“Don’t tell me to add another one, these kids are enough” DJ Mo’s plea to Size 8 during quarantine

It is quarantine time and parents are home with their young children and trust you me, it has not been easy.

Especially young kids, who not only run all over but do not understand what is keeping their parents too busy to even spend the entire day with them.

In retaliation, kids have decided to approach the situation head-on and gospel DJ Mo has not been spared either.

As he works on his creative skills at home, his two children are all over and pretty distracting for him to concentrate on what he is doing.

With a dear Ladasha Belle on his back and Muraya Junior, lying on his rocker chair, right beside his laptop.

Mama Wambo gets to the sitting room and finds her hubby struggling with the children and all she can do is laugh out loud.

A stressed-out DJ Mo then rants:

Hii quarantine itatumaliza. Let me tell you, if these are only two children who are already stressing me, let us just close the chapter right there, I don’t want to come back to this. No more kids!

Bongo hip hop artist, Billnass shocked many after getting a tattoo of his beloved songbird, Nandy on his arm.

The Tanzanian sweethearts have been in an on and off relationship for a while now, with fans unsure of where their bond stands.

Early in the week, the Tanzanian artist got himself inked a tattoo on his arm – ‘the first ever’, he revealed.

Billnass shared a photo of his tattoo artist in action but admitted he was in too much pain but it was all worth it.

So deep is his love for African Princess, he would rather withstand the pain of having a laser go through his skin.

Yesterday, the 7th of April, Nia, a daughter he sired with Joan Mwihaki, clocked 6 years of age.

Up on his Instagram, the Switch TV presenter showed some love to his baby girl terming her as ‘a child who completes his life’.

It was 7 years of waiting, without the cry of a baby being heard in Kambua’s home. Days were dark and tormenting, until God called her from the waiting room.

Now 8 years since the beauty and her ‘beast’, Pastor Jackson Mathu, exchanged vows in church.

But for Kambua, ‘she remembers that day like it was yesterday’. Celebrating their 8th wedding anniversary, Mama Nate vividly recalled the fateful day she was blessed to be a wife.

I remember my excitement and anxiety all interwoven into a beautiful tapestry that would be our future. ⠀

She was so excited, yet pretty anxious, with dreams of a fulfilling future and a happily-ever after that would see their marriage bear endless fruits.

As with every wedding the ministers prayed and spoke blessings over us…blessed my womb, and spoke fruitfulness over us. And as an eager wide-eyed bride I said a resounding “Amen”! ⠀

Married life

Hardly did she know, that was going to be the start of a long, trying waiting for a child that never seemed to come.

Her circle of friends, would constantly invite her to their baby showers and first birthdays, but never would it be the converse.

What I did not know then, was that I would be sitting in ‘the waiting room’ for 7 years. 7! I would watch my friends have babies- one, then two, then five…! I would attend endless baby showers and first birthdays.

At times, she would listen to the agonies of her friends who felt inconvenienced by a ‘badly-timed’ pregnancy.

In the waiting room I would walk with friends who were devastated at the ‘inconvenience’ of a badly timed pregnancy. Whoa.

It became the norm for her – that every time her hubby and her tried to conceive, the pregnancy results always turned out negative and it all tore her apart.

I didn’t know how accustomed I would be to the ONE line on a pregnancy test. Empty arms, empty womb, empty heart

The light

But who is God? However hard it is to admit, indeed God’s time is the Best!

Kambua’s time to warm her home with a baby’s cry had come – God healed her heart and shifted her thoughts.

But then God healed me. He healed my heart and shifted my mind. He lifted my head even when mockery and shame arose. He remained the voice of truth. And after I had made my peace with him, that he would bless me in whichever way, at whatever time, then heaven moved.

Apparently, she had gotten accustomed to the negative pregnancy results, day-in, day-out, for a whooping 7 years – such that when her blessing came her way, she got caught unawares.

My name was called. I had been next in line and didn’t even know it! With hope and yes, alot of anxiety I exited the waiting room and became a mother. God has honored me in ways I can never fathom. Not by anything I did, but by His grace. ⠀
He is a God who loves us. He is faithful. He remains undefeated. ????????????????

Only she truly understands how it felt on that very day, when her door opened.

President Uhuru Kenyatta recently announced that artists in the country would be receiving Ksh 100 million as royalties!

The news spread like wild fire on social media as online users couldn’t believe that the president chose to allocate the money to artists; and not the less fortunate suffering now that most are out of work due to the COVID – 19.

