Former Capital FM radio presenter Ciku Muiruri is currently in mourning after her dad passed on about 3 weeks ago.
The journalist made the announcement through her Twitter handle where she poured out her heart to her late dad. According to Ciku,this experience has left her in unimaginable pain that she cannot explain. She wrote saying;
What life can never prepare you for…is to lose a beloved parent. My most honored, most cherished father has rested. I have grappled with the unimaginable pain of losing my anchor, my best friend,the best man I have ever known.
Prayers to all of you grappling with the pain of losing a loved one. Tuko wengi. May God be our comfort. ❤️

Dealing with loss
In a different post Ciku went on to promise that they would see each other in the next life; as she has not stopped loving him since he (dad) left them. Just like any normal daughter dealing with the emotions that come with loss, Ms Muiruri wrote;
“Words are not enough to express the immensity of this loss. But in all things, we praise the name of the Lord. Dad, I will love you forever. The rest of my life will be spent longing to see you again,”

Fans comfort Ciku
In the comment section, a number of fans, friends and family went on to share words of comfort with Ciku as she mourns her dad.
Most did not promise to know her pain especially since she was too close with her father, but they chose to stand with her in prayers. Anyway, we as the Ghafla team send out our heart felt condolences to Ciku and her family!
