Jaguar reworks on airplane after Kenyans called it “Mkebe”

Singer and politician Jaguar has taken trolls from Kenyans seriously and is now reworking on a dead plane he bought recently.

The politician took to social media a few days ago to flaunt his plane that is not so new leaving many awed. Jaguar bought one of the planes that were being auctioned by KAA for a throw-away price.

Decoration

He paid a clean Ksh 120,000 for the 5H-SKT which was among the cheapest in the list released by KAA early this month. He’s now using the plane as a decoration at his fancy house. Some Kenyans however didn’t like this move and were quick to call it scrap metal.

It seems Jaguar is now working on the plane and has already started painting it. It’s not clear what he wants to do to with it but for now, we just think it’s for decoration.

Prezzo cautions Jaguar following his recent xenophobic outburst

Kenyan artists are not sharing the same thoughts as Starehe Member of Parliament Charles ‘Jaguar’ Kanyi who urged Kenyans recently to chase away foreigners taking over their business.

Several artists have bashed Jaguar’s comments saying that he should stop inciting war against our neighbors.

“If you asses our markets, Ugandans and Tanzanians have taken over our businesses… now we are saying enough is enough. If a 24-hour ultimatum is not enough for them to be deported, we will remove them and we’ll beat them up and we will not fear anyone,” he was filmed saying.

Peace

Rapper Prezzo asked the singer turned MP to stop inciting a war and find better ways to handle the problem.

“My brother @jaguarkenya I do not know where to start but your talk was not pleasing at all. A leader is supposed to lead people in a good way and not by inciting war especially to our neighbors Tanzania and Uganda.”

He added:

“All of us are trying to make ends meet in other countries apart from kenya so your decision of giving the government 24 hours to remove all foreign employees was uncalled for. I pray that god gives you strength so that you can be a leader of prosperity. #rapcellency.”

Jaguar’s cheeks hit my hands I didn’t no slap him- Babu Owino

Embakasi East MP Babu Owino, while offering an apology in parliament regarding his 2017 fight with Starehe MP Charles Kanyi, popularly known as Jaguar, left fellow MPs in stitches.

Owino offered a cheeky apology regarding his fight saying that he never slapped Jaguar during the heated argument. The apology was rejected.

“I would like to apologise and say that on that day, I did not slap Hon. Jaguar, it is his cheeks that moved towards my hands and I’m ready to apologise,” said Babu.

Repeat

Deputy Speaker Moses Cheboi who was presiding over the Thursday, November 22, morning session, was not impressed with the apology and asked Owino to make another.

“I tender my unreserved apology to the members and this House for having acted in a manner that did not bring honor, respect and dignity to this House and undertake that I shall always abide by the responsibilities of leadership set out in the Constitution,” said the Embakasi East MP.

The two went for each other’s neck in October 10, 2017, when Jaguar got agitated by Babu’s statements saying he could not recognize President Uhuru Kenyatta’s legitimacy.

Harmonize blasts Jaguar for siding with promoters who failed to honor his contract

Tanzanian singer Harmonize has bashed singer Jaguar for a statement he made several weeks ago, siding with a promoter who had organised his show in Eldoret that turned chaotic.

In an interview with Mzazi Willy M Tuva, Jaguar said that Harmonize should have performed in Eldoret even though the promoter failed to honor their agreement.

Harmonize in a recent interview with Kiss FM said that Jaguar comments were uncalled for because the promoter did a shady job.

“Jaguar should have tried to reach out to me as the artiste or even my management like he did to the promoters,” Harmonize told Adelle and Shaffie on Kiss FM.

“I felt so bad when I heard about him commenting on radio. Kama msanii, namheshimu sana na pia ni mtu anaheshimika pia na watu, and what he says makes a great impact on people. Yeye ni kiongozi wa wasanii ila sio wa promoters.”

Poorly organised

Harmonize went on to add that he was fully prepared for the show but after learning the promoter was dodgy and had neglected him, he decided not to take stage.

“Nilifanya hadi roadshow in preparation of the show na sound check and was fully prepared, but at 1am I was told the show will not happen because the promoters were to pay the contract which they had not honored. They had not arranged even my flight to Eldoret. I mean it was poorly done.” he said.

Harmonize also said that he was still willing to perform but his security team wouldn’t let him go out there.  He said Jaguar should have gotten information from his side and that of the promoters.

“Nilihisi kana kwamba Jaguar amenibagua labda kwa sababu sitoki Kenya lakini anafaa ajue kua sisi wote ni wasanii wa East Africa. I respect his work and his music, which I started listening to when I was still in school. Things happen and I would have explained to him so well. He would have gone on radio with information from both sides,” he said.

Jaguar bails out lady who claimed to be Uhuru Kenyatta’s daughter

Starehe MP Charles Njugua with the help of Citizen Radio presenter Mzazi Willy M Tuva, have bailed out Tamara Risheel, a lady who made it to the headlines after claiming she’s Uhuru Kenyatta’s daughter.

Risheel was arrested and locked for three days after taking to the streets with a board written that she’s Uhuru’s daughter. Jaguar and Mzazi on Monday went to Kilimani police and bailed her out. News had earlier stated that she had been taken to meet Uhuru Kenyatta but Jalang’o said that she had been arrested.

“Tamara was not taken to Statehouse but she was a guest of the state at Kilimani police station. Kenyan musician Jaguar bailed her out after three days . Tamara has revealed that she is an artiste and she has a song for the president,” said Jalas.

“Tamara kumbe hakupelekwa statehouse but alikuwa guest of state pale Kilimani police! Jaguaree @jaguarkenya ndio amemtoa after 3 days! Amesema yeye ni msanii na ako na wimbo ya President…..weee! Sasa lazima hii wimbo #ifikierais.”
