David Rudisha’s flop in English leaves Twitter in shambles

Double Olympic champion David Rudisha sent social media in a frenzy after he made a terrible mistake using inappropriate homonym in his tweet.

The first IAAF World Under 18 Championships in Kenya has been a GREAT success, Kenyans broke the record of the highest attendance ever in World Under 18 Championships.

Several celebrities and politicians commended Kenyans for turning up in huge numbers at Kasarani stadium to witness the international sporting event.

David Rudisha was among the celebs that were in attendance at Kasarani stadium, he also praised Kenyans for filling the seats at the stadium.

The double Olympic champion however used the word ‘upload’ instead of ‘applaud’ in his message on Twitter.

“I upload Kenyans for breaking the record of the highest attendance ever in #wu18Nairobi2017 #50,000! Amazing Kenyan spirit in athletics,” David Rudisha tweeted.

Kenyans on Twitter (KOT) enjoyed trolling Rudisha for his blunder. See some of the reactions below:
