Anerlisa Muigai and Benpol have been keeping details of their wedding day on the low; but now that they have both confirmed to be married, fans can’t help but ask for their wedding day photos.

So far we have managed to get a few from Edgar Obare and the latest one from Anerlisa’s featured image on her IG bio. Having seen how amazing she looked, fans have been making their way to her page hoping to come across more photos.

Judging from the photo above; it’s evident to see that Anerlisa and Ben Pol spent quite an amount to achieve the glorious wedding in Bongo.

The evening party photos also show that this was a green and gold themed wedding that only saw close friends and relatives attend! What many don’t understand is how Anerlisa and her family crossed the boundaries into Tanzania during the lockdown; but hey, that if for them to worry!

Anyway rumor has it that Anerlisa Muigai could be expecting her first child with hubby, BenPol. This is following a post shared on her instagram story where she talked about ‘little Tecra’; hinting that she could be expecting a baby girl.

Why Ezekiel Mutua blames Kamba musicians for teenage pregnancies in Machakos!

Kenya Films Classification Board (KFCB) CEO Ezekiel Mutua has come out to blame Kamba musicians for their dirty content; which has contributed to about 38000 teenage pregnancies in Machakos county.

As reported earlier the girls said to be pregnant range from ages 15 to 14 years and below.

Although this comes as a surprise, Ezekiel Mutua already feels that this should be blamed on Kamba artists who promote sexual content in their music.

Through his Twitter handle, Mr Mutua went on to say;

The news about 4000 girls getting pregnant in Machakos County is shocking but not surprising. In 2017, a survey by KFCB on the effects of vulgar vernacular music on the youth captured this reality. Machakos County topped for vulgarity. Even the bands had sexualised stage names.

Dirty content

He went on to blame these artists for promoting sexual content on the low using names such as Katombi (which is self explanatory) to other names like Maima and Vuusya ungu; which allegedly carry vulgar meanings in Kamba.

In the 2017 survey, KFCB raised alarm about how Kamba vernacular music normalised teenage sex and objectification of women. Most music had young girls gyrating and the bands had sexualised stage names such as Katombi, Maima, Vuusya ungu etc.

To make things worse, these songs also promote rape and instead of being criticized; they get massive airplay in most Kamba stations as they compete for traffic numbers.

The survey covered Seven Counties in Kenya but Machakos with bands like Katombi and Maima topped in vulgarity. Dirty music dominates most kamba vernacular stations with content that encourages sex with young girls, even rape. It’s time to stop this trend.

Kenyans on social media are however creating awareness on this to end since it appears like we are now fighting the wrong pandemic!

Hope Kid seems to have bounced back months after a certain lady from Nakuru exposed him infecting her with an STI. According to the lady, they had a threesome which left her fighting herpes and Human Papiloma Virus (HPV)

The scandal which also involved one DK Kwenye Beat left the two artists looking like perverts; and of course greedy thanks to their disgusting actions.

Anyway, this remains in the past and from the look of things; Hope Kid appears to have moved on with his life. As seen on several posts shared on his page, seems like he bagged himself a good lady who will soon be settling down with him.

In his caption the gospel singer made it known that he is in a serious relationship with the lass identified as, Njambi Giitwa. He went on to caption the post saying;

Singer Vanessa Mdee will not be releasing new music anytime soon this is because the lady has decided to take some time off the industry; as she hopes she work on herself.

Speaking during her podcast dubbed Dive Deep with Vanessa Mdee the former singer opened up revealing unknown things about herself. Well, for those of us of who did not know; turns out that the singer battled with depression a while back.

She however kept it a secret while battling it alone in silence. However after relocating to Atlanta where she resides with her boyfriend, Rotimi; she now says things on her side are slowly getting back to normal. Through her podcast, the lady opened up narrating;

I don’t know who needs to hear this, but my mission is to be a light. I know that I would probably disappoint a few people and that’s Okay, I know that my fans don’t wanna hear this but guess what am never be too far away from you, trust me.

