Pendo speaks on failed engagement, says mzungu fiancé ghosted her without a reason

Singer or rather socialite Pendo is struggling to revive her music career, now that we all know Nairobi Diaries isn’t coming back.

Okay, for those who don’t know – Pendo shot into the lime light at a very young age. Back then, she used to roll with the big fish in the entertainment industry, from radio presenters to gospel artists and of course – she too was a star!

However at the time she was known for her partying ways if not her fights. If my memory serves me right, one of her former colleagues ended up nicknaming her ‘Conje’ like the boxer – simply because Pendo couldn’t stop throwing blows and punches at her ‘enemies.’

And now I’m thinking….why didn’t she use that opportunity to grow her music? But again – she was young and not so smart.

Clears air about engagement

Anyway now that she is back, the lady recently held a candid interview sharing stories from her past. Among the stories was her engagement that failed overnight after bagging a mzungu bae.

Responding to the question below;

In February 2019, you got engaged but broke up, what was the issue?

Pendo opened up saying she too doesn’t understand why her mzungu fiancé ghosted her after he proposed. According to Pendo, bae left for his country knowing very well that she still planning for their wedding….not knowing he had other plans in mind.

To say the truth, I have never understood. After Joseph Kner engaged me, he went back to his country and I was planning a wedding. I had fit my gown and everything was ready.

Adding;

Later he denied the engagement and said we were acting and I even paid him to pretend.

But through it all – she managed to work on herself and well being hence her current happy life. The lass says she is happily dating some now and will not be making the mistake of parading him online like she did with her ex fiancé.

I’m really happy. I made the mistake of showing my man before but right now I want to keep it private.

Mmmh….let’s see how it works out for her now that she’s sober and ready to build from scratch.

“Jokes on me” Risper Faith throws shade at her small circle of fake friends

Socialite Risper Faith night just need to cut off some of her so called friends following an incident that went down this past weekend.

According to the socialite she’s always been the kind of friend who is willing to support her friends projects; however after this past weekend – she got to learn that not everybody you call a friend is truly rooting for you.

From her post, we understand that Risper had planned for a lavish intimate event allowing only close friends to attend. To her surprise – none of whom she considers as friends turned up.

Speaking about this, the mother of one uploaded a photo in the company of her husband and the only friend she currently has and captioned;

New life new friends

Before meeting husband, Brayo – Risper Faith had friends from all walks of life but after getting married and upgrading her lifestyle – of course she had to let go of some of her old friends.

Mainly because to elevate your life, sometimes you have to separate yourself…and this is what she did – however judging from the post shared above – chances are that she did not sieve all the fake friends the first reduced her circle.

But now that she see’s things abit more clearer – chances are that she might just turn to her hubby for friendship too.

Actress Jackie Matubia says her first pregnancy was well planned. She dreamt of having a complete and happy family but at the time she didn’t know vitu kwa ground huwa different (difference between dreaming and reality.)

Actually most single mums will tell you that their relationships failed immediately after getting pregnant or months after welcoming a baby. Ask Carrol Sonnie and the rest…. sane story different scripts and characters.

Well, this is what happened to Jackie Matubi and the father of her daughter. They apparently parted ways in 2019 following claims of infidelity from both parties.

Anyway – with that relationship dead and gone, Ms Matubia was lucky enough to fall in love with a colleague who now doubles up as her fiancé, Blessing (Madiba.)

Failed contraceptives

Having maintained one child for over 7 years (she turns 8 soon) proves that Jackie Matubia was in no hurry to have more kids especially judging from how the expensive kids are.

However her fate changed after meeting Madiba who managed to impregnate her despite being on a contraceptive. According to Matubia, she learnt of her pregnancy at 8 weeks, however this didn’t add up since she was already on family planning (an injection.) Which had clearly failed her

With another baby on the way – all Matubia could think of is her deals; and projects which she knew she could lose due to her pregnancy. This brought down mixed reactions at first but with a supportive partner like Madiba – she slowly accepted the new journey to motherhood. She revealed this in one of her YT Videos confessing;

Between my last period and the time of conception, when I was getting pregnant I was on family planning (an injection). The doctor told me I was 8 weeks pregnant, I froze when the doctor told me that.

