Pit Stop Club in Kisumu has been forced to come out and refute allegations that Lang’ata member of parliament Jalang’o (Felix Odiwuor) is among the shareholders in a rather poignant indication of what lies ahead for his political fortunes.
This move was necessitated by the fact that it was among the few businesses that was targetted by protesters and vandalised after the area residents felt that he had defected onto President Ruto’s team.
A result of this association to Jalang’o has seen the club’s fortunes dwindle and the management of the club have been forced to issue a statement on behalf of the owners disowning (pun unintended) any link to the former comedian outyside of them having hired his services as an influencer.
According to reports, the allegations were started by Jalas himself but the fires were stocked by business rivals who saw an opportunity to kill two birds with one stone in a bid to give their business authenticity.
The owners went as far as to condemn the attacks on their premises and assured revellers that they are in no way associated with the former radio personality. And one has to wonder whether Jalang’o would have a leg to stand on if today he were kicked out of the party that sponsored his candidature given it was their ardent supporters who voted him in simply because he held the party ticket.
Jalang’o seems to be the rebel in ODM and the Azimio coalition which we cannot imagine to be a tenable position for either of the parties involved and we suspect that his bright political career might already be on it’s descent.
The reason for this is that he is seen not just as a contrarian but an out-and-out traitor and turncoat. This first started when he went out to State House to have “tea” with President Ruto.

Jalang’o’s supporters and detractors alike felt with was a political faux pas as he was inadvertently being used to legitimize the president’s tenure given his own political party is of the position that the elections were rigged.
Since then he seems to be revelling in playing the role of party traitor as he routinely undermines the party’s public stance by issuing contradictory statements. When the party called for mass action on Monday, 3rd of March, he stated he would not be partisan as the “holiday” is not a gazetted one.

His constituency, Lang’ata is a hotbed for ODM and UDA political rivalry. His political party’s support (ODM is what saw him rise to success as he was an untested and novel pick.
So what happens once they turn their backs on him? UDA already has their preferred candidate, Nixon Korir. The vast majority of ODM’s grasroot supporters vote according to political lines as advised by the party. So will Jalang’o have a leg to stand on once he is rejected by the party?

While that remains to be seen, I am not too confident in his ability to rise to the occassion once again as let’s just face it, he rode ODM’s coattails to the August House.
Jalas recently during a red carpet interview revealed that his former co-host Kamene Goro will be back on the radio after a short hiatus ever since she parted company with her former employer KISS 100.
This will be great news for the former radio personality who sends her departure from the airwaves has simply been partying and hyping up bars and restaurants.
Although he has remained mum on the question of which registration she will adopt as a new home, it is safe to say that wherever Kamene Goro lands will be that much richer with talent.
We look forward to seeing where she will earn as her journey on radio continue shattered heart NRG radio before being pushed in a rather spectacular fashion along with her coworkers and produces when KISS 100 came calling for her services.
She left for the morning show alongside controversial podcaster and YouTuber Andrew Kibe, Xtiandela her producer and Diallo. Kamene Goro however, outlasted everyone she was put with before she too was shown the door when she and the company failed to come to terms as they were renegotiating the contract.
When all is said and done it is clearly a solid plan to get yourself and networking heavy-hitters like Jalango who seems to have pull some strings to get his friend a job.

Jalang’o seems to be on the outs with regard to his political party ODM which is a member of the Coalition called Azimio. For some reason, he decided to act completely illiterate and obtuse to Kenyan politics when he was hosted by President Ruto.
The first wave of backlash came from the grassroots supporters of the political parties who felt he had crossed a line that should not have been crossed. Not only did they voice their opposition to his decision but some even tried to buy him from attending and Azimio meeting held in Machakos County.
Jalang’o seems to be having a terrible week as it was capped off by his own party’s leader declaring him a traitor and challenging him and the rest of the law and Peace who went to state house to resign from their party and seek a fresh mandate from the electorate.
This raises the question of whether or not the former comedian who won his seat as the member of parliament for Lang’ata constituency of his own merit or to the blessing of Raila Odinga’s party ODM. And for us to understand this dilemma we need we need to first acknowledge the fact that the party didn’t even want to give him a ticket after he won its nomination process.

Jalang’o had to fight against the powers that be within the Coalition has we had a preferred candidate whom they felt was a shipping for the position but he caused a huge upset when he won the nomination process. They realised that he was the popular choice and they was stuck with him so they quickly walked back the decision to deny him his nomination certificate.
That is actually his ace in the hole. The fact that he has proven once that he can defy the party successfully shows that he actually stands a chance at decamping from his favoured party now that he is considered a traitor and he could still re-clinch the seat.

