Details: Sanaipei Tande finally responds to Abel Mutua’s love note of 16 years ago

Youthful production mogul, Abel Mutua revealed details on his crush for Swahili songbird, Sanaipei Tande.

The actor went the extra mile just to make sure he would get in touch with the alluring beauty, who back in the days, was in a music trio called ‘Sema’.

2004, the actor had just completed his high school studies and was still green in the entertainment scene.

His sister’s friends could not understand just how he didn’t know the popular music trio at the time, who had just won the East Africa Coca-Cola Popstars Talent Search.

This compelled Abel to listen to the trio’s songs and familiarize himself with the artistes.

The minute he listened to their song ‘Mwewe’, he got blown away by Sanaipei Tande’s voice that saw him transcend, just in search of her.

Because, the content producer believed Sana was meant to be his wife and he was going to bring her home officially.

However, his sweat and hard work were all in vain after his little note and costly bar of chocolate failed to reach the singer and this disappointed him to the core.

After a while, Abel’s mother saw how distressed he was and decided to find out who this ‘Sanaipei Tande’ is. Only to realize she was legendary politician ‘William Ole Ntimama’s daughter’.

This excruciatingly killed Abel’s dreams to secure the songbird as his wife, considering she came from a political elite family and he was just this KCSE graduate from Kibera.

However, he never gave up his dreams completely, promising to look for Sana one day.

It has been 16 years since and the script writer never tried to look for the beauty, neither have they crossed paths or graced the same event together, funny enough.

A story he shared on his Instagram as his first episode on his weekly ‘Young and Stupid’ online series.

As he recalls how back in the days, he put in so much effort, just to meet Sanaipei Tande, he looks disappointed but simultaneously feeling ‘Young and Stupid’.

Well, in the age of the Internet, word reached the actress soon enough and she responded to the woes of her dear ‘crush’, Abel Mutua.

Sharing her ‘response’ clip on her Instagram, she expressed deep sympathy that all of Abel’s efforts bore no fruits, but thanked him for his ‘efforts’ that indeed proved he is a gentleman.

However, she admitted it is time she DM-ed him and had a chit-chat as friends, additionally sending greetings to Abel’s wife, to dispel any speculations that she might be eyeing Abel.

This move, the singer said she had to make after Kenyans tagged her numerous times and could not ignore it, instead listen to her crush’s confessions and reply promptly – which she did.

She additionally clarified that she is not the late Ole Ntimama’s daughter but ‘Atande’s’ daughter, so no confusion should be brought into that.

Recuperating B-Club deejay Evolve is responding well to treatment, but his bill remains unknown according to his father, John Orinda.

DJ Evolve was rushed to Nairobi hospital following a shooting incident at B-club in January this year that saw him remain paralyzed for days and in unstable condition.

Since then, the deejay, real names Felix Orinda went through a number of surgeries to help him get back on his two feet.

In a recent interview with Kenyans, Mr John Orinda divulged positive news in regard to his son’s health condition but expressed concern over his shooting bill.

I have been coming to the hospital but I did not get to meet the management so I do not know how much the bill is at now. The bill is still rising and as of now, I think it is nearing to Ksh 13 million or has crossed the Ksh 14 million mark.

The dad revealed that Felix can sit and even feed but has a challenge with walking and leaving his bed.

He can sit and eat with help though he can’t walk or leave his bed.

John Orinda disclosed that as his son recovers, the bill is set to rise the more but hoped that Embakasi East MP, Babu Owino would come to their rescue.

For this week, I have not checked how far the bill has reached but judging by his condition, it is still set to go up. I am not sure if Babu Owino will settle all of it.

Babu Owino, who has been a person of interest in the case stated that Felix has been a friend to him and will not let him struggle with the swelling hospital bills.

Evolve was a personal friend of mine and we shall pursue ways to help settle that bill.

Ali Kiba has let free two artists signed under his label, Kings Music Records after they asked to quit.

Ally killy Omary better known as Killy and Rasheed, popularly known as Cheed both announced their exit on social media in an interesting manner.

Apparently, the two, who share different Instagram accounts, had the same notice put up, to announce their exit from the bongo flava star’s label.

Both clarifying that this move is not under any influence. Rather a sound decision arrived at, to grow their art.

I was surprised. Kings music is like a school, if you feel you are content, you can go. They came to me at night when I was already asleep at around 1 am. When they called, I was shocked. I had to wake up, I went to listen to them and they said they were exiting. The conversation tool like 5 minutes. I was tired and sleepy.

Kiba refuted any speculations of having asked the two artistes out of his own home, disclosing they were like family to him.

I didn’t do anything like that, they stayed up to when they decided to move and rent their own house. They were my two close people. We’ve lived like family.

Surprisingly, no contract was signed between Kings Music Records and the two vocalists.

Tanasha’s manager quashes reports that she was put in forced quarantine

Tanasha Donna was allegedly put under forced quarantine after reports emerged she was out partying with magnate, Tim Matiba.