I did not know whether to laugh, cry or shout. Zahri’s (1st born) was something I had planned for. In this second pregnancy, I wasn’t ready because our relationship was just in the ‘honeymoon’ period.”

Nkirote who is popularly known from TV show The Real House Helps of Kawangare was recently blessed with her first born child – something she remains grateful for.

Being a first time mum for her has brought nothing but good memories that she continues to carry everyday of her life. As seen on a post shared on Mother’s Day just recently – the mum in town showed appreciation to her newborn daughter for making her a mum as she wrote;

My 1st Mother’s Day and am super grateful for this beautiful girl that made me a mom.

Having lost her mum while still young, Nkirote says, now more than ever she appreciates her mum for the sacrifices she made just to give her a good life. As a new mum – she can relate with the kind of love a mum has towards her own children.

I still celebrate the woman who sacrificed a lot for me to be here even as she continues resting with the angles.

Happily married

Unlike her former colleagues who continue to grace our TV screens with new projects, Nkirote seems to have graduated to a family woman now that she is married.

And no…she’s not married to Crotus from TRHK.

Of course with a baby added to the equation, the actress might just need time before she makes a comeback to the limelight. But again, looking at how fast the film industry is growing – question will she be quick to adjust when she’s finally off baby duty?

Pendo opens up about her struggle with cocaine addiction

Nairobi Diaries actress Pendo who doubles up as a singer recently held a candid interview opening up about her wild past.

Well, for those who don’t know – Pendo was the wild card of the reality show and like you’ve seen in foreign reality shows, this lady brought all that drama to a local show.

The actress was not only entertaining fans with lavish lifestyle and scandals but also with fights as she was known to pick arguements left right and center. What however we didn’t know is that the whole time she’d been high on drugs that would bring this crazy side out.

Pendo opens up about her addiction

During her interview, the singer who is currently pushing her latest music project was asked;

You have been accused of using cocaine and being a member of LGBTQ is it true?

According to Pendo, she has always been straight unlike what many believe but all in all has nothing against the LGBTQ community.

I don’t have anything against the LGBTQ community but I’m straight.

The other bit about her addiction to cocaine, the lass admitted to having abused the drug but not for long. From what Pendo revealed is that the she was introduced to the drug by a friend and being curious – she tried it just to see what it felt like.

About using cocaine, things happen in the industry and you try things. That person who said it probably just saw me trying and she decided to tell the world but she tried it as well.

However short the addiction was, Pendo says it drained her pockets so fast that she had to quit. She went on to add that unlike the hype it’s given – cocaine to her is just an expensive and meaningless drug.

I realised cocaine was not for me and I decided to stop. I was wasting money, it was an expensive and meaningless habit. It didn’t add anything in my life or help my creativity.

Jaymo Ule Msee is one among top content creators running the entertainment industry in Kenya. He is popularly known for his YT videos which have seen him grow in the industry over the past years.

Although he doesn’t consider himself as a comedian – he sure does have qualities of one. Anyway thanks to his content creation, Jaymo has managed to bag deals with different brands including Odi Bets.

Well – thanks to one of these brands (Odi Bets) Jaymo had an embarrassing moment in Tz where he had travelled for businesses purposes. From what we heard is that Jaymo was part of the team set to unveil a new partnership between Odi Bets and Wasafi Bet last year.

Jaymo snubbed

Seeing that both betting companies are popular in East Africa; a grand event was held for the partnership hence attracting the presence of singer Diamond Platnumz.

With this, Jaymo saw an opportunity to finally meet the bongo superstar; and just like any fan – Jaymo tried extending his hand to Diamond who kept ignoring him.

