During his London concert, he could be heard shouting to the crowd, “Wasafi” which added to the confusion with many unaware of his position yet.

Additionally, in his series of Insta posts, his all-time WCB chain could be seen hanging from his neck, a sign that he is in one way or another, attached to the thriving label.

However, this time puts it all in black and white.

In a short clip he shared on his page, he lauds:

This is Konde Boy, they call me Jeshi all the way from the most expensive gang, Konde Gang, for everybody.

This is ahead of his scheduled live concert in Dubai for the ‘Pan African music fest’ as he closes off:

To everybody, I’ll be there for you.

However, his Instagram profile remains with WCB’s hashtag as Konde Gang misses in action:

#WCB4LIFE

Probably, that’s his next agenda as he unveils his brand, “Konde Gang” to the world.

Harmonize speaks about his new album and his plan for East Africa’s music growth in the Western market

Ex-WCB artiste, Harmonize has spoken his first since handing in his resignation letter to WCB’s management.

The bongo star spoke to BBC Swahili in a candid interview, about his “One Africa music fest” performance in the UK.

He was first pretty grateful for the massive turnout in the UK, despite fact that the announcement was made barely days to the performance.

And it means a lot to me.

New album

And further concerning his new album that is expected to come out by end of the year, despite his departure from WCB:

Well, album yangu inaitwa Bongo to Lagos. Itakua ni more of collaborations kwa wasanii wa West Africa and East Africa. Na ni kama East meet West. But the point is kuonyesha wasanii wa West Africa watambue zaidi mziki wetu, wajue bongo flava kwa undani. Mi naita Afro-East.

This is basing on fact that Afro-beat is music popularly known to originate from Africa, but in real sense it covers more of the West than the rest of Africa.

Sisi mziki wetu hauwezi kuitwa Afrobeats kwa sababu una Kiswahili ndani, tunauita Afro-East.

However, speaking in regard to the prominence of Afro music in the Western World unlike East Africa’s similar position, he expresses his desire to have a blend of Afro and the East to push their music forward.

So Mungu akinijalia, mwisho wa mwaka nitaachia.

East Africa’s music

Furthermore, he revealed his plans to speak to East African artistes concerning lack of their music growth in the Western world.

What I believe is, tunaeza kufanya kwa sababu tuna crowd kubwa ya East Africa, tuna WaKenya wengi sana, wanatusupport. So tukitangaza show na kiandaliwe vizuri, naamini kabisa itaja.

But that’s not it for him in the world of music as he looks forward to achieve his dream of staging performances in London’s biggest arena, 02.

So my plan, na target yangu, na nilivyoiambia nafsi yangu kwamba next year nitaitangaza tarehe, lakini, I’m trying to London Arena 02. I believe inaezekana kabisa.

¨Nawajua wenye hela za mjini wanapenda kugusanisha nyaya bin cheche¨ Harmonize´s manager cautions amid his speculated exit from Wasafi

Thriving Wasafi artist, Harmonize might have sent signals of his near exit from Diamond´s record label but he´s been urged to think twice.

The bongo singer´s manager, Mkubwa Fella has advised him against leaving the Wasafi label.

Mkubwa Fella believes he is in a good enough position to advise the successful talent from a point of authority. Since Fella has been in the lucrative industry for a while now therefore understands various stakeholders in the industry.

Through social media, Mkubwa Fella wrote:

Aya naona nawengine mnaanza kumtia tamaa mwanangu KONDEBOY mie najua utamu wa kazi hii ata uchungu wa kazi hii. najua msanii ana mamuzi ya ukuwaji maendeleo ila mwanangu ukiona ulipo inatosha sawa ila Aga tu vinzuri ata mie nna kila sababu ya kukushauli maana nawajua wenye hela za mjini wanapenda kugusanisha nyaya bin cheche sasa before kuangalia maendeleo wadeki awo jamaa wapo sawa maana mie nawajua zaidi tena labda ujui majina yao yapo Itary wanataka kununu vifaa vya MEDIA. sasa wanangu tuchange karata vinzuri.tena kuna muda walimshauli bin kumlubuni @diamondplatnumz etietietieti???????????? achane na sisi wampe usd 100,000 tumalizane etietieti ????????

According to Fella, Konde Boy should think twice before he gives into any offers the outside world is giving him because Diamond also fell victim of such.

The ´Never Give Up´ singer is however yet to address any of these claims from the public.
