Amber Ray breaks silence hours after hospitalization

Amber Ray has spoken out publicly for the first time following her hospitalization announced by hubby, Jimal.

As seen on a post shared by the Somali bae; Amber is seen laying in a hospital bed and from the way she looks – nobody could have assumed that she had overdosed.

In a funny-like statement on Instagram, the socialite assured her fans that this was temporary; but again confirmed that she had indeed overdosed on something ~~assuming its liquor~~ that forced her to get medical attention. Through her page Ms Faith aka Amber Ray wrote;

Msijali wadau Niko poa, ile kitu mimi utumia ndio kidogo nili overdose but @akuhnairobi wamei dilute ????

Since Amber’s hospitalization was announced by Jimal Rohosafi; we would like to assume that he was present when his lovely Kamba wife over-dozed.

And being birds of a feather; I’m pretty sure this is not the first time either of them is rushing to hospital for some quick dilution. But thank God your favorite socialite is back on her feet; but let’s wait and see how this coming weekend goes.

Awards Galore! TV 47 Bags Several Awards at KUZA 2021 Awards, Beats Rival Stations

TV47 has emerged among the big boys in the TV industry in the just concluded Kuza Awards, scooping four awards, beating some of the oldest TV stations in the country.

TV47 won the Compliance Award Commercial FTA TV and was the first runners up in the Upcoming Broadcaster Award TV and Copyright Award TV categories.

The station, which is considered as being in the upcoming category, also won the Uzalendo Award, which was awarded to all licensed and working broadcasters.

TV 47 is owned by Cape Media, a firm established by Mt Kenya University founder Prof. Simon Gicharu.

The Local Content Award FTA TV- Overall Local Content quota was won by Inooro TV, followed by Kameme TV and Ebru TV.

Pregnancy is a beautiful journey but the real ones will be honest and tell you that it’s actually harder than it looks.

From morning sickness, to mood swings and worse swollen feet or face…can it get worse? Anyway what can we say apart from appreciate mothers for the superheroes they are.

Away from that we understand that Mwenda Macharia will soon be welcoming her second baby; 7 years after she was blessed with J Blessings son – and from the look of things…we might have another baby boy on the way.

Although Mwende has not revealed her unborn baby’s gender; we believe that the blue is an indication that the baby she is carrying is a boy – and yes we are happy for her.

Huddah Njoroge wants to get married. Upuus! I mean she has been saying this for the past 4 years and I’m beginning to feel that it’s either she can’t give up the streets; or has not found a man willing to marry her. That is considering her past.

Well, look at Vera Sidika who toured around the world, dined with the richest and most famous people; only to end up marrying local singer Brown Mauzo…but why we are not hating! At least she snatched herself a lifetime partner and is now spoiling him with all money can buy.

Anyway back to Huddah… the petite Somali socialite claims that it’s time to settle down; and I agree. However her reasons for settling down are not different from those of a slay queen fighting fatigue from all the years of running in and out of clubs.

Anyway, word making rounds on social media is that Alikiba and wife Amun’s recently welcomed a bouncing baby boy – which explains Amina’s absense on social media.

According to gossip monger Juma Lokole- his boss’s rival (Alikiba) is now a father of two boys; and to prove this, the fella shared a screenshot showing congratulatory post from one of their mutual close friend. The post read;

New details about Mr Seed’s alleged affair have made its way out online. This time, his said ex former lover Swabrina debuted her grown baby bump online; confirming that she is indeed expectant.

In the post on instagram, Swabrina appeared to be quite heavy as she put her hand on the growing baby bump and went on to caption the post;

Mr Seed’s affair allegation emerged earlier last week after the said girl (Swabrina) outed their affair through Edgar Obare’s page.

According to the lass, all she wanted was to expose Mr Seed for trying to force her to get an abortion; the first attempt failed and clearly he wasn’t ready for a second born.