Unfortunately taking photos with the singer also seemed a-bit hard – especially with Diamond Platnumz acting uninterested. At the time what Jaymo didn’t know is that all this was being captured on video… a clip that was later used to troll him on social media.

Many laughed off at how desperate he appeared but at the same time others applauded him for his persistence… I mean, he walked out with a selfie and he became talk of town right?

Admits he was ignored

Well, at the time Jaymo avoided addressing this until recently during an interview with Iko nini where he admitted that Diamond snubbed him.

According to him, Diamond Platnumz ignoring anything since all he wanted was a photo to present to his Odi bets bosses; since this was part of the deal that saw him travel to Dar Es Salaam.

As much as many wanted to drag him down with the ‘embarrassing videos’ at the end of the day, he was the one smiling at his fat Cheque.

Well looks like we will have to continue discussing Stivo Simple boy and his ex girlfriend, Pritty Vishy.

However despite all the attention they’re getting, seems like only one party is benefiting leaving the other embarrassed and feeling played. This has been confirmed by Pritty who has opened up about hurt feelings following ugly trolls from both her fans and those supporting her ex, Stivo Simple.

Her cry comes just a few hours after Stivo alleged to have dumped her for trying to ‘force‘ him to get intimate with her. Wrong move.

With such information the freshi baridi hitmaker openly handed his ex to social media scavengers who had been looking for a reason to pick on Pritty.

Pritty fed up

With Stivo claiming he walked out because Pritty was pushing for sex – the lady has been dealing with nasty trolls from fans and now she says she’s hurt.

In a post shared on her page, the lady wrote:

Now am in pain but at the same time am happy Because after all I just know I gat me no one else Does….Kenyans forget so fast how at first they used to say how bold and brave I am..for standing strong then now am the bad one…all the trolls on me with no one to express how bad I feel every time it hurts yes you all think its clout which is a good thing….

Again let’s not forget that the new management has Stivo acting like the a boy. It started with him dumping Pritty for his Mombasa based girlfriend and now, he is trash talking about his ex forcing intimacy.

For this reason, Pritty went on to say;

So even after Mulamwah pulled his last stunt trying to convince the public that Keilah Oyando is his kid – looks like he is still holding back the child support.

This was indirectly revealed by baby mama, Carrol Sonnie while speaking to journalists during the launch of her charity project in Buruburu aimed at inspiring, nurturing and training single mums.

Well having tasted been dumped by baby daddy immediately after giving birth – looks like Carrol Sonnie not only had to deal with PPD but also had to a nurse a heartbreak.

However judging from how she carried herself on social media after the breakup- we can tell that Mulamwah May have been in this relationship alone – the entire time.

With her not showing emotions or acting bothered – seems that baby daddy is also letting her handle everything by herself. Well mostly because she shaved their daughter’s head – knowing very well that Mulamwah’s culture only permits the fellas mother (Keilah’s grandma) to shave off the baby first hair.

So having done that meant the baby is not his. Apart from that we also understand Mulamwah last saw his daughter when she was only 3 months and since then – he’s been pulling disappearing acts on her or has been denied access.

But until then – Carrol May have to continue raising her baby girl on her own; something she says is tough especially when playing both mummy and daddy.

Speaking about her experience as a single mum, the lady told journalists;

I wouldn’t lie that it is easy, it has been tough. It has not been easy because I have to play both the role of a mother and a father. Even when life is tough I must go out there and look for means to provide for my baby.

Weuh – I guess the Wazee haven’t yet reached to an agreement as to how Mulamwah and Sonnie will have to raise Keilah.

Sarah Kabu doesn’t look like the type that clubs or rather – the type that knows how to have fun without limits. Judging from her appearance – let’s just say she looks like the perfect wife material and a good mum to her kids.

Don’t get me wrong – these qualities are perfect – perfect in that she has cards everyman (even those with slay queen wives) admire and secretly wish their wives had.