That’s why my advice to him is for him to begin to seriously consider doing just that because at some point, Jalang’o need to understand that he would be in better standing as an independent candidate rather than an ODM member of parliament because they are certain party lines he must to. Own party leaders come out to state that he expect nothing short of full loyalty which too many reads as a declaration of desire for sycophancy.
If indeed Jalang’o believes that he’s there to serve his constituents and not the party then he needs to put his money where his mouth is and resign from the party and openly defy them in the field of battle as he converses for votes. It might be too soon for him to do so now, however. Maybe he should bide his time and in a year after he has managed to launch and execute several projects for his constituency, he can go full renegade.
Jalang’o proved all his detractors from when he won the Lang’ata parliamentary seat. And this victory flew in the face of not just naysayers but political pundits who felt it was a stretch for the comedian and radio personality to achieve his political ambitions.
Since then he has been active both in parliament and on social media consulting coaching headlines especially given that the political faction is aligned to which failed to clinch the presidential seat has begun to rumble and shake seeking to offer robust opposition to government policies that it claims are responsible for the soaring cost of living.

This has been quite the learning curve for the comedian as he is now finding out that in Kenya politics and politicking do not come to an end once one is announced the winner in whatever respective race they were participating in.

He was probably of the mindset that he’d get to Office and change the way politics have been done in the past. Jalang’o probably thought that once elected he would do everything and anything within his power to ensure his constituents get the best out of there sitting member of parliament. However, he’s quickly learning that that is not the case.
You have to tow your party line and that means sometimes you have to seek Direction on where the party starts with regard to certain actions. That makes it a very complex task for sitting and Peace to serve their constituents as they have to constantly consult the ” powers that be” within their respective political parties.
Jalang’o is learning that so he might have won the elections he could easily lose if he loses the ever-shifting support which is loyal not to the politician but to the political party. As such were ODM to rescind air ticket from him he’d have to file a fresh in a by-election and he might not have the popular support he enjoyed while a member of the party.
Still, it is a great thing to see that though most of his detractors had written him off as merely a stooge, he clearly has his own brain and is his own man.
When you think of masculinity which celebrities come to mind? That is a question I had asked a couple of my friends as we sat down having some rather interesting conversations. The truth is a lot of Kenyan celebs are nothing more than simps. They are weak men who you can’t trust you have your back in a bind know would you even want them in your corner should you ever been pressed.
So you can imagine how difficult it was for us to come up with celebrities whose masculinity were respect but also whom we feel have shown themselves to be as steady as a rock when it comes to supporting their friends and families. No this isn’t about celebrities who haven’t had any scandals and are seen as upstanding members of society. That is because a lot of celebrities who your girlfriend who think are good men I am merely localised Will Smiths.
And by that I mean that they are too scared to rock the boat so they try and talk the line of what is considered acceptable by the Overton window and don’t say an opinion that is considered controversial even if it might truly be what they think or feel on a subject.
We narrow the list down 2 about five celebrity we feel any Kenyan man would do well to emulate. That is because they are not only stoic but they are loyal and have the cojones to stun shows down on their opinions and thoughts and defend them and should they be proven wrong they have no problem apologizing and switching to adapt to the face of new evidence. These five Kenyan celebrities are:
Andrew Kibe
A lot has been said about him. He is an example of a man who tried and failed and tried again and though he has been met with a lot of failures in life he has also risen each time he has failed. Currently, he is a huge masculinity influencer who is teaching men to better themselves and while a lot of sensitive weak men and their families girlfriends find him to offensive to learn from he actually has a lot of germs there a lot of men who appreciate just how much he has taught them.

What can be said about him? He teaches men how to better themselves physically mentally healthy them financially. of the type of man you want around you in a fix in fact you probably would want your sons to grow up into a man that mirrors him.

Classical masculinity is known by certain traits. Described as stoicism, loyalty to one’s kith and kin and privacy. These are some of the qualities we see in literature from classical Greek stories such as the Iliad and the Odyssey on into more contemporary sources such as The Red Badge Of Courage. And your shinski has displayed these commendably. An example of his loyalty would be him bringing his former bandmates; Collo and Roba on stage with him for a Kleptomaniax reunion even though he doesn’t have to seeing as he is a bona fide star on his. He keeps his family respected by observing privacy.

He has shown an abundance of conviction for his principles understood by them to the point of being harassed not only despite government’s past and he manage that all before use the age of 30.
He has built a business so he is a model of financial freedom and this is something every young man should aspire to. His opinions are sometimes divisive and polarizing but he stays ten toes down regardless of how badly he sometimes gets pilloried.

I am beginning to get an appreciation for the man because of just how loyal he is to his friends. Decided to check on his friend 2mbili’s crucifix and his champion in his case after he was abused by his babymama. The type of friend you really do want around you someone who will take all your battles as his own. That is loyalty. He has his own flaws as we all do as men and human beings but his redeeming qualities are of such immense value it is hard to argue that he isn’t a man was respecting.