As seen on several screenshots, it appears that Mr Seed knew about the pregnancy from the word go; and now that his relationship with first baby mama, Nimo Gachuiri was going to get affected – the only way to solve this was to talk Swabrina out of keeping the baby.

Rapper Wangechi criticizes Christianity , says it’s a scam!

Rapper Wangechi who is popularly known for hit song sana sana featuring Scar Mkadinali; among others songs has been keeping a low profile for years now.

Probably because Wangechi needed sometime off the media; following the trauma she suffered after a tragic accident that saw her lose best friend – Tiona Wangechi.

Since then, rapper Wangechi changed and unlike her old self – she now prefers to stay off the raider; a move that seen her music career slowly fade away.

For some reason others expected her to jump into music; but this time around as a gospel industry rapper but unfortunately; it appears that the accident not only affected her music but also her faith; speaking about the gospel industry a while back – Ms Wangechi said;

Some people were also expecting me to do a ‘Kanye West’ and get back to music recording while I was injured so they could feel me through the pain. I just have my own plans I have things I want to do for myself first. And no offense but I find everything in the gospel industry fake

Jemutai had been trying to speak-out about her single mum situation for months; but being a funny lady – who would have thought that the hints she was throwing on social media were about her?

Well, Ghafla recently came across a post the comedian shared in March talking about hardships of being a single mum. According to Jemutai, having to deal with a child as a single parent is just too hard handle.

She went on to point out things like sick days that literally drain a mum to the core; and not forgetting the fatigue since one has to play the role of both parents and still the provider.

Well, judging from her post, it’s clear to see that at this point in life; the comedienne was clearly fed up with her former lover who doubles up as the baby daddy.

Through her gram the mother of two went on to hint about her situation saying;

They say the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree and yes, we now believe this especially after coming across Primroses; aka Mike Sonko’s wife’s mum…or rather in short Sonko’s mother in law.

Thanks a photo shared by Primrose a few days ago we finally got a chance to meet the beautiful woman who birthed former Nairobi Governor’s wife. To caption the post, Sonko’s wife introduced her mum by writing;

Family drama! Why Esma Platnumz publicly blasted her step-sister, Queen Darleen in new post

Okay okay….since Diamond Platnumz is not impregnating any new women for us to take about; then I guess we shall focus on his two sisters who have apparently been beefing for a while now.

Well, a few months ago rumor had it that Esma and Queen Darleen we’re beefing over a certain guy; and just when we thought the drama was a just a rumor – Esma missed out on Darleen’s baby shower.

This not only confirmed that their is bad blood but also proved that Mama Dangote was fed up with ex husband, Mr Abdul’s family; and the only way she could hit back is by using daughter (Esma) to fight her battles.

Although Darleen has been refuting rumors claiming there is beef between her and Esma; it appears that she is on her own since clearly Esma wants to make this public as possible.

Comedian Hamo must have finally come to his senses after the DNA test revealed that he was indeed the father of Jemutai’s two kids. For some reason, we understand that he may have had his doubts about the kids – but hii ni Nairobi; but at the same time – wasn’t it obvious that the kids took after his forehead and facial expressions?

Anyway his doubts pushed him to a point of neglecting the handsome baby boy (photocopy) and his adorable baby girl that we cannot seem to get over. According to Jemutai, the last visit saw Hamo show up with two Oreos…oh boy and this was around 2AM in the morning.

Well any mum in Jemutai’s shoes would have done the same exact thing; but the good thing is that she maintained her anger and chose to focus on her babies – and look things are now working out in her favor.

Since the story went viral – and the internet never forgets; the funny man through his detailed apology shared on IG also wrote a small section dedicated to his kids.

This is because they will one day learn about their dad’s mistake; and having caused so much pain in both their lives and there mum’s the professa apologized by saying;

Mike Sonko’s second born daughter unveils photos of handsome man warming her bed

By now Mike Sonko’s daughters have reached the legal age where they can date and introduce their men to fans on social media. His eldest daughter, Saumu Mbuvi has turned her private life into everybody’s business – but who are we to complain.

