I mean after years of slaying on social media; Vera has lately been proving to us that her surgeries, liposuction and implants were all a waste of money.

However just like Mzee Ojwang, comedian Mohamed Tajiri popularly also known as Mzee Makanyanga passed away on Tuesday, 27 October at his Majengo, Pumwani home.

According to the press release shared by Ken Waudo who is the chair comedians in Kenya; the late mzee passed on at the age 85 years old.
The late actor got to live his life to the fullest and now he rests in peace. The #ComediansKE Society has however gone ahead to send out messages of condolence to the family of the late Mzee Makanyanga.
At his age, we really can’t say his death will be mourned; but we can confirm that those who remember him, continue to celebrate him; and his moments with us during his lifetime.
Being a Muslim, his body will be laid to rest today at 1pm at the Kariakor Muslim Cemetery.

Blogger and former radio presenter Elodie Zone unfortunately found herself in a pretty comprising position this past weekend. As seen on some of her IG stories, the young blogger has come out accusing unnamed police men from the Westlands area of sexually harassing her.
In the posts, the blogger says she had just stepped out of a certain event which she attended with a friend. However, things took a drastic turn after 3 police men found her (Elodie) walking home; as the drunk friend she had expected to drop her home – drove off leaving her stranded.

Being past the curfew hours, of course as we know the police… this was not about to get pretty – and it didn’t! According to Elodie, the police men from the Westlands area started harassing her as they physically grabbed her inappropriately. She wrote;
Hey a lot of you have been asking what happened to me the other night. I didn’t wanna go into too much detail, but after an event in Westlands; a friend was drunk and he left me on the side of the road past curfew after a fight.

However I cannot agree with this, because unlike many believe – actually having a CS is more life threatening especially for the mother; but safe for the baby.
However just like most women, Georgina had not planned for a CS back then but due to an emergency with her pregnancy; Ms Muteti was forced to deliver her first child in the OR.
But luckily for the new baby boy, Lu – Georgina was able to have a normal Vaginal birth that she continues to pride in despite the painful experience she underwent.

The late Othuol Othuol’s body was earlier today picked from the Chiromo mortuary and was moved to the National Theatre for a short requiem service. Being a popular comedian, the service was opened to all fans, friends and family to attend as they paid their last respects.
As seen on the photos circulating on social media; it appears that indeed he was loved and adored by fans who turned out in huge numbers as they bid him goodbye. Losing him at 31 years is a painful experience especially to those who knew him at a personal level.
So far we have seen the likes of Jalang’o, Otoyo, Churchill, Butita among others attend the night vigil dedicated to the late Othuol; and surprisingly all the comedians who worked with him turned out in huge numbers.
Although the comedian left his rural home in a bus as he headed to Nairobi looking for greener pastures; his body arrives today Friday, 23rd October in a casket as his family awaits to bury him on 24th.
The late Othuol Othuol’s family has come out to share a few never seen before photos of their late son as seen on the eulogy book shared online.
According to his father Mr Omondi, Othuol did not grow up knowing the love of by his biological mother as she walked out on them many years ago. The late comedian was however raised by his step mum who saw him like her own.
Growing up, it was no secret that this young man was intelligent but at the same time a joker who kept entertaining his friends. Life however changed for him after moving to Nairobi where he perused his career in comedy.
Although Othuol Othuol brought so much joy to fans and family through his jokes; it’s quite sad to see that he passed on at a young age of 31 years.
The sad part is that his death came just a day after celebrating yet another birthday. However due to the complications caused by the tumor in his brain; the young man took his last breathe of Sunday 12th October at the Kenyatta National hospital where he had been hospitalized.

