleged were sent to take control of parts of her Church. She sought treatment at a local hospital and later shared photos of herself in a wheelchair.

In an undated video from her Church, Wanjiru called upon a young man named Oscar to join her at the podium. Referring to his previous prayer for his mother’s healing, she urged him to repeat the miracle for her.

“You prayed for your mother and she was healed? I’m also like your mother,” she told him as he knelt before her.

Wanjiru instructed him to raise his hands and pray for her legs to be healed, disregarding any concerns. She likened her legs to his mother’s and urged him to pray fervently.

In the video, Wanjiru and another individual began speaking in tongues while staff members surrounded them, assisting in holding a shawl over her legs. Oscar prayed earnestly, touching her feet as directed. After a few moments, he stood up and signaled for her to stand.

With assistance, Wanjiru stood up fully, declaring in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. She walked without her crutches, raising her hands in praise, much to the delight of her congregation.

Oscar, filled with excitement, ran around the stage after witnessing the apparent healing.

On her Facebook page, Wanjiru praised Oscar’s faith and the role of the youth in God’s work.

Comments under the video expressed admiration for Wanjiru’s humility, faith, and the impact of her ministry. Some questioned the authenticity of the healing, while others celebrated her blessings and influence.

Bishop Margaret Wanjiru Warns Ruto, Gachagua Against Fighting Her

Bishop Margaret Wanjiru expressed anger and disappointment towards the Kenya Kwanza government in a video posted on Thursday, March 7th, 2024.

She accused President William Ruto and Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua of failing to protect her despite her strong support during the 2022 elections. The Bishop claimed police officers roughed her up inappropriately during the demolition of her church on Haile Selassie Avenue.

Wanjiru, visibly upset, declared that the government had initiated a conflict “they cannot win.” She warned those involved that they would face divine retribution.

“Let me be clear, President and Deputy President,” Wanjiru stated. “From this day on, this Margaret Wanjiru, who was assaulted, whose clothes were lifted by young policemen…they touched my thighs, a woman of God. Believe me, you will regret this. You went after Benny Hinn in America, but you will look for me. I’m not leaving, I’m not going anywhere.”

The Bishop went on to claim the government was using Kenya Railways as a tool and expressed pity for their families. She concluded by referencing a Bible verse about healing and declared her faith would prevail

Bishop Margaret Wanjiru Accuses Govt Officials Of Demolishing Her Church & Sending Goons

Bishop Margaret Wanjiru, leader of Jesus is Alive Ministries, claims her church was demolished by individuals claiming to represent Kenya Railways, leaving her injured. Wanjiru, a former gubernatorial candidate, accuses unnamed government officials of orchestrating the demolition despite her past support for the current administration.

“Nimepigwa, nimeumia mkono na mguu hata nataka kwenda hospitali, watu wangu pia wamepigwa wote, everyone is bleeding,” a teary-eyed Bishop Wanjiru told journalists.

“Hawa watu wametupiga leo wanasema wametumwa na Railways.”

This incident follows a dismissed court case in 2022 contesting the construction of a wall separating the church property from Kenya Railways land. Bishop Wanjiru, along with other parties, argued the wall obstructed access to several roads.

The demolition has ignited controversy, with Wanjiru alleging she was targeted due to her political affiliation. However, the specific details surrounding the demolition and the involvement of any government officials remain unclear.

Bishop Margaret Wanjiru and son former MP Stephen Kariuki risk losing their property in auction

Auctioneers are hunting down Bishop Wanjiru’s son after court gave them the go-ahead to auction property belonging to the former Mathare MP to recover their money.

Stephen Kariuki failed to compensate the Nairobi Water and Sewerage Company for a damaged car following a road accident four years ago.

The accident which occurred on February 16th 2014 involved a car belonging to the water company and another one that was being driven by the former Mathare MP.

An assessment done by Prudent Loss Assessors on September 15th 2015 faulted Mr Kariuki for the accident and placed a damage of Sh500,000 in favour of the water company.