Seeing how negative people were reacting towards the money given to artists, actress Catherine Kamau decided to step in and defend herself and the many artists from Kenya. Through her Instagram page the lady went on to write saying;

Why is there so much bile about this ? Please make me understand. I know so many artistes who are almost sleeping hungry or houses closed because of this pandemic , yet still you turn on your radio or tv and they put a smile on your face ????! AMA labda wewe si wa locals (as the bourgeoisie say ) Mimi Niko Sawa and I thank God and will continue to Entertain , but najua wengi wanahitaji this help . Let’s be human . Government paying its debt to artists

In another post the lady went on to acknowledge that indeed there were better things to do with the money; however the Ksh 100 million was part of the debt the government owed the artists.

She went on to say;

1. I have been made to UNDERSTAND that the bile is About PRIORITIES and not ARTISTES getting paid their Dues .2. PLEASE NOTE: an ARTISTE is not only the performers you see on social media or any other media . We have MILLIONS of them in this country and most of them are not as privileged as you may think.

3. Part of this fund is actually money OWED
to Kenyan artistes as ROYALTIES.
That being said I hope the Fund gets to all deserving artistes!! I also hope the government will equip all departments involved in fighting this pandemic with adequate funds . In short @ukenyatta we all deserve to feel include .

I will continue to play my part in my community which has been To educate on the fight against covid 19 and to also give to my brothers and sisters . My Apologies if the post came out as insensitive.

What Willy Paul had to say after the President ‘read’ his letter

Award-winning Kenyan artist, Willy Paul took the golden opportunity to thank President Uhuru Kenyatta for reading his letter and acting on it spontaneously.

Last week Monday, the controversial artist wrote a lengthy letter to the President regarding the adverse effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on the entertainment industry.

However, it looks like Pozze’s woes to the 1st in command in the Republic of Kenya, have been heard after the President’s directive that Ksh 100 million be disbursed to local artistes.

Acknowledging the spontaneous response by the Commander-in-Chief, Willy Paul personally thanked the President penning:

I said it here, thank you, Mr President, for reading my letter and responding within such short notice.

More woes

Before ranting:

Fortunately or unfortunately, you have just directed the money to the same people that have been paying us peanuts.

Sadly, the President’s directive was literally handing over the music royalties and cash payments to the Music Copyright Society of Kenya which has in the past been a pain in the a** for local artistes.

The ‘Magnetic’ singer expressed discontentment on the directive to have MCSK disburse the funds among artistes because it would only heighten their problems.

Pointing fingers to the Music Copyright Society of Kenya, Pozze articulated:

What we want now is transparency. They should tell us how they intend to distribute the money. What system are there boards using to pay us?

Cautioning:

They should know that we have our eyes on them and this time, will be with them on the same table while making decisions.

Entertainers

And to his fellow ‘brothers and sisters’ in the diverse field of entertainment, the artist urged them to speak their minds before they become oppressed.

My fellow artistes, actors, presenters, comedians, producers, DJs, learn to speak up please. You will die of hunger because of fear.

Further emphasizing on the need for them all to hold hands and fight those denying them of their rights.

Monday, the 6th of April, during his address to the nation, President Uhuru directed the Ministry of Sports, Culture and Heritage to make available Ksh 100 million to assist local artistes overcome the current pandemic.

This is after taking note of the vital role artistes have played so far, in going a step further to entertain the Kenyan audience on various social media platforms, despite the havoc COVID-19 is wrecking.

Additionally, the President stated that royalties of up to Ksh 200 million monthly (2 billion yearly) would be disbursed to those in the entertainment industry.

According to Kambua’s latest post on her Instagram page, we do understand that she has been together with her main man for 8 years now!

There marriage however was not so easy as they both struggled to conceive and after 7 years, their prayers were finally answered. Speaking about her struggle to get pregnant; Kambua opened up saying that things were not so easy and neither was the topic bare able.

Several paintings put up, the voluptuous lass proudly flaunted her skills in art to fans and followers attesting that she was an artist before the fame.

Human beings were created as social beings and it is a tough time when peoples of the world have been barred from freely mixing with each other.

‘No more hang-outs, no more school for kids, no more lazy park sittings, no more friend meet-ups..’ that best explains Betty Kyallo’s current lifestyle.

Taking to her Instagram pages, the bubbly journalist was baffled at just how much her normal routine had changed in the span of days.

Known to be pretty social and welcoming to those who feel her vibe and lighten up her days, the current times are pretty confining.