Why she quit music

The former singer went on to add that the reason she quit making music is because she needed to choose life. According Ms dee she lost herself while doing music; and instead of pretending everything was fine, she has decided to advocate for honesty. Vanessa added;

Otile Brown shares new details about life after losing both his parents

Otile Brown did not have it easy when growing up. This is because he lost his parents when he was still a young boy who was not mature enough to survive on his own.

Speaking during his interview with Jalang’o a while back, Jacob Obunga who is well known for his romantic and inspiring love music; went on to open up about his parents for the first time revealing unknown details.

His die hard already know that he was raised by his grandmother; however not many know why. However while on an interview with Jalang’o Mwenyewe; the comedian cum radio host ended up asking about Otile’s parents saying;

“You’ve never talked about your parents anywhere why? You talk about your grandma most of the time?”

Sensitive topic

Although Otile Brown never got to spend much time with his father; the singer still held on to the few memories they shared before he separated with the Otile’s mum.

Responding to the question, Otile went on to reveal that his father passed on first; then in 2006 when he was in class 5, his mum also passed on. With both of them gone, Otile was then forced to be raised by his grandmother who was often assisted by his step mum.

Although by this time he had mastered the art of surviving thanks to his older siblings; it must have been quite hard for him to understand why the universe had robbed him of his best friend. He went on to open up telling Jalang’o;

So when they broke up with my mum, yeye alienda akabase Kisumu me and my mum remained in Mombasa. He went and passed on lakini sikupata nafasi hata ya kumzika. My mum passed away in 2006 so I just grew up with my uncles and my granny and my stepmom.”

Almost 2 decades later and the RnB superstar continues to make his grandmother proud with his achievements. He is now not only known in Kenya but world wide thanks to his international fans.

Well, after 2 months of no job the former singer has bagged a new deal with Bahati as he now takes up the role of EMB manager. The young man announced this through his instagram page where he went on to write saying;

Weedom quits gospel music

His promotion comes just a few weeks after he quit making gospel music. According to him, he was now done with the petty fights which at the end of the day did not benefit him in any way. He went on to say;

Mike Sonko mocks cop who manhandled him in Voi, offers to pay his child after wife embarrassed him

;Back in 2019 Mike Sonko headlines following his dramatic arrest back in Voi; where he was roughed up by several police officers. The Nairobi governor was arrested and charged with money laundering; among other crimes which linked him to a multimillion dollar corruption scandal.

His arrest was however scandalous as he police officers roughed him up without a care in the world! A few months down the line and one of the officers who embarrassed him during the arrest has found himself in trouble with his baby mama.

As seen on a viral video shared on social media, the officer identified as retired Voi Base Commander Michael Mureithi was accused of neglecting his responsibilities by the mother of his child.

In the video, the baby mama is seen putting up a whole show why she publicly revealed how Mr Mureithi has refused to pay Ksh 300,000 for his child’s upkeep!

Sonko steps in

Having come across the video, Mike Sonko happened to recognize the officer and being a generous person; Sonko went to his facebook page where he wrote a detailed post promising to help Mr Mureithi with the money. He went on to write saying;

The Voi Base Commander who handcuffed me becomes a deadbeat dad. I do not support domestic violence. I condemn the use of violence in any relationship but pole sana my friend Mr. Mureithi the recently retired Voi Base commander who forcefully handcuffed me with two pairs of handcuffs just to board a police chopper during my arrest at Voi.

Since the officer is now retired, Sonko urged him to accept the responsibility of being a father not forgetting to add that he would help him pay the child support. He went on to add;

My humble advice to you, if the baby the woman is alleging is really yours kindly accept the responsibility it’s just normal part of life and since you are now retired, I’m willing to pay for you the 300,000/= upkeep the woman has been awarded by the children’s court.

As usual his posts never come without some petty shade; and this time around he was willing to help yet another cop who manhandled him during the arrest. He went on to conclude saying;

I have also been made to understand that one of your colleagues who also manhandled me has a kidney problem I’m as well willing to help in meeting his medical expenses.