Comedian Othuol Othuol’s body is currently on the way to his rural home Ndere Alego, Siaya county; where he will be laid to rest on Saturday, 24 October.
This is after comedian Ben Maurice Onyango popularly known as Othuol Othuol lost his battle to brain tumor a few days ago. His untimely death however came at a time when many remained hopeful that he would bounce back; since he already beat TB and had ready started showing progress.
The comedian however rested on 12th October about 5.30pm on Sunday after having to deal with unbearable pain and fatigue as his body was already shutting down. According to reports, Othuol died at Kenyatta National Hospital in Nairobi; where he had been receiving treatment for the past two weeks.
At the time of his passing, the comedian had a few friends around him; but due to his struggling health – he did not get a chance to bid any goodbye.
Final resting place
After almost one year of walking in and out of hospital comedian Othuol Othuol is now in a better place at least according to the scriptures – a place with no pain.
Losing him a day after turning a year older is however a painful memory especially to those he loved and adored.
Comedian Mulamwah started off from the ground up and so far, the funny man continues to build his brand through his Instagram and YouTube pages.
However just like most comedians, Mulamwah did not have it easy while starting off in the entertainment industry. His first TV appearance was however made possible by Churchill Show which helped boost in building his current brand. And with time Mulamwah started using his IG skits and other social media platforms to make more money.
Anyway thanks to a new photo shared on his IG story; we get to understand that the fella had it rough back in the day while living in the village. This is after unveiling a never seen before photo where he is seen showing his off ‘swagger.’
Looking at the photo above, it’s only safe to say that it has taken some effort and hard work for the comedian to make it this far.
The photo has however surfaced a few months after he almost quit on career due to online criticism, and bullying from fans and fellow celebrities. But luckily for him, many stepped in to intervene by encouraging him not to pay close attention to whatever fans say.
And looking back now, I’m pretty sure he must be grateful for not giving up on himself.

Indeed this has been a tough year for comedians in the Kenyan Laugh industry as they have lost quite a number of comedians; not forgetting those who continue to silently battle with depression.
However losing Othuol Othuol has now confirmed that something has to be done in order to avoid a recurrence of what has been happening in the comedy industry.
Anyway thanks to a popular Instagram news outlet; we have a few details concerning Othuol Othuol’s dad and why he never supported his son venturing into comedy.

Unlike many know, Othuol Othuol got a B- in High school and just like any other parent; his father hoped his son would go to university and pursue a good course. However this never happened as he chose to work on his comedy career which he held on to until his last breathe.
According to the 56-year-old Mr Omondi, comedy for him sounded like a lazy man’s job but with time he came to learn the truth;
“In my mind, I saw comedy for people who were idle; who don’t want to work hard and want things very easy,”
With time Mr Omondi learnt to embrace his late son’s dream hence started supporting him; but death being cruel, it snatched him away with no warning.
When asked whether he still views comedy as a lazy man’s job; Mr Omondi said;
“No, no! In fact from that is when I knew when a child wants to… You must identify your kid’s talent and be serious with it because he started very early but I realized late. Instead of encouraging him, I was discouraging him.”
Singer Akothee could be pregnant with her 6th baby but we cannot confirm this just by looking at the video shared on IG page; where she is seen rocking a possible baby bump.
Although chances are that this is yet another pregnancy that she has been keeping on the low; one can’t help but wonder who is the lucky guy that managed to tame Akothee. For a while now, the singer has not introduced any of her lovers on social media – and being one who is an over sharer we really didn’t expect this.
However the video uploaded on her page shows what appears to be a growing bump; and since pregnancy can never be concealed we might have to give it time before we confirm this.

Socialite Amber Ray is not always wilding on social media. At times, the mother of one gets serious and shares important lessons she has learnt over the years. Probably to help school the young girls looking up to her but also motivate mums facing the same challenges she has faced while young.

Embracing single motherhood
Well after years of raising her son as a single but not so perfect on social media; socialite Amber Ray has gone ahead to share a special message with all the single mums following her on IG.
In a well detailed post, Amber celebrated these mums for choosing to raise their kids alone; and not opting for the easy way out – abortion. The light skinned lady with a figure of a goddess went on to write;
To all single mothers who decided to give birth and raise their kids alone when abortion was an option …you all simply exceptional ….May you never lack in Jesus name???? #Amberthebrand