I miss the normal life, handshakes, kisses and hugs, strategy meetings, hustling meet ups, hanging out with my daughter in the malls and playgrounds, her going to school, Lazy park sittings, going out, dancing, meeting friends, travelling….

In long Instagram posts, a shocked Diana lay it all in black and white with screenshots of her conversations with the lady, allegedly from Nigeria.

Ms Marua recalled how she came to know her ‘backstabber’, Jane Mwangi.

One day Scrolling on my WhatsApp messages I get disturbing messages from a Lady introducing herself as Jane Mwangi, texting from Nigeria trying to open up to me that her life is at the edge. Sending me photos of her devastated self, telling me that her family views her as an outcast and she’s at the Verge of Committing Suicide.

What actually caught Diana’s interest to extend a helping hand to this lady, is after the lady reminded her that they went to the same school.

Diana wanted to pay Jane’s flight back to Kenya despite the fact that she knew Bahati was tired of helping these people.

but I was still pushing him to pay for a Stranger a flight from Nigeria to Nairobi as I tried to see how I can rent for her a servants quarter to start her life. My husband was hesitant and kept telling me to pray before anything lakini Diana ni Nani na Karoho kake ku’try kusaidia mtu????

So the flight got booked and the lady returned home but Diana missed her calls because she was having tight schedules at the time.

She contacted me severally but eventually, I welcomed her to my home ????‍♀️. With babies at home, we wouldn’t have talked much,I opted we go to two rivers Mall. I noticed she was high and because She told me things are not Okey; I suggested to buy her food but she insisted on drinking which for me didn’t go well but anyway, I let her be.

Ms Jane then opened up to Diana about how ‘she has been living in a Brothel and how she’s been in contact with ritualistic stuff’.

But because the lady was drunk and Diana didn’t feel they would discuss anything important in her condition, she postponed the meeting to a later date.

We got home and I organised a cab and To my Surprise this lady had come with a suitcase(I hadn’t seen it, nanny opened for her) ata nilidhania ameamua Kuhamia Kwangu ???? Haiya! and instead of going with her Suitcase she leaves it; ati Kesho nataka Kukuonyesha Biashara yangu _

In the current age and time, Diana felt it difficult to trust just anyone ‘because people nowadays are framed of drug trafficking’. Anyway, she still did and hoped for the best.

Only for the lady to go MIA for a week plus, and never respond to Diana’s texts or calls.

But weirdly a person who was to come back the next day goes quiet for more than a week. The last Conversation was please pay for my Uber and i asked her kama alifika she didnt respond just after Kupokea Mpesa ????.

2 weeks later, the lady called Diana’s nanny and told her she was at the gate but was denied entry.

Again! She had no money for Transport back, that’s why she needed to see Me; but if I’m not in, I’m not in. Helping You was optional not Mandatory Alar!

Disappointed that she easily got fooled by her kind heart, Diana cried out:

Saturday, the 4th of April, DJ Pierra Makena was over and done with her 14 days of quarantine.

March, the 22nd, the top female entertainer landed in the country from her trip to US and went straight into self-quarantine.

Staying in isolation and away from her young daughter for a fortnight, was nothing easy for her. But fans, friends, family and hope in God kept her going.

Tick tock, days had lapsed before she knew it. The sassy disk jockey was over the moon on social media, shouting out loud that she had ‘done it!’

This is after Tanzanian blogger, Juma Lokole revealed that Tanasha’ Prado was registered under Sandra’s name.

Now, fingers point in Mbosso’s direction, with claims that he was handed Tanasha’s gift of a car.

The WCB singer promptly responded to the reports, admitting that there is some resemblance but that is not to mean that is Tanasha’s former ride.

This is after he was spotted cruising the fuel guzzler that could easily be mistaken for Tansha’s birthday gift.

He was compelled to even provide receipts as proof of ownership, during his interview with Wasafi media, disclosing his new ride ran above Ksh 10 million’s worth.

I was told, if I’m not keen, my car will be seen to be that of Tansha’s. This is my car that I started the year with.

Adding that even if they were to take his Prado to Diamond’s house and compare it to Tanasha’s former ride or that of Sandra, there would be a major difference.

Tanasha’s current ride

During her exclusive interview with True Love magazine, the 24-year old model said she had no interest in the Prado she was gifted and chose to leave it behind.

The car is in Tanzania. I had no interest in taking it.

Clarifying that she is an independent woman and does not need the financial support, after all, she has her own German machine in Kenya.

I have my car here. My BMW actually it’s in the garage. I can get myself a car and what I need. That’s all that matters.
