Having faced many trials and challenges together, Catherine Kamau says her son still remains the constant blessing that has helped her become the woman she is today.

The commercial model spent a week behind bars after defying court orders by skipping court hearings.

City blogger, Robert Alai goes free on a Ksh 300,000 cash bail a fortnight after his arrest.

This is after failing to adhere to high orders by Kenya´s Police spokesperson, Charles Owino.

18th of June 2019, the city blogger was arrested after publishing gruesome photos of fallen police officers from Al-Shabaab attack.

Additionally disclosing to the public, details of a deceased police officer via social media.

An act considered to interfere with the maintenance of public order in the country.

Therefore facing detention for 14 days, charged with treachery and intent of helping the terror group.

He however denied charges before magistrate, Francis Andayi at a Milimani court.

Alai was today released on a Ksh 300,000 cash bail and a Ksh 500,000 bond.

Robert Alai´s case goes for hearing on the 8th of August 2019.

Wasafi artists, Diamond Platinumz and Rayvanny release ¨Vumbi¨ anthem that is already hitting the airwaves.

Vumbi´s official audio is out, posted just Monday evening, the 1st of July 2019.

The song´s audio has already attracted way over 370,000 views and 800 comments within an hour of publication.

¨Vumbi¨ is a banger that talks about always being ahead of your rival.

Shaffie Weru clarifies on being fired from KISS 100

Shaffie Weru clears the air on whether Radio Africa fired him to take up Kamene Goro and Andrew Kibe.

Just weeks ago, Kiss 100´s breakfast show presenter, Adelle Onyango exited the station while her co-host, Shaffie Weru was away in the US with his daughter.

Word making the rounds were that the two were allegedly fired from the station, after their unanticipated departure.

The two were replaced by former NRG´s presenters, Kamene Goro and Andrew Kibe for the KISS 100´s breakfast show.

However, speaking exclusively to K24´s Betty Kyallo, Shaffie cited that this has been the longest he has been away from radio.

Reason being, he is on leave. A leave that was set to end the day after he was recording the episode with Betty.

Radio Africa vow to defend Kamene Goro and Andrew Kibe in NRG suit

KISS 100´s Kamene Goro and Andrew Kibe have Radio Africa in their defense against court charges filed by their former employer, NRG.

Since the two radio presenters exited NRG for KISS 100´s breakfast show, they have hardly been able to take up their new job after facing court charges.

According to court documents, NRG cite a non-compete clause in the presenters´ contracts.

Upon resigning, the two paid NRG 3-months salary in lieu of notice.

However, NRG seeks to have the court:

Grant a temporary order of injunction restraining the Respondent from performing services for, carrying or being engaged or interested or concerned directly or indirectly

or publicly identifying with the promotion of or the services provided by, any other radio station within the Republic of Kenya

or in any business which in anyway competes with the Applicant’s business pending the hearing and determination of this application.

Fortunately, Kamene´s and Kibe´s current employer, Radio Africa have vowed to defend them.

 

Radio Africa´s CEO,Patrick Quarcoo affirms:

We shall aggressively defend our employees on this suit.

But as we speak, Kamene Goro just Monday cited that she is still in limbo.