The singer alongside, Ringtone Apoko had allegedly allegedly attended the businessman’s birthday party along Mombasa road.

This is after the event streamed live on Instagram and Facebook.

Kenya Film Classification Board (KFCB) chief executive, Dr Ezekiel Mutua has offered to mentor and grow comedian Mulamwah’s talent after tweeps drove him almost into depression.

The comedian had seemingly given up his career in comedy after social media trolls saw his wife loose their 3-month old unborn baby.

This got the better part of him and he could no longer bear the negativity, therefore deciding to let his critics have their way.

Sunday, the 12th of April, Ruth Matete lost her husband after allegedly succumbing to burn injuries sustained following a gas explosion at their home in Athi River.

Darkness enveloped Kenyans soon after the news broke and went viral. However, controversial details about the Nigerian Pastor’s death are emerging.

Mr Jesse recorded a 17-minute clip ‘exposing’ the terror in Ruth Matete and Pastor Belovedjohn’s marriage.

Belovedjohn’s marriage was never rosy. Ruth Matete you can tell the whole world the truth. You were very violent, you have stabbed him not once, not twice, not thrice.

The Nigerian man expressed sorrow over Belovedjohn’s untimely death – who can no longer reveal what exactly happened to him – as he now points fingers towards the TPF winner for allegedly killing her hubby.

I have listened to the clip. It is only full of lamentations. All his info is from unverified sources. John is seen in the hospital. Therefore was not abandoned. He was taken to hospital. Ruth rushed for help.

Attesting that the Jesse’s pains for not getting paid for services offered, are the basis of his tantrums.

The narrator is having beef for unpaid services for work done. He also has beef because Ruth never wanted John to go back to Nigeria to his other family.

Seasoned Kenyan journalist, Terryanne Chebet has fallen victim of manipulating her co-parent through their child.

Terryanne is well-known and established in the media profession but away from the screens, she is a proud mother of two daughters.

However, her two children are from different fathers, with whom she works with to ensure proper upbringing and growth of her children.

Through her YouTube channel, the Metropol TV General Manager spoke of her co-parenting struggles that saw her go to great extents, just to get back at her ex.

The key she said, is to ‘understand that the child is more important than both your issues’ and this is where respect comes in handy.

Make sure you both understand the child is more important than what you are going through. Try to be in a place where you respect each other, so you have to get there first. Respect takes a long time to grow, especially after trust has been broken or there are feelings of distress that have caused problems.

Speaking of co-parenting, the mompreneur admitted it might look easy but it is not fully so because at the end of the day, one’s interests are put aside for the sake of the children.

It’s easy to co-parent, but I don’t think it’s 100 percent easy. But it had to get to a place where we put the child first. I always say you don’t have to be best friends with your co-parent. Have a cordial relationship that they can call and talk to the child or pick the child.

Terryanne spoke of women who use the children to take revenge on the man and she was not different either.

The media mogul recalled a time she fell into that trap as well but with age, came maturity and wisdom, she let it go.

I have seen women use the child to revenge on the man. I have done that because you’re upset with the father, but with time and maturity and wisdom, and speaking to older people who have been there, the advice they gave me is that it’s not you who will suffer in the end by denying the child access to the father.

On Sunday, Ruth Matete lost her Nigerian husband, Beloved John but a couple of Nigerians took the opportunity to instead backlash the Kenyan singer.

Ruth and her late hubby, Pastor Beloved John tied the knot in November 2019, in a ceremony criticized by many, who branded her a ‘husband-snatcher’.

Pastor John was allegedly still married to one Juliet Aihinomo Idehen with whom they sired two children.

However, the Nigerian pastor still thanked all his haters, affirming that him and his wife – Ruth Matete – were doing good and would continue doing well through God’s blessings.

Comedian Mulamwah’s sad story has won the hearts of many, but not KISS 100’s Kamene Goro who instead rebuked him.

The radio queen called out the comedian for being a hypocrite yet he is the biggest bully in the industry.

During her show ‘Morning Kiss’, Kamene recalled a time when Mulamwah openly body shamed her and a friend of hers.

So dramatic. This is some hypocritical nonsense. Ati oooh my gosh you people are hating on me. First of all, personally, Mulamwah is the biggest bully I have ever met! Tanasha in forced quarantine after late night partying, risks getting charged

Kenyan artistes, Tanasha Donna and Ringtone were placed in forced quarantine after details emerged of a house party the two attended.

City magnate, Tim Matiba had invited the Kenyan model to make an appearance and later perform at his birthday party on Good Friday.

A party that was held along Mombasa road and one that went late into the night. It streamed live on Instagram and Facebook, with many joining in.

Curfew

Kenya’s government put in place a curfew between 7pm and 5 am in order to help curb further spread of Coronavirus.

Social events and gatherings had been completely banned to observe social distancing. Stern measures were out in place for anyone who defied the directives.

However, Tim Matiba’s birthday celebrations seemingly flouted the government rules. It disregarded social distancing, lack of protective masks and extending beyond stipulated curfew hours.

Also, the individuals have been placed under forced quarantine at their own cost.

