Savage! Itumbi totally destroys Miguna Miguna and Kenyans are loving every minute of it

Thought Miguna Miguna was immune to online onslaught? Well, Dennis Itumbi’s jibe made him to ‘catch feelings’ for days.

The beef between Miguna Miguna and Dennis Itumbi started on Monday on the night of presidential running mates debate.

Miguna, who was a commentator in the debate, told Itumbi to stop overstepping his mandate when he issued a press statement on behalf of state house explaining why DP Ruto couldn’t make it to the debate.

Miguna said Itumbi’s mandate was limited to tweeting and Facebooking but not issuing press statements on behalf of the government.

Itumbi caught a major one and he decided to fire back tactfully; he posted a map of Miguna’s campaign trail which showed the Nairobi gubernatorial aspirant was only campaigning at TV stations.

Itumbi’s tweet opened a door for Kenyans on Twitter to poke fun at Miguna Miguna asking whether he was a serious candidate.

Miguna however responded by posting photos and videos showing how he was campaigning on the ground in various parts of Nairobi.

Mwanaisha Chidzuga and Gidi Gidi give Dennis Itumbi a dressing-down over shocking IEBC voter registration anomaly

IEBC announced that voters could verify their registration details by sending their ID number to 70000. Kenyans tried sending random numbers like 0, 3 etc and they were shocked to find that those numbers had been registered.

There was uproar on social media on Thursday June 29th after netizens discovered shocking anomalies in IEBC voter registration. Kenyans shared screenshots of the results they got after sending random single or two digit numbers to 70000.

IEBC rectified the anomaly as claims of rigging started amounting on social media. Jubilee blogger Dennis Itumbi sent random number to 70000 later after IEBC had rectified the error, his intention was to discredit the anomaly ever existed.

“Checking basic Facts and calling out the liars. Just sent 0 to the IEBC Verification portal. ..the response attached,” Dennis Itumbi posted on IG.

His post drew criticisms from IG users who blasted him for blind loyalty and defending what had been proved to be true. K24 anchor Mwanaisha Chidzuga and Radio Jambo presenter Gidi Gidi also gave Itumbi a dressing-down.

“No Itumbi they just brought it down I myself thought it was a hoax then sent the sms with 0 then 66 then 11 and got the sms with voters names polling station etc I can forward them to u..So kindly we are not just lying or spreading rumours as u claim bt geniune concerns.IEBC and the government should now address the issues raised by kenyans to avoid doubt or politicians using this as ammunition to discredit the whole process..Good PR also includes accepting there was a challenge but plans or processes are underway to sort it out.Dont take. Dont take the trust and faith that Kenyans have for granted one day itaisha so pls can IEBC clean the register as promised retain their credibility and trust of Kenyans that they can deliver fair elections Its nt abt Jubilee or Nasa or independent issues this is abt KENYA and whoever wins the election let it be seen by all Kenyans that he won fairly…” Mwanaisha Chidzuga wrote.

“It doesn’t help to lie Itumbi let IEBC accept the mistakes n correct it. We all love this country and it doesn’t argue well when u or jubilee as one of the players in the elections is always seen as the only side supporting IEBC even when they do something wrong,” wrote Gidi Gidi.

“Just free Walter” For the first time Dennis Itumbi criticizes the government he’s working for

The arrest of Nation Media journalist caused hue and cry as it turns out he could have been framed for the offense he is alleged to have committed.

Daily Nation writer Walter Menya was arrested on Sunday on allegations of soliciting for bribe of Kes 50,000 from a man named Kiprotich Koros in order to write damaging story on newspaper.

Photos of the journalist taken inside CID headquarters which were shared on social media however poked holes on his arrested. CID headquarters is a protected area where photography is restricted.

Critics claim the photos were leaked to Jubilee bloggers in order to incriminate Walter Menya and sway public opinion about his arrest.

Dennis Itumbi has for the first time faulted the government he’s working for; he said the sharing of Menya’s photos from a protected area made his arrest look like it was staged.

“That alone trivializes the arrest and the accusation. The case will be decided on FACTS and EVIDENCE….but if the perception is that it was a scripted narrative that must be pointed out,” wrote Itumbi.

Itumbi further called for the release of Menya after alleged Jubilee blogger tagged him on Twitter claiming to provide evidence that proved Menya was guilty.

“Even President Uhuru lost his bid in 1997 and 2002” Dennis Itumbi’s offers Mohammed Ali a shoulder to lean on after he lost Nyali election

Dennis Itumbi suspended party politics to offer a frank advice to Moha, he penned an open letter to the disenfranchised journalist.

Itumbi, the Director of Digital Director of Communications in the Office of the President, encouraged Moha to keep fighting, he used the example of President Uhuru who lost elections twice to encourage him further.

“Good afternoon, Moha of Jicho Pevu,

“We do not agree on many things, that is obvious. Read that you lost the nomination to Joho’s Cousin – I have no facts on whether you lost fairly or not. But my brother I write to congratulate you for standing up, submitting your name and fighting to win an election. I will not join those laughing at you or mocking you, it takes courage, emotion and lots of investment to campaign and seek votes.

“For that Heko, the political journey for you has just started and losing is not the end, President Uhuru Kenyatta lost his bid for MP in 1997 and for President in 2002. Kalonzo Musyoka lost his MP bid in 1983 or thereabout, he rose to be VP. One of the greatest USA Presidents – Abraham Lincoln lost so many times but he kept going.

“The future of our country does not belong to those unwilling to fight for a chance to transform it, but to brave souls like you who are willing to jump into the mud and begin the journey, the hurdles not withstanding.

“If you are certain you are not going to contest as an independent, I would suggest you concede in a major press Conference, you may not support the person who beat you, but throw weight to your supporters mobilize them to continue with the hope of a transformation…live to fight another day, “For the attempt –Congratulations,” Itumbi wrote.

Dennis Itumbi shares rare photo of Raila Odinga getting high on alcohol… Then KOT reacted ruthlessly

Dennis Itumbi, the Senior Director of Innovation and Diaspora Communication in the Office of the President, sparked a fierce brawl after sharing rare photo of Cord leader Raila Odinga.

Itumbi took to Twitter to post a photo of Raila and Siaya Senator James Orengo quaffing alcohol and captioned it “catching a drink”.

It’s not illegal to drink liquor in Kenya therefore it wasn’t such a big deal for Raila to be seen sipping booze, right? Tell that to Raila’s followers.

Supporters of the Cord leader didn’t take Itumbi’s post lightly, they fired salvos at him with some even using suggestive photos to drive their messages home.

Some of Raila’s followers claimed Itumbi’s boss was such a heavy drinker, they asked him to direct the his message to his boss instead.