Oh boy child! Lady said to be Miracle Baby’s 10th baby mama comes out clean – says she was paid to fake pregnancy

Mugithii singer Miracle baby who was gengetone’s Sailors lead singer is currently making headlines for all the wrong reasons. Well, maybe apart from the fact that he can really write and perform good Mugithii music, his other strength is that he makes babies everywhere!

To many women, having a man with different kids from different baby mamas would be a red flag but not for Carol Katrue. For her, boyfriend Peter Miracle baby is just doing what God asked and that is filling the earth.

Well with this word has it that 24 year old allegedly has about 10kids and according to Katrue – he takes care of all of them. However a while back a certain young girl by the name of Bree (Brenda Wambui) came out to accuse the singer of impregnating her 7 months ago.

Get this. Apparently, Bree was paid Ksh 3500 to lie about the pregnancy. Yes 3500 which she says was to help her family.

Corazon Kwamboka saw a hard 2020 especially after she was linked to a romantic relationship with Frankie Just Gym It.

At the time corazon had just moved up the rank as the gymnast’s new girlfriend – months way before he called it quits with first baby mama, Maureen Waititu.

Being media personalities handling a breakup on social media – of course both Maureen Waititu and Frankie put up a messy split; and rumor has it that their issues are yet to be resolved in order for them to coparent.

From what we know is that since the breakup Frankie no longer has access to his two older boys; but again fans believe that his stunt of having his ex and sons moved out from an apartment belonging to Frankie’s mum is what made everything else worse.

Content creator Carrol Sonnie has unveiled her latest photos and a video shared on her Instagram hoping to push a new project she’s been working on for the past few weeks.

From what we’ve seen is that the project aims at inspiring, nurturing and training single mums. Well, after months of being one – looks like Ms Sonnie is now willing to use her experience to inspire women who’ve been in the same position as hers.

Well – judging from the comments, most of the people felt the new mum should probably spend more time in therapy to work on herself, especially after seeing how bad her relationship with Mulamwah ended. Maybe because a broken person can’t fix another until they themselves are mentally healthy.

Weight loss raising eyebrows

Apart from this, there are those who couldn’t help but notice how petite Carrol Sonnie has since become after giving birth.

Well it’s not like she had a big body to begin with but during her pregnancy and the first few months after birth – we all saw how healthy she looked with a little flesh here and there.

However 7 months down the line and Carrol Sonnie is back to looking like abit too skinny, something that has worried her fans. There are those who openly asked about the weight loss, while others concluded this was a result of the stress she’s been through so far.

Singer Jovial has not been having it easy for the past few weeks. Well, she’s been dealing with an obsessive fan stalking her every move, and before this could even settle – she’s back to dealing with trolls from Netizens.

The said trolls were a result of a viral video of her performing for birthday boy, Rashid Abdalla, who appeared captivated by her vocals and dancing moves – before wifey, Lulu Hassan stepped in to dance with her man.

Unfortunately this stunt resulted to mixed feelings. There are fans who feel Lulu Hassan may have felt ‘jealous’ watching her man get entertained by another woman, while others feel that they were all having fun. Really nothing serious.

Grace Ekirapa responds to netizens worried about her keeping a dog around newborn daughter

Grace Ekirapa is the latest mum in town and judging from her social media posts, looks like she’s really enjoying motherhood and unlike most new mums – she looks pretty much well too rested.

Anyway with her back on her feet so fast, Grace Ekirapa and husband Pascal Tokodi have been updating fans about their new life as parents. Mostly they share videos with their newborn and firstborn Fur baby, Ace who is their dog.

From the videos we’ve seen so far, both Pascal and Grace allow their fur baby to play and even keep an eye on their newborn AJ. However a few fans on their comment section feel that these new parents are exposing their newborn to too much fur which may lead to respiratory illness.

Not worth it!

Actually most moms couldn’t help but mention how irresponsible these two youngins are – adding that some of these boujee stunts done for the sake of social media will one day catch up with them.