After nasty breakup with Ben Gatu – Saumu Mbuvi moved on (about 2 years later) moves on with Senator Loitiptip; but as the story goes – this also ended in premium tears. But si ni life?

Away from Saumu and Sandra Mbuvi who are well known on social media; the Mbuvi’s have another sister ‘Salma’ who has managed to stay low key for a few years after announcing about her mum’s illness on social media. For some reason, Salma seems quite different from her sisters; as she prefers staying low key than publicizing her life.

“Mungu ni mwema” Prof Hamo ready to patch up thing with baby mama, Jemutai after their nasty fall out

Prof Hamo almost watched his career go down the drain after baby mama, Jemutai exposed him for being a dead beat dad. The two low key former lovers for a minute entertained fans by washing their dirty linen in public; but truth is – fans appreciate the fact that Jemutai wasn’t shy to open up about her struggles with the kids.

With her story out, comedian Hamo was forced to do the right thing; but just like deadbeat dads – he had to make it hard for the baby mama. According to Jemutai, her baby daddy had to ask for a DNA test in order to make sure the money he was giving out was going to his kids and not another man’s child/children. Just wow.

Not quite sure why he opted for such a low move – especially with blogger and the public following; but oh well – his smart move ended up backfiring on him again.

Anyway after taking a week or so to reflect on his actions; the comedian has finally issued an apology to baby mama and the public as seen on his latest post.

Although fans claim that Jemutai deserves a better apology than the one issued earlier; let’s just say – she will have to work with this one for now. In the detailed post, Hamo wrote;

Life has a way of forcefully instilling wisdom into someone. A lot happened, so much was said, both positive and negative in the same breath. If an apology is to be made then it should be soul searched, true, and from deep down.

According to Hamo, he realized about his mistakes and for this reason decided to own up to them. In the same post, comedian Hamo went on to say;

Apologies are made when someone realizes and owns up to their mistakes. I had to go back to family and make good with them otherwise all this would have been a facade.

We are patching up things, not there yet but headed there by His grace.

As for those who stepped in to advise Hamo and help both him and Jemutai settle their issues in peace, Hamo had this to say;

Kabi Wa Jesus threatens baby mama by demanding full custody of the daughter he publicly denied

Okay is it just me or Kabi Wa Jesus ego is just on another level?

Well, even after he publicly denied the daughter he had with his cousin, Ciku; word has it that the man of God is now threatening to take full custody of this same daughter, Abby.

This was revealed by Kabi’s cousin who lives in the states; and of course the same one that outed this story – through blogger Edgar Obare. According to this cousin, Kabi Wa Jesus is using his powerful lawyers to threaten Ciku ( the cousin baby mama); since they know a couple of powerful people here and there.

With the likes of Kabi’s showing their massive support to Kabi and Milly wa Jesus; fans can understand why the deadbeat dad remains confident about this child custody issue.

It is not however our place to judge or support Kabi’s family or the baby mama; but come on! Clearly the Wa Jesus family is not practicing what they preach through their religion; and for some reason – this ministry is clearly a money making business.

Mulamwah’s girlfriend flaunts grown baby bump at 6 months (Photos)

Comedian Mulamwah and girlfriend Carol Sonnie are excited about their second pregnancy; and so far – everything seems to be going as planned.

From what we know is that this is the second pregnancy the couple is announcing on social media; years after losing the first one due to stress caused by trolls from online fans. Speaking about this a while back Mulamwah said;

I once posted Carrol Sonie (his partner) while in a hospital bed, we had just lost our baby at 3 months following stress after being trolled online. I have never been the same since.

However now that both her and Mulamwah have grown thick skin and are able to handle criticism; the two cannot help but flaunt their happiness/baby bump on social media.