Anerlisa Muigai is legally married to the love of her life, Ben Pol! The couple are said to have held a private wedding that saw only close friends and family attend back in Tanzania.

The two are however not just withholding details from the wedding; but also photos from the private ceremony. This is probably because they hope to keep their personal life on the low but thanks to Anerlisa; we now have a new photo of her looking dolled up on her wedding day.

As seen on the photo, it appears that Anerlisa chose to go with a nude look that left her looking like the most beautiful bride in the world! She not only had a simple look but we are guessing it cost more than anyone could imagine since can afford it; and being her wedding day, Mrs Ben Pol had no option but to stand out.

How they met

Although the two rarely share any information about their relationship; Ben Pol once opened up revealing how he met Anerlisa and how they ended up being close.

According to Ben Pol he met his wife while at a conference in Nairobi back in 2018. From then he started talking to Anerlisa and at some point got to exchange contacts. However at that time Ben Pol further did not know who the business executive was; but she on the other hand, recognized him.

“Mimi na Anerlisa tulikutana mwaka 2018 mwanzoni! Nilikuwa Kenya kikazi tukakutana kwenye Press Conference iliyoandaliwa na rafiki yake! Gospel singer Guardian Angel in mourning!

Singer Guardian and his family are in mourning after losing their grandfather!

He announced this through his Instagram page where he jotted down an emotional post announcing his papa’s death. As seen on his post, Guardian went on to reveal that his grandfather was more like a father to him as he raised him like his own son.

And since death knows no boundary,Guard and his family continue to mourn the man that brought joy and life in their family! On the caption used on the post, the singer also mentioned that 2 weeks ago they went shopping for a new suit; which his grandfather said he would be buried in when he dies!

Gone too soon

The singer also mentioned that his grandfather’s death comes barely 2 weeks after he selected the suit he would be buried in. He went on to add that his old man died just after one day after passing.

Sauti Sol fires yet another artist from Sol Generation

Sauti Sol’s lead singer Bien Aime Baraza has come out to announce yet another exit of a member from their Sol Generation music label!

Speaking about Sol Generation, Bien has once again revealed the exit of yet another member; just a few months after Crystal was kicked out of the group for unknown reasons.

According to Bien, the latest member to exit the group is Kaskazini. A few fans had already noticed the changes as the young man did not feature in Midnight Train album dropped which dropped on June 5th.

Bien who always seems to have an explanation for everything went on to say;

It’s been so difficult. We started with four, and now there are two,” he said, referring to the exit of Crystal Asige and Kaskazini. “Right now we have Nviiri and Bensoul. They are the future of Kenyan music. It’s just business, and also about meeting our needs and their needs

Crystal opens up about exiting Sol Generation

Speaking about her exit from Sol Generation; Ms Crystal told K24’s Chit Chat hosts that she had no idea why the management kicked her out! She said;

Back in November they told me that they wanted me to leave, they don’t want me to be in the group anymore and so I left. That’s literally the beginning and the end of the story.

Bien on the other hand revealed that they had a few issues here and there; making it hard to work with the female singer.

We are not working with crystal anymore and this came with a lot of complications. It was an amicable break and we are glad we gave her a platform.

Singer Habida shares emotional post after discovering lump on her breast!

Singer Habida has left many with deep thoughts after opening up about the lump she recently discovered on one of her breasts. She revealed this through her social media pages where she narrated the story in a lengthy post as seen on Instagram.

According to Habida, her doctor’s already took a sample for the biopsy which will determine whether the cells forming are cancerous. Having watched her father fight cancer a few years back; Habida did not shy off from revealing how scared she to find the lump on her breast.

Through her instagram page the former singer;

Today after a long two weeks of pondering “what the hell is in my body” I had a biopsy at #centralmiddlesexhospital Thank God for the very friendly staff because there are not many things that scare me but dang “I was scared”.

On the same post Habisa went on to narrate about her dad’s experience; but unfortunately for him, he lost the battle, but died like a soldier.

