Grandma died before saying what she wanted to say to me, because I was in a hurry – Singer Bruz Newton remorseful

Professional dance choreographer, Bruz Newton opens up on his tough childhood soon after losing his loved ones.

Unfortunately, at a tender age, he knew no comfort after the demise of his parents and grandmother.

Up and close on Mzazi Willy M. Tuva’s Mambo Mseto  show, Bruz discloses how he was orphaned at a young age and his grand mother took him in.

However, not so long after, did she pass on too but it is what Bruz never never heard from her that disturbs him to date.

Saturday morning he left, leaving behind his ailing grandmother who never saw the end of day.

It was on Saturday morning, I left my ailing grandmother at home without giving her a chance to talk to me. She  died before saying what she wanted to say to me because I was in a hurry since  was going at my aunt’s place to look after my younger cousin  as she goes to work.

And it is after the demise of his grandmother that he had to move to his aunt’s place, but a year later, her husband passed on.

Sadly, that’s when his life took a different turn.

When I was in form three, my aunt told me she was going to get married again, i left home without knowing where I was going too.

Despite the bucket-full of challenges he went through, he defied the odds and strove harder.