So far Sonnie is 22 weeks pregnant which is equivalent to 6 months; meaning the baby will be here in 2 or 3 months from now. Flaunting the grown baby bump, Mulamwah’s girlfriend captioned her latest post;

First Miscarriage

Speaking about her miscarriage, Ms Sonnie opened up for the first time revealing how her man’s fans; pushed her into depression that led to the loss of their unborn baby. In an interview held a while back the lass said;

I remember when I told Mulamwah about the news and he was just depressed. He couldn’t even control himself. The same happened to me, I broke down each and every time. Every time I saw a baby I would cry, it was that bad.

The same miscarriage also led to their untimely break up; but the good things is that they managed to sort out their issues and so far so good!

For years DK Kwenye Beat has been trolled for his body weight; and for some reason – he kept ignoring until a while back when he embarked on a new fitness journey.

His recent pictures show a lot of visible progress, and his fans have been quick to congratulate him for taking such good care of his body.

DK Kwenye Beat himself seems proud of what he has accomplished as well, and while the artist did not say much in the comments under his photos; it was clear that he was in a good place in his head. He captioned one of the photos;

Now that DK is a father and a husband – the young man clearly has no choice but to put his people first; and this means – cleaning out his old eating habits and embarking on a healthier lifestyle.

Since the birth of his daughter, the fella has also been maintaining a low profile; and while his friends i.e Mr Seed drown in scandals – DK is busy being a father and husband to his family.

There is nothing worse than mum guilt. It can literally eat you up alive – but again, motherhood is a journey that most women learn to adopt naturally.

This past weekend politician cum lawyer Karen Nyamu got to open up about her second pregnancy; and from what she says – she too hard struggles like a first time mum; especially since it took her 5 years before adding another after her daughter was born.

According to miss Nyamu, her son Sam Jnr stopped bonding with her at 3 months. By bonding we mean ‘breastfeeding’ which is the best way a mother can connect with her newborn baby.

Why son quit breastfeeding at 3 months

However, Sam Jnr apparently got hooked to baby formula since the politician had to resume with work after the 3 months maternity leave. Speaking about this, the politician said;

“At some point, before two months, some things needed my attention. My baby was introduced to formula very early. In the midst, he started experiencing colic and so we majored on giving him formula milk. By the time I was analysing my diet to stop the colic, my baby refused to breastfeed.”

Mum guilt

Just like most mums, the thought of not bonding with her baby boy not only broke her; but left her with mum guilt. She went on to add;

“It is so heartbreaking for a mother coz sometimes when your baby cries and you breastfeed them, they are sorted. I have to look for other tactics. I feel there is so much I am missing. I feel like there is a bond that is broken.

However these days Nyamu says she is using other tactics to fix her relationship with son;

These days I try as much as possible to sleep with him in my bed. That is how I bond with him.”

Okay, we get it that Zari Hassan and Wema Sepetu will never get along; but hey, it’s been 5 years since their crazy drama that involved Bongo singer Diamond Platnumz – are they not tired? But who are women!

Anyway last week we had Zari blast Wema Sepetu in a comment where she trolled the Bongo actress for the weight loss; and for some reason – Ms associated the sudden weight loss to lack of food. Ouch.

It’s Ramadahan na natoa msada. She could use some free food, naona kabakisha kichwa tu. Iyo njaa, let her eat some food, she will be fine.

Well… Zari being one who savagely pays back at those bad mouthing her; clearly she did not leave any room for Wema to clap back.

According to Wema Sepetu, she is now fed up with the insults and shady beef people (Zari) keep dragging her into. For this reason the lass concluded her post saying;

“I was bleeding” Karen Nyamu shares unknown details about difficult pregnancy with Samidoh’s baby (Video)

Politician cum lawyer Karen Nyamu has had her share of drama on social media; especially after baby daddy Samidoh chose to stick to his first wife; leaving Ms Nyamu with title of a baby mama.