However according to Grace Ekirapa, her baby girl AJ is safe and no one needs to worry about her health or respiratory system.

This is because before having an actual baby, she first got a fur baby and was educated on how to handle one. Apparently having Ace around baby AJ is not harmful since fur doesn’t cause asthma but triggers. Same to dust and powders.

Addressing the worried fans, Ekirapa said;

Before I got a dog, I knew I would get a baby after some time.

Adding;

This is coz if we do the other way round, the dog might not be able to relate with the baby well. The dog does not feel threatened that they are competing for attention for the territory. The dog already knows that is its territory. So you are bringing the child and introducing them to your dog.

Being one who had struggled with allergies whenever around dogs, Ekirapa says that they still got Ace – and after sometime – they disappeared.

Also they had already done their research before allowing their fur baby around baby AJ. So for those who are worried, new mum assures you that she’s got this!

It is not that we are ignorant, but we asked all those questions. People should stop being too paranoid about this.

Pritty Vishy reveals how she became famous overnight

With Stivo simple boy making headlines with his Freshi baridi slogan, his ex girlfriend Pritty Vishy on the other hand is also trying to make a living with her new found fame.

So far we believe that she’s working with a certain online shop dealing with women’s clothings – and having market the items for them has also given her more exposure.

However before the fame and money – Pritty Vishy says she was just another ordinary girl who was still in school. She revealed this in a post aimed at explaining how she became a celebrity overnight.

Well according to her, she owes her current celebrity status to Mungai Eve who was the first ‘journalist’ to reach out to her. In a detailed post Pritty wrote;

Okay, I know it’ll take y’all a minute to understand her post – but from what I’m getting is that Mungai Eve reached out to her while she (Pritty) was in class for a Swahili lesson.

Ivy Namu has been hearing things about herself on social media making her wonder where the rumors are coming from. However I guess her protruding belly is what has fans saying she is prego!

Well despite knowing this is the rumor making rounds online about her, Ms Namu still hasn’t confirmed whether she’s pregnant on not. Responding to a fan asking the same question, she said;

This question is very funny& not in a haha way. With all the factors surrounding pregnancy, surely it should be up to the peeps involved to share the news at their own time? Idk I find it impolite to ask such a personal question.

And just like that she made her fans more curious about the rumors – while others felt like she may have just confirmed this indirectly.

Dad girl goals! Tedd Josiah over the moon as daughter joins school

By now we all know who Tedd Josiah is and why he remains a favorite to many women out here because – he has proven to be a responsible dad – something we don’t see everyday.

As you know, he was left behind with 3 month old baby after his late wife, Regina Katar passed on after developing some health issues after her delivery. Painful experience for both Tedd Josiah and his daughter – but through it all they’ve managed to keep going.

With his wife dead, Tedd Josiah took it upon himself to raise his daughter and paused his love life – just to dedicate his attention to Jameela Wendo. So far we have a seen a love like no other between this two, which brings to why 52 year old Tedd Josiah feels proud of the far they’ve since come.

Finally in school

Having home schooled his girl for the past 4 years, baby Wendo just joined school for the first time at 5 years – something Tedd Josiah takes pride in.

Sharing the good news through his social media pages, Tedd Josiah shared a photo of his princess in full school uniform to which he captioned;

BOOM!!! Just like that they are out of ur hands, wanting to see the world, looking forward to friends, swimming, school and other activities that don’t involve you!!! ???????????????? We’ve successfully transitioned from infant, baby, toddler, home school and now we are in a REAL SCHOOL!!!
Time flies

Of course he hasn’t been raising the girl by himself but through the help of aunties and uncles who have committed themselves to giving Jameela a complete family.

Thanking them for the hours they’ve put in all these years, Tedd wrote;

Sheila Mwanyigha remembers late dad in moving tribute on his birthday

Media personality Sheila Mwanyigha must have been a daddy’s girl judging by how she carries herself and of course how she speaks highly of him. To her, he was not just an amazing dad but a best friend she could confide in, but unfortunately death snatched him away from her.

