The song titled Sitaogopa, which is a Swahili word that means ‘I’ll not fear’, has been ruling the airwaves since it was released a few hours ago and to be honest, we are also feeling it.

Basically, this song assures believers that they don’t have to fear anything because they have Jesus on their side, he’ll always protect them and ensure no harm comes to them.

Sitaogopa is very infectious. I have listened to it a couple of times since it was released and every time I play it, I feel like I’m hearing it for the very first time. Yup, it’s that good.

It also carries a very powerful message and if you are a believer you will not resist the urge to get up and sing along in praise of the most high.

The other thing that will definitely catch your attention, other than Evelyn Wanjiru’s amazing vocals of course, is the level of energy in this song. Clearly, they know what it means to praise God.

The background vocalists also did a good job. Their voices blend so well with that of Evelyn Wanjiru and nothing was out of sync.

After listening to Sitaogopa, I know you will agree with me that the instrumentation was really dope. Perhaps it’s the reason why I’ve had this song on repeat since it came out. The trumpet sound is so infectious.

As I mentioned earlier, this song has a lot of energy and as you watch the video which was directed by Solomon K, it’s likely that you will find yourself singing along and dancing. Props to the BGVs and dancers.