However, Samidoh’s decision to dump the politician – somehow cost him; and for some reason he was forced to issue an apology to his fans for cheating on his wife; but hey, it’s never that serious.

Since then Ms Nyamu seems to have earned the title of a socialite (too much drama) and we can’t help but keep up with her; especially since she shares unknown details about her relationship with the Mugithii singer.

Details on low key pregnancy

Speaking recently during an interview with Picha clear, Ms Nyamu revealed that she got pregnant after 2 weeks of dating Samidoh.

However just like most pregnancies – she too had her own struggles i.e morning sickness, unnecessary cravings, loss of appetite; but the worst part is after she started spotting in the first trimester.

Well, it’s known that bleeding is red flag to all pregnant women; and after seeing the blood, Ms Nyamu panicked as she knew that chances of losing the baby were really high. During the interview the mother of 2 said;

Apart from nausea…I didn’t have much

My first trimester was okay. I was nauseated, I didn’t have appetite and I didn’t know what to eat…chicken. But I didn’t want to eat a lot. I remember that time we’re on lockdown and this challenge – don’t rush wa going on too much. So I associate that song with nausea.

She went on to add

Apart from nausea… I remember I had an incident of bleeding and I had to call my doctor who put me on a hormone progesterone’ which I had to use till the end of 1st trimester to hold the baby.

The heat in both Saumu Mbuvi’s kitchen and that of Aeedah Bambi is just too hot; but problem is none of them wants to raise the white flag!

Well, these two besties no longer see eye to eye due to a man they both like; but in Saumu’s defense – her friend stole her baby daddy and the man she was hoping to settle down with in the near future. But oh! This is Nairobi.

Anyway the two former friends have lately been attacking each other on social media; all because of Senator Loitiptip who dumped Saumu Mbuvi for Aeedah Bambi – the woman he claims to love.

Aeedah Bambi is living the good life courtesy of her latest catch, Senator Loitiptip who is currently dating her. The two allegedly got involved while the senator was still dating former Nairobi’s Governor Mike Sonko’s daughter – Saumu Mbuvi.

Of course this led to drama between the three parties; but after Loitiptip came out to claim his new lady, Aeedah Bambi – then Saumu automatically lost her chance with baby daddy.

However this could not end without some drama coming from Saumu Mbuvi; who also has her share of relationship drama with her first baby daddy, Ben Gatu – who allegedly left her for unknown reasons a few years back.

Don’t you just hate break ups? They bring out the worst in two people who were once in love; and the sad part is that – is that the hatred comes in doubles!

Speaking about bitter break ups; we understand that after years of dating in private – Jemutai finally exposed her relationship with Prof Hamo who is the father of her two kids.

According to the lady, things between them changed after the birth of their second born baby; and unlike before – the fella stopped supporting his babies. The last time he allegedly visited them, the guy apparently came carrying Oreo biscuits for the kids; and honestly who does that?

I honestly don’t see the day when Zari Hassan and Wema Sepetu will decided to call off their beef; especially now that none of them is with singer Diamond Platnumz.

For those wondering, Zari Hassan and Wema Sepetu started beefing after the WCB CEO settled down with Zari while still dating Wema; and yes – the heartbreak brought out Tanzanian actress’s Wema Sepetu ugly side.

The lass not only attacked Zari on social media but word has it that young Tiffah was also dragged into the mess. Ugly. And ever since then, these two boss ladies cannot see eye to eye.

Low blows

So far we have seen both ladies bash each other and the latest incident was sparked by Manunu’s (Wema’s dog) disappearance; which Zari claimed to be stage – and just another way to seek social media sympathy.

Since then – the two ladies have been serving low blows and looks like things are getting worse judging from Zari’s latest post. Well, according to Zari who was responding to Wema’s latest insults; the boss lady claims that she will not argue with a starving person. Ouch.

This is after a fan wrote to Zari saying;

To which Zari responded saying;