Seeing my father go through cancer was terrible, it is a terrible disease! And here I am with a lump in my breast! Lump in the name of Jesus you are benign! #breastcancer #superwoman #scared

Speaking to Massawe Jappani just recently, Bien for the first disclosed unknown information about his wedding.

Unlike what many know, Bien held a private AG wedding since he did not want something extra; luckily for him, his bride Chiki was also on board with this idea – making it easier for the singer.

He went on to mention the main reason for keeping his wedding photos private saying;

No suits, No wedding gown

About his outfit of the day, Bien revealed that he wore no suit; something that would leave fans questioning him, if he decided to upload the photos. He went on to add;

Na nikipiga picha niwekee mtandaoni, mtu ambaye anaangalia hiyo picha haelewi circumstances; haelewi contexts ya kwa nini watu wamevaa vile wamevaa. Haelewi mbona hii harusi haina Bibi harusi mwenye amevaa nguo sijui inakaa aje. Haelewi mbona Bien hajavaa suti.

He went on to add that he does not wish to have a bitter exchange with some of his shallow minded social media friends saying;

Jalang’o weighs in on Bahati and Harmonize’s beef!

Media personality Jalang’o has come out to address the ongoing beef between singer Bahati; and Harmonize that has left fans on social media talking.

Apparently Bahati and Harmonize have been beefing over an unknown issue sparked by Bahati. However judging the Konde Gang CEO’s latest move; I believe the singer got offended after Bahati called him out for being ungrateful to Diamond Platnumz.

In the post shared by Bahati, he went on to add that Harmonize’s ungrateful behavior would cost him one day: especially since he has already started signing artists under his label.

Having come across the post, Harmonize decided to respond but not in a post. Harmonize is said to have unfollowed Bahati who later on went on a rant as seen on his social media pages. Baba Heaven wrote;

As seen on the comment section, Jalang’o feels that the two may be working on a song that is set to be released soon.

The Milele FM presenter wrote;

So far, many feel that Bahati no longer has any content to serve his fans since music has not been favoring his career for months now.

His reality show has also lost some fans thanks to the Muraya’s who are currently making headlines with their adult TV show aired on NTV.

Rumor has it that there is however bad blood between these two couples; and judging from a post shared by DJ Mo a while back, it was evident to see that competition in the gospel sector is getting worse compared to secular artists.

Sailor’s Miracle baby finally addresses bisexual rumors sparked by Boondock’s Exray!

Miracle Baby aka Peter has taken his time after Exray exposed him for being gay. In a video shared by Exray on his instagram page, the gengetone singer accused Miracle of having relations with a fellow man; and to prove this, he dared Miracle to speak up if he wanted the videos shared on social media.

This topic brought about different reactions from fans and celebrities who advised the two to solve the matter privately! However these two don’t seem to be taking the advice and finally we have a response from Miracle baby.

Speaking to Kartelo on his Rieng Radio show, Miracle baby got to share his side of the story. Although it comes at a time when many assumed he opted to stay quiet following Exray’s threat; atleast we can now hear straight from the horses mouth.

Miracle hits back

Well, as expected Miracle baby denied this saying he already has 12 children with different women around; and will soon be adding more children since he is capable of it.

For him, this was just another baseless threat following their beef that has left the gengetone comminuity tensed up; as both these boys continue to escalate the beef.

When asked by Kartelo whether the rumors had any truth to it, Miracle responded by challenging his buddy to lend him his girlfriend for confirmation. He said;

Tanasha Donna recently graced Bonga na Jalas YouTube show where she shared a few unknown details about her life; now that she is a single mother.

Speaking with the Milele FM’s radio presenter, Tanasha Donna opened up about her current life as a mum; music and future plans. Having talked about her break up in previous interviews; Tanasha and Jalas did not focus much on Diamond Platnumz – since the 23 year old mum is now an independent person.

Unlike before when people referred to Tanasha as Diamond Platnumz woman; she now hopes fans will learn to embrace her as an independent artist. This is because her talent is enough proof to show that she had not been joy riding on her baby daddy’s fame.

