Through his Instagram stories Diamond Platnumz shared a couple of videos with a certain unknown Caucasian lady before Hamisa came into the picture.
In the clips Hamisa Mobetto appeared in, she is heard mocking Zari by asking for child support…just for fun and giggles!

Diamond Platnumz’s chain which has a cross has sparked a heated debate among Muslim faithful. The singer has been forced to address the controversial cross necklace that has been deemed inappropriate by Muslims.
Diamond has caused discomfort among some members of his faith who think his cross necklace is some sort of crucifix that Christian faithful usually wear.
Anything with a cross is usually regarded as the crucifix by Muslims, that why Red Cross had to change its logo in Islamic countries.

Diamond says those who claims he is wearing a crucifix have no idea of what they are talking about. The singer explains that his cross necklace is just a plus sign which he has no problem with.

Diamond Platnumz’s official photographer Kifesi was fired for meddling in his boss’ private affair. The Tanzanian singer is now using the services of renowned Kenyan photographer Michael Khateli.
Throughout 2017 Kifesi was busy commenting on his boss’ private life not knowing he was getting on Diamond’s nerves. He forgot he was Diamond photographer and thought he had become his personal adviser and even went on to mock Zari.
Kifesi was finally shown the door in 2018 after he blasted his boss for cheating on Zari. He said Zari could have made the perfect wife but Diamond Platnumz chose to let her go.

Michael Khateli is famous for taking the most viral photos of president Uhuru Kenyatta. He made headlines in September 2017 when police arrested him at Uhuru Park while he was taking photos of his wife.

Kenyan musicians have long complained about DJs favoring Nigerian songs over local content. The same situation bedevils Tanzanian musicians as well.
Harmonize opened up about plans to counter Nigerian music during an interview on Radio Five. He claims DJs favor playing Nigerian songs because there are not enough good Bongo fleva songs to be played.

Diamond Platnumz’s TV station has finally started broadcasting after months of preparations. Professor Jay had something to tell Diamond as his station went on air for the first time.
Wasafi TV started broadcasting on Tuesday night April 3rd 2018. The entertainment station airs on channel 122 on Azam direct broadcast satellite service.

Diamond Platnumz is not taking it lightly that his songs were banned by a minister who is too keen to please president John Magufuli.
In December 2017 president Magufuli warned musicians who display obscenities in their videos. And in early March 2018 several Bongo songs were banned for not adhering to accepted moral standards.
Diamond’s international collaborations ‘Waka’ and ‘Hallelujah’ were among songs banned. A total of 15 songs by were blacklisted from airplay in Tanzania.

He shot ‘Number One’ which was such a big hit that Davido approached him to do the remix together. ‘Number One’ remix is one of the most watched music videos on YouTube done by African artist, it has 31 million views.

Rumors about Rick Ross and Diamond’s beef started when the American rapper deleted Diamond’s photos from his Instagram handle.

Diamond and Rick Ross worked together to drop ‘Waka’ hit song. The Tanzanian singer has since opened up about his experience working with the American rapper.
Diamond traveled to Miami, USA in October 2017 to shoot his music video with Rick Ross. He reveals that it was not easy working with Rick Ross at the first time since he arrived late for the shoot.
Baba Tiffah says Rick Ross had a preconceived notion about him. He explains that Rosey might have thought he was primitive judging from how he was surprised when they first met.
“Siku ya kwanza call time ilikuwa 1pm na alikuja saa tatu usiku. Alipofika pale kwa sababu hatujawahi kukutana tulipoanza kushoot na kuongea nafikiri alipata picha tofauti, sjui alidhani mimi ni mshamba ama nini. Aliponiona alishangaa, akasema hii nguo mbona nzuri hivi, umetoa wapi? Nikamwambia hapa hapa na baada ya hapo akaanza kunipenda,” Diamond said.

Diamond asserts that he is in good terms with Rick Ross. There were rumors of beef between Diamond and Ross which followed after the American rapper deleted Diamond’s photos from his IG.
“Hatukuwa tumemaliza video kwa hivyo ilibidi tupatane kesho yake, lakini tulikuwa na wasi wasi. Alifika on set 2 hours before call time na kwa sahi, sisi ni marafiki, and I love Rick Ross.”

Diamond Platnumz finally launched his album ‘A Boy From Tandale’ on Wednesday night in Nairobi. The star-studded event was held at the Kenya National Theatre last night.
American crooner Omarion was among the artists who performed at Diamond’s album launch. Several Kenyan celebs including Jaguar, Bahati, Fena Gitu, Wyre etc were all in attendance.
Diamond’s family; his mother Sanura Sandra, sisters Ezma Platnumz and Queen Darleen and cousin Romy Jones also flew to Nairobi to show their kin support.

Diamond Platnumz has prepared a big surprise for his fans ahead of his album launch. The Tanzanian singer will be launching his album ‘A Boy From Tandale’ on Wednesday night at B Club.
Diamond has flown in American RnB sensation Omarion for his album launch. The ‘Waka’ hit maker was sponsored by Safaricom to launch his album in Kenya.
The album contains some of the biggest hits Diamond has ever released. New songs never released before are also in the album.
The big surprise
Diamond and Omarion will officially launch their music video at B Club. The two singers shot their music video way back in October 2017 in South Africa.
