Catherine Kamau finally reveals why she rarely posts her husband on social

Catherine Kamau has lately been avoiding flooding her social media pages with photos of her husband and son. Well, she confirmed this just recently during an interview on Radio Jambo.

According to Catherine Kamau, social media has become a place of idling for many people. Some of these people are the ones who will tend to leave mean comments under her photos.

Showing off?

During the interview she went on to speak about some of the harsh comments she has come across. Apparently some of her ‘fans’ think she is trying to show off now that she is married; after years of being a single mother. Catherine opened up saying;

“Nikipost picha na my husband they write we are not meant for each other, they just write ugly things, unajua. I don’t understand what the motive is ama ‘you are trying to show off’ and nashangaa because when I post, I post to celebrate someone not to show off. My life has been a journey I was there as a single mum, I am married now. Saa zingine watu hutroll mtoto wako and I get so upset or angry. Some comments hurt me because I am human and sometimes I am like unajua nini they just want attention,”

Although she has come into terms with the fact that there will always be trolls on social media; the popular actress says this will not stop her from being affectionate to her man online… however she has reduced the frequency.

“I won’t stop but I have reduced the frequency, I can take the trolling but my family can’t so I have to protect them.”
