Diamond confirmed he will marry Tanasha on February 14th 2019 during an interview with Wasafi TV. The ‘Jibebe’ hit maker said their wedding ceremony will be a four day affair – from the 14th Thursday to 17th Sunday 2019.

Esma Platnumz has come out to show her support to Tanasha after the myriad of criticisms on social media. Speaking during an interview with Risasi newspaper, Esma said that Diamond is satisfied with Tanasha and that there is nothing she could do about it.

Lavalava signed to Diamond Platnumz’s record label Wasafi sometimes in May 2017. The singer reveals that it’s not easy to work with his boss Diamond.
Diamond is the best boss while at the same time he is also very strict. He likes to treat Wasafi artistes like his younger bothers and that why he bought cars for all of them.

Tanzania’s music regulatory body Basata decided to punish Diamond Platnumz, Rayvanny and Wasafi label for producing a song ‘Mwanza’ that contravenes acceptable morals standards.
Diamond, Rayvanny and Wasafi were jointly been fined Tsh 9 million or Kes 403,197. Basata said they three were each required to pay Tsh 3 million or Kes 134,399.
But it’s not the money that concerns Mwana FA, the rapper met Basata to appeal on behalf of Diamond to reduce the restrictions on ‘Mwanza’.
“Nimeona nije kuongea na Baraza la Sanaa katika namna ambavyo naweza kuomba kama msanii, adhabu aidha ipunguzwe au iondolewe kwa kiwango kinachowezekana ili kufanya wasanii wasiumie,” Mwana FA said while speaking to the press outside Basata’s office.

Tanzania’s music regulatory body Basata has finally fined Diamond Platnumz, Rayvanny and Wasafi label for producing a song ‘Mwanza’ that contravenes acceptable morals standards.
Basata executive secretary Godfrey Mngereza announced the fine after close to three hour meeting with Rayvanny. Diamond was away in Canada.
“Huu wimbo haufai kabisa. Hata kwenye kikao tumemuuliza Rayvanny je, unaweza kuuimba mbele ya wazazi wako akajibu hapana, inaonyesha namna gani hata yeye anaona hauna maadili, na kwa nini tupige marufuku usipigwe halafu turuhusu ifanywe hivyo usiku?” said Mngerea.
9 million fine
Diamond, Rayvanny and Wasafi have jointly been fined Tsh 9 million or Kes 403,197. Basata said they three were each required to pay Tsh 3 million or Kes 134,399.
134k is just pocket change for Diamond Platnumz, the singer charges a whopping $70,000 or Kes 7 million as performance fee.

Tanzanian gossip pages on social media have been reporting that Darleen’s mother has been imprisoned in China after she was arrested for drug trafficking.

Queen Darleen has equally been shocked by the reports on social media. The ‘Kijuso’ hit maker has denied claims her mother is serving a prison term in China.
Speaking during an interview with Over Ze Weekend, Darleen said her mother was in Tanzania and that she was willing to take anyone to meet her to prove she is not in prison in China.
“Mama yangu kafungwa China? Niliposikia nilishangaa sana kwani mama yangu yupo na mtu akitaka anione nimpeleke nyumbani,” said Queen Darleen.
