Njeru Nanja I take this to mean that you Dennis Itumbi, today 17/10/2019, have endorsed the marriage between Erick Omondi and Jacky Maribe and subsequently confirmed that indeed one Zahari is a child born of that union. I’m I right?

Jackie Maribe makes social media comeback after Kipchoge’s win

Former Citizen TV news anchor Jackie Maribe was recently on social media to congratulate athlete Eliud Kipchoge on his historical fete.

On Sunday, Kipchoge ran a marathon in less than two hours. His time, 1:59:40, is the fastest any runner has ever covered. This was good enough to get Maribe from the hole she has been hiding.

Maribe came out to congratulate the athlete for his fete.

“Eliud Kipchoge thank you, for sharing this moment with us. For allowing us to witness history. For showing us that we can teach our children that no human is limited. We are proud. I am proud. Kenya is proud. Thank you. You are worth making a comeback for,” she said in her Tweet.

Case

Jackie has been away from Instagram for months now and has been avoiding social media because of her ongoing court case.

Best friends! Jacque Maribe and Itumbi spotted together at invites only party(photos)

Jackie Maribe and Dennis Itumbi over the weekend attended an invite-only birthday party of one of their friends.

Maribe and Itumbi’s friendship has been a rather controversial topic given how the two have always insisted they are good friends.

Itumbi more than once has penned lovely poems for Maribe on social media especially during the time she was in Jail.

Poems

Jacky has never written anything for him publicly.

Anyway, the two were attending one of their friend’s party in a popular joint and where they shared a few photos. Itumbi, as usual, penned down a sweet poem for his friend which said:

Friendship is Martin Gitau

Happy Birthday my friend.

Our story from the days of hustle in Mukuru Slums to Mbotela and our little victories along the way is one written in both our hearts and soul.

We have had our challenges, but we have stood for each other when we had nothing and when we have something to share.

You family and mine have become friends because we are.

During our birthdays we celebrate our friendship.

Daamn, the journey of life, through its blessings and challenges, poetry and lyrics and through its demands has been easier because you have been right there.

Our trophy and medal moments, our cheer and sad moments – are the paragraphs of our great story of friendship.

As you celebrate your birthday, I wish you a full cup of life. I will be there with you, like you have been here with me.

I wish you a great year buddy!

Happy Birthday!

Jackie Maribe hits the gym to get her sexy back after being dragged behind by series of long court battles and jail(photo)

Former Citizen TV news anchor Jackie Maribe is back to the gym after a stressful 2018 that saw her bounce in and out of jail and court.

The Royal Media Services employee is enjoying less pressure and prying eyes now as the case awaits final verdict therefore can enjoy a little privacy.

Citizen TV’s Hassan Mugambi shared a photo of himself together with Kadzoh and Jacque in the gym, and Jackie looks pretty happy in the photo.

Getting her life back

She’s trying to get her life back after the case and it has now become harder than ever to spot her in public.

Maribe returned to work at Citizen TV after the High Court granted her bail following her arrest as a suspect in the murder of Monica Kimani. Maribe has reported back to work as a news editor after the High Court restrained her from news anchoring and reporting until the case is concluded.

‘Maribe saved me while we were in high school’ Size 8 shares how Maribe used to help her

Gospel singer Size 8 has opened up of how news anchor Jacque Maribe helped her while they were in High school at State House girls.

In an interview with comedian Chipukeezy, the singer explained that she was very broke while in high school but Maribe always gave her half of her shopping which mostly included pads.

Friend in need

Size 8 came from a very poor family and had a tough life especially after being sponsored and joining State House girls.

“In high school, Jacque Maribe was really there for me, yeye ndiye alikuwa ananibuyia sanitary towels,” she said.

“She used to come with shopping and split into two, she would give me and even pads. So when I see my face on the packet of pads as the brand ambassador of Softcare pads, I testify because my life is evidence that it doesn’t matter who you are or what you do. God can do exceedingly and abundantly above all you can ever ask, think or imagine.”

Maribe has just driven out the gates of Langata Womens Prison. Home, sweet home – Itumbi

For the first time in almost two months, Citizen TV news anchor Jacque Maribe slept in a cozy bed in BuruBuru with her parents and Dennis Itumbi’s heart settle down.

Maribe was released on Tuesday after Justice James Wakiaga granted her a Sh1 million bail with three sureties. However, Maribe could not immediately go as verification of surety documents was slow.

According to Itumbi, the verification process, which sometimes involves checking the property to ascertain ownership, worth and whether persons standing surety are citizens, was taking too long and Maribe almost spent another night at Langata Women Prison.

“Yesterday, the same games were employed. The Deputy Registrar declined to sign the letter committing documents to land registry and registrar of persons yesterday. We decided to wait for today,” Itumbi said on Twitter.

“This morning family and friends reported at the High Court at 7am and the Deputy Registrar signed a letter that was on her desk from last evening at 11am. No problem with that, we can live with that.”

Celebration

After Jacque was released, Itumbi tweeted:

“Jacque Maribe, has just driven out the gates of Langata Womens Prison. Home, sweet home. Thanks for maombi.”

Kenyans have been trolling the two ever since the announcement was made as on Tuesday.

Geng Geng!! Jowi’s party friends were also in court to show support (photos)

It seems like everyone was showing support for Jacque Maribe and zero was coming in for her fiance Joseph Irungu aka Jowi.

Well, that’s not true.

Some of his friends were present in court yesterday to show support for the young  man despite him being denied bail and the judge describing him as a male version of a slay queen.

Friends

Joe Muchiri who is well known for his clubbing and drinking ways was a good friend of Jowi and  Bashka were present yesterday to show support for Jowi.

Jacque was released on  Sh1 million cash bail in the Monica Kimani murder case.  She was granted an alternative of a Sh2 million bond.

Jacque Maribe to spend more time in jail after recent court ruling

Jacque Maribe will spend another 6 days at Langata Women Prison after Justice James Wakiaga ruled that the her bail ruling would be heard on Tuesday 30th October 2018.

Maribe and fiance Joseph Irungu made an appearance seeking for bail after being accused of the murder of Monica Kimani.

Justice Wakiaga ruled in the favour of the prosecution, quashing the affidavit.

Old School

On Wednesday, October 17, Justice Wakiaga also warned the media against engaging prejudicial reporting of the case, saying that he does not like being influenced before hearing a case.  “I’m an old school judge and I do not like it when I’m influenced before I hear a case…media should guard against what to put out,” he said.
