“I did it!” DJ Pierra Makena over the moon after completing her 14 days in quarantine

Saturday, the 4th of April, DJ Pierra Makena was over and done with her 14 days of quarantine.

March, the 22nd, the top female entertainer landed in the country from her trip to US and went straight into self-quarantine.

Staying in isolation and away from her young daughter for a fortnight, was nothing easy for her. But fans, friends, family and hope in God kept her going.

Tick tock, days had lapsed before she knew it. The sassy disk jockey was over the moon on social media, shouting out loud that she had ‘done it!’

With heartfelt thanks sent to her online family who kept her sane and occupied and to God who kept her health in check.

Yay!!! Guys we did it!!! ???????? thankyou for standing with me throughout my 14 days of self quarantine. It wasn’t easy but God saw me through..Im in perfect health. Thank God he kept me safe and away from the virus.

Glad and relieved that despite having spent couple of days overseas, she was still negative from Coronavirus, the popular female disk jockey stressed on the importance of keeping safe.

My advise…stay safe. Do everything possible to avoid the infection. And if you feel any symptom…quickly isolate.. get tested and get to your road for recovery.

Because at the end of it all, it pays to keep your loved ones safe.

DJ Pierra Makena was enjoying her stay overseas before Covid-19 saw African nations establish lockdowns to contain the bulging effects of the pandemic.

This clamped down on the sassy female disk jockey who got stranded in Los Angeles, with airlines restricted from jetting into the country – Kenya.

With a daughter back home, but one she cannot physically embrace or hold, instead, only have online video chats with.

It tore her inner being to bits! Her prayer was one:

please God help!???????????? i have to get home.

Back to Kenya

Fortunate enough, she was able to secure herself a ticket to Kenya, with the help of friends and family.

FINALLY…!I got a boarding pass and i can see the pride of Africa @officialkenyaairways ……wah mpaka i am emotional! GOD IS GREAT…. See you guys in 15 days???????????????????? thankyou guys for your prayers and checking up on me…

However, it is not all rosy for her, with stringent quarantine measures in place by the government for anyone coming into the country, especially from any of the virus-struck nations.

Barely 2 days into her quarantine, the multi-talented female DJ cried out:

Felt better yesterday. Still cant sleep at night.
Spoke to my baby.. and she ia not taking it well. It’s terrible..i feel bad that i can’t see her yet.

Just 2 days down means she has couple of days to go before physically interacting with her daughter or family for that matter.

She misses me too and does not understand what is going on. I don’t have latest videos of us. I haven’t seen her in like forever…11 more days to go..all i pray is we don’t get a total lockdown such that i can’t even go to my moms after the 14days..please God hear our cries. ????????
