The Sunday event at Hyatt Regency Hotel was a star-studded affair. Several Tanzanian celebs including Wema Sepetu were in attendance.

Diamond and Wema Sepetu broke up in 2014 before the former hooked up with Zari. But last night the two former lovebirds rekindled their love.

According to several news outlets, the singer donated huge sums of money to the two families as a way of showing love for their late sons.

According to reports the young girl, Hayley Hugo is the rightful owner of the mansion which was left in her name after her dad was sent to jail.

Mkubwa Fella recently opened up about the multi-million shillings mansion that now houses Wasafi record. He revealed that Wasafi Record’s new TV and Radio stations, which will also be located in the mansion, will go on air from February.
Fella also disclosed that they would hire veteran journalists to lead the station. He says that they will employ retirees from Tanzania Broadcasting Corporation (TBC).

Diamond didn’t buy the mansion
Mkubwa Fella states that neither his boss or Wasafi Record purchased the mansion contrary to earlier reports online. He says that they have only rented the house.
“Hio nyumba tumekodi, tunalipa pango kwa hivyo sio nyumba ya WCB au sio mali ya Diamond Platnumz,”said Mkubwa Fella.
Diamond has rented the mansion from a tycoon who is currently serving a jail term in Tanzania. The jailed tycoon is said to have built the mansion five years ago for his young daughter born out of wedlock and no one has ever lived in it.
The mansion had been put up for rent for a whopping $1500 or Kes 154,320. Apparently the house was unoccupied for years because of the ridiculous amount they were charging for rent.
The rent was finally reduced and Diamond became the first tenant to rent it. It’s not clear how much the singer is paying for rent for the mansion.

Last Friday Nairobi governor Mike Sonko ordered B-Club and Space Lounge to close. B-Club however opened its doors to revelers as Diamond touched down in Nairobi for a pool party at the club.

The two clubs located in Kilimani area were ordered shut by the county government. Sonko’s government said it received numerous complaints from area residents who protested noise from the clubs.
Space Lounge and B-Club were also found not adhering to noise pollution audit. The two clubs were also found contravening a government directive banning the sale of shisha.

No beef with Prince Abdul
Zari asserts that she will be a good mother to Hamisa’s son Abdul Nasibu aka ‘Prince Abdul’. The 37-year-old said this during an interview with Millard Ayo.
Zari explains that Diamond and Hamisa are to be blamed for what happened because they knew exactly what they were doing when they decided to sleep together.
She reiterates that Prince Abdul is innocent of the sins committed by his father and mother. Zari further states that she wouldn’t refuse to raise Prince Abdul if Diamond decided to take custody.

“The thing is you guys need to understand is yule mtoto amekuja kwa mistake. It’s not his mistake that he happened. Ni mistake ya wazazi. The person mwenye mamake amemzaa na baba coz baba alikua anajua nko na mahusiano, he was in a relationship ako na watoto wawili na dem alikua anajua kuna mwanamke kule kuna watoto lakini wee ukakaza you wanna keep the baby. So mimi naona tu if the baby comes, if he say oh namchukua mtoto wangu, it’s our child, ashakua whether we like it or not ashakua. So i wouldn’t say no coz mimi namwona yule mtoto amekuja kwa mistake. Ntakua mjinga sana kusema oh yule mtoto simpendi, ye pia ameshtukia tu amekuja so i don’t really have a problem,” said Zari.