However, death being part and parcel of life – Sheila has been forced to adjust to not having her dad around, but still feels his presence everywhere she goes.

In a new post aimed at marking his birthday Ms Mwanyigha wrote down a long post dedicated to her papa where she wrote;

Hey Dad!
It’s another year without you here. As usual lots has happened! I could tell you about the Pandemic, but that would take all day and you’d think I came up with the greatest movie script ever! Even I still don’t believe what the world has been through!

Holding on to memories

Having been her closet relative, it’s obvious to see that she continues to struggle with his loss which explains why she writes to him like he were here.

On the same post she went on write to her daddy telling him about his grand kids and how much they still miss now that they’re growing up a little bit too fast. She also remembered his birthday saying;

Mum remembered your birthday! I used to be the one who remembered everyone’s day but Mum’s really great at it now and she sent me a message for you yesterday. Mark, is well Mark and his two girls are now in school. Dad you wouldn’t believe how brave Ama was on her first day at school. Confident, smart and ready to rule. I think just like Ami, she’ll be super great at anything she chooses to do.

Doing just fine

Updating him on her current life, Sheila Mwanyigha informed her late daddy that she’s still trying to figure out life, which is not easy and still has a lot of unanswered questions but all in all is pushing hoping one everything will make sense.

I’m alright and figuring out this thing called life. I still have so many questions, and it’s not always easy. By the way thanks for the Nandi flame flowers you occasionally leave on my car- the one while I was driving, made me jump, but I really did need to pay attention!

Media personality cum influencer Makena Njeri is proud of sexuality. Unlike other members of the LGBTQ members struggling to accept themselves – Makena to owned the person they have always been and that is – a member of the LGBTQ.

For this article – we shall refer to Makena as they or them as requested since she does not identify herself with a specific gender – male or female.

Anyway in a detailed post shared on Makena Njeri’s page – they explain their main reason of outing their sexual orientation hoping to become a gateway to all people being loved for who they are – and just as they are. In a detailed post Makena wrote;

I have made myself vulnerable and made my life an open book. All this so that my experiences can be the gateway to all people being loved for who they are and just as they are.

Adding;

No one is superior and no one should be treated differently. I have done interviews where my life experiences have resonated with so many and because of my journey people have felt a sense of belonging. Trust me I also belong because of ya’ll ♥️. I have openly talked about my love experiences and celebrated love loudly so that others can gain the courage to do the same and to feel free to love who they love like everyone else.

Aim is to Fight for LGBTQ

Having seen how the system works in Africa, the activist says they’ve had good and bad days if not the worst. This is because they’ve been forced to walk on streets fighting for their rights, spent days in police stations – just to see the LGBTQ community accepted and given equal rights.

However despite it all – the pain, humiliation, disrespect and killings – they continue hang in there hoping one day society will accept them for who they are – humans just like you and I.

I have walked on the streets with other activists to fight for the rights of other people. I have had sad days when everything didn’t make sense at all breaking in every possible way. Spent days in police stations trying to make sense of it all while still being patient enough to educate the system. I have had beautiful days where we all felt accepted and free to live.I am constantly letting vulnerability to take over my existence so that because of my journey we can accelerate acceptance and have all round love in society without discrimination and hate. I do my advocacy through my daily life experiences shared with the world.

Speaking during an interview with Lynn Ngugi about a week ago, Olive opened up about her abusive marriage, cheating husband; and why she never spoke of her marital woes immediately after the divorce.

Although Olive says her ex husband was something like a villain disguised as a super amazing man – she still couldn’t bring herself to leaving him despite the everyday fights.

Just like everything that has a beginning and an end – Olive finally gathered strength to leave a few months after their grand wedding. Close friend Catherine Kamau apparently housed her for a few months – and this is what solidified their friendship.

Well, having Catherine step in during the hardest times of her life Olive (Alisha) bonded with the lady to a point that they even became sisters.