At such a young age Tanasha Donna has been exposed to the cruel side of men she probably knew nothing about. While speaking to Jalas, Mama Naseeb mentioned that she had not been receiving any child support; however this was okay with her since her son lacks nothing at the end of the day!

Clearly this shows that Tanasha has accepted her break up with the singer; and is now focused on becoming a better person. This also means that she could not move on with whoever she wants; but that is in the future.

“Don’t keep me in your prayers!” Eric Njoka tells fans days after losing job at K24

Since exiting K24, Eric Njoka has not been okay. Well, he even admitted to this in a post shared on his page where he confessed things on his side were not okay; but all in all he does not wish to be remembered in prayers.

Eric revealed this in a post shared on his instagram page where he left many worried about his current state. Njoka was unfortunately among the celebrated journalists who lost their jobs after K24 closed down.

Through his instagram page the journalist wrote;

Thank you all for your concerns, I am not fine and won’t be for a while but I will make sure to keep smiling. Peace and don’t keep me in any prayers, they don’t work.

According to Eric Njoka, prayers no longer work and will not be helping him in anyway considering his current state. Well, having been fired at a time like this has undeniably left many caught up in difficult situations.

The rant

However Njoka has refused to keep quiet as he recent went on a rant calling out his bosses for leaving him jobless; despite the sacrifices made to keep the channel alive even without pay!

Through his live session the Mr Njoka was heard saying;

I might have stretched it a little bit and said cruel things about the CEO and the Company; and for that I felt there is so much pressure and I’m pained. so I’m not going to apologize for speaking the truth. But I’m going to apologize for is mentioning the head of State, Company CEO, and the rest I stand by; because the company is frustrating us.

He went on to add conclude saying;

It’s frustrating so many people. Some many have families, and if someone is not going to speak for them then, where I go I will regret why I never spoke for them, I did speak for them, because people are real suffering and they can’t speak it out.

Apparently this is because Ms Elsa happens to have the same style as that of Rono; however according to Elsa, she began her comedy career way before the former NRG’s presenter. The only problem is, people had not discovered her yet.

Diamond Platnumz and Zari Hassan have been keeping fans on their toes; as many expect the two to rekindle their old flame.

According to reports, the two will be facing each other 2 years after their nasty break up back in 2017. However, their meeting will involve their 2 children as – Diamond Platnumz will be seeing them 2 years after he broke up with their mum.

Alex Mwakideu is the latest victim of Edgar Obare’s exposee!

According to reports, Alex Mwakideu has been secretly seeing a radio presenter from Milele FM called Irene Barungi. As seen on the instagram posts, Edgar reached out to both presenters hoping to get a response; but unfortunately the two never responded.

Being a credible news outlet, Edgar chose not to kill the story but share some of the evidence linking Mwakideu and Barungi together.

The screenshots prove that the two might have been sleeping together. In the conversation the two are seen discussing how much they enjoy each others company especially after smoking some Marijuana.

However exposing Mwakideu left many of his fans confused on who to support between Edgar and Alex. This is probably because Mwakideu had given many hopes of finding a loyal man like him; only to realize he is no different!

Comedian DJ Shiti is getting tired of the ongoing beef and for some reason, he believes these boys are using the wrong PR to publicize whatever it is they are working on.

This comes after almost 2 weeks of Exray and Peter Miracle baby calling out each other on social media. The two Gengetone artists have exaggerated the beef to a point of washing their dirty linen in public.

Peter Miracle baby was the first one to claim that Exray was poor in bed; adding that his woman (Exray’s) needed other men to get satisfied in bed. His statement not only gave fans a reason to talk, but painted Exray in a different way many women did not expect.

Anyway, hitting back at the shameful comment, Boondocks lead artist now claims that Peter Miracle is guy. This was seen on the fellas page where he embarrassed his former friend; portraying him differently from the person we are used to.

This time around even fans agreed that Exray went too far with his words. Now that the video clip is making rounds on social media; he will be able to take back everything he said.

Miracle baby on the other hand has not replied to the accusations which also leaves us wondering whether he is afraid of the threat or what?