Chipukeezy has lately been trying out new things including hairstyles that have left him looking okay and somehow not so okay.

Moral cop, Dr Ezekiel Mutua is at the very least, impressed by the viral ‘Utawezana’ hit that has taken over the inter-webs since April 1st.

The Kenya Film and Classification Board CEO, censured the jam as ‘glorifying immorality in the guise of creativity’.

Through his Facebook account, Dr Ezekiel bashed:

The Okonkwo utawezana nonsense is a shallow, bizarre sexual perversion. There’s absolutely nothing creative there. That lady would be ashamed to sing such crap before her mother. While comic relief is an integral part of art, it needs not be dirty or sexualized to be entertaining.

“That content lacks rigour and defies common decency” he added, insisting that even in the face of such a crisis, artistes ought to focus on content creation that inspires hope and helps society deal with ongoing challenges.

Assuring ‘Utawezana’ artistes and those involved:

The Board will take stern measures against artistes who misuse digital technology to promote immorality by creating, broadcasting, distributing or exhibiting immorality and unpalatable content. Such people should not be considered as artistes. But enemies of society and a threat to the well being of our children. They should not benefit from any Government funds.

The media ethics’ chief-whip said the artistes risk being blacklisted from any engagements with the government.

The Board will blacklist these kinds of perverts and share their names with the relevant ministries and Government agencies to ensure that they are never engaged by Government.

Reasoning:

Right now kids are at home and have access to technology as an essential tool for their studies. It’s wrong to have content that can ruin their morals being circulated with wanton abandon. It’s worse when mainstream media begins to glorify such dirty content by giving the creators airtime on TV or Radio.

In line with the Government’s stipulations, the consummate media practitioner affirmed:

The Government has a duty to protect children from premature exposure to adult content. Those producing, broadcasting, distributing or exhibiting such immoral content will not benefit from Government funding. They will also never be allowed to perform in public events funded by the Government. Content doesn’t have to be obscene to sell.

He shamed grownups who were quoting the ‘idiocy’ and media houses treating it as ‘creativity’.

That’s not creativity. It’s immoral foolishness that only appeals to perverts and unless we condemn it, many innocent kids will do this thinking it’s a fashionable and honorable thing!

Backlash

Comments that did not sit well with a section of Kenyans and ‘Utawezana’ challenge fans who came out to insult the moral cop.

However, Dr Ezekiel calmly responded to his trolls, warning them that some day, they will come to appreciate his concerns.

Those kids who keep insulting me on social media for condemning their obscene content and immoral activities will one day thank me for raining on their parade. They will grow up and realise how lucky they are that somebody stopped them from sliding further into the abyss!

Letter: Xtian Dela’s smart response to parents over explicit Club Covid show

Kenyan online sensation, Xtian Dela’s lawyers have been forced to respond following a law suit channeled their client’s way over his explicit show on Instagram.

Three parents, through a lawyer based at Ngugi Mburu Advocates, Nairobi, issued a letter on Friday, the 10th of April, accusing Xtian of violating the rights of teenagers.

The three parents felt the blogger was broadcasting lewd content on his Insta Live show, that engaged young girls.

The letter, addressed by Ngugi Mburu Advocates, reads in part:

Our instructions are to take such further steps in this matter as may be necessary. Including the institution of legal proceeding against our self for the distribution of the obscene images and contravention of the right to dignity at all times. Holding you liable for the costs thereby incurred and other consequences ensuring thereof.

Even so, Xtian accused the parents of trying to ‘kill his vibe’ with the top-viewed live stream.

Seeming unmoved, the social media personality responded to the call to shut down his live stream, through his lawyers, on Sunday, the 12th of April, clarifying:

The aim of the live event is to suppress the anxiety and stress brought about by the Covid-19 pandemic. Something that even the government has been calling for.

The lawyers categorically stated that viewers watched the explicit content on their own will.

Thus, anyone with a contrary opinion should as well keep off of it on their own volition.

These must be trying times for gospel singer, Ruth Matete who lost her husband last week Saturday, after succumbing to burn injuries.

Darkness engulfed the Kenyan singer’s heart and home, following a gas explosion in their home that saw her husband spend days fighting for his life in the ICU/HDU.

It is quarantine time and deep reflections had Lilian Muli reveal her biggest regret – cohabiting with her baby daddy.

The enchanting TV journalist sat at home, confronting issues she never allowed herself to confront before, all in an effort to run away from her reality.

Kenyan Tik-Tok queen, Azziad Nasenya was offered a job by Tanzania’s Wasafi TV which she declined citing Diamond’s unscrupulous ways.

The 19-year old journalism student struck the limelight after her Tik-Tok video jamming to Femi One’s new hit ‘Utawezana’ featuring Mejja, went viral.

Diamond’s manager reached out to Azziad, inviting her to work with Diamond-owned Wasafi TV – an offer she outrightly declined.

Her main reason being Diamond’s known history with ladies, that has not left such a good taste of the Tanzanian superstar in his fans’ mouths.