In this time and time again and an example of his loyalty is when he was ironically caught cheating on his wife. Through the friends you was in a WhatsApp group with under the bus. That is an admirable quality because there are no virtues in the foxhole. He goes as far as to create opportunities for his friends to drive using his own platforms that is an admirable quality.

You see, over the last number of months and years, we have been inundated by reports of Kenyan celebrities cheating on their wives and getting caught because they are actually a dense lot.
The one thing these men I mentioned have in common with their affairs is the fact that they humiliated their wives. Kabi was Jesus did not cheat on his wife but he humiliated her. For some reason, rather than bite the bit and deal with the situation he created, he dragged his wife into his nonsense and made her the subject of hate once his ruse was exposed.
But the thing is, none of them, not Professor Hamo, not Jalang’o and definitely not Kabi was Jesus nor Mwakideu would have had to deal with the public humiliation their wives were exposed to had they had mentors cut from the old testament cloth.
First off, let us shed the bullshit notion that men don’t cheat. From there, let us understand and agree that men with as many options as these Kenyan celebrities do will definitely step out of their marriage once or twice. But that doesn’t mean they do not love their wives nor that they are terrible husbands and fathers.

First, all your actions must follow one rule, and that cardinal rule is that you must never humiliate your wife. That should form the basis of your intent and actions. Do not rub your affairs in your spouses face. The idea here is for you to be discreet because what she doesn’t know won’t hurt her. Do not tell your WhatsApp group or friends or pose for pictures that your clande has taken.
Also, you do not allow your affair partner to disrespect your partner. They need to understand that their position isn’t to challenge for the queen’s spot. And to accomplish this, you have to be very clear as to whether or not you want to keep her as a second wife or if your affair partner is merely a plaything. Imagine if Samidoh and a host of other celebrities understood this and made their stance on the matter clear.

That was not the case when Professor Hamo, Jalang’o or Mwakideu were busted but it is arguably the case for Mr Seed and Samidoh.

But if the urge grows beyond your capacity to handle it, then surely, it is our responsibility to ensure we do not get caught.

Kiss100 is faced with a Herculean task: they have to replace Jalang’o. And while to the casual observer this is nothing particularly special as companies inevitably have to replace their workers, one person in the know who has to be quaking in her boots is Kamene Goro.
You see, while Milele FM had the luxury of letting go of Jalas, Kiss100 was faced with a more serious situation and them getting their hands on Jalang’o was a godsend. At the time he had joined the station, the morning show was performing abysmally.

That is both in terms of the audience size as well as the commercial aspect of things. They had gone from losing the shows producer, Xtiandela and then Kibe had to be shown the door after he fell afoul of the station management team because of his antics. The only member of that NRG trio left, Ms Goro was struggling to maintain her audience, let alone grow it.
They had no ads to speak of until Jalang’o signed onboard. he is indeed a force in the radio space as when he joined, actually, the minute it was announced he would be joining, the Kiss100 audience began to record growth. And when he finally did put on the headset and speak into the mic, it swelled. Aside from that, he managed to almost immediately attract ads.

It seemed like a match made in heaven because of his charisma and the fact that his juggernaut had outriders who were advertisers. Whether or not you think his comedy is for you, you have to admit that he made the Kiss Breakfast worth tuning into.
But what now that he has declared his interest in the Lang’ata parliamentary seat? Well, first off, he had to tender his resignation. And now that he is about to fully focus on the political contest; first against other ODM ticket aspirants and finally against the incumbent, Nixon Korir, he has to bow out but with a plan to not disrupt the gravy train he had helped create at Kiss 100. And that is why he (probably with the entire management team at Kiss100) has come up with the idea of “finding the next Jalang’o”.

Afterall, if the trick worked with him once upon a time when he was picked and placed on the Big Breakfast show with Caroline Mutoko, then perhaps they can replicate the same magic. After all, at some point, it becomes more than just about being “magic” but more of a mathematical calculation.
I mean, sure, they have to hope they get someone with Jalang’o’s charisma and intelligence but beyond the human aspect, the rest is a formula they have already put forth and repeated with Mbusih and Lion.
Kamene Goro just needs to ensure she does not haemorrhage the audience numbers in the meantime. While Kiss100 is looking for a replacement presenter for her. Why? Because this time, unlike previously with her friends Kibe and Xtiandela, there is a significant standard to compare her to.

Kamene Goro and her co-presenter, Jalang’o aka Jalas today had a very interesting conversation about a woman whose remains was found wrapped up in a gunny bag (gunia) with the words “bwana ya mtu ni sumu” scribbled all over her body and their conclusion was that women should avoid married men.
This is a myopic take on what this is about that comes dangerously close to excusing and trying to normalise criminal behaviour. A wayward spouse doesn’t deserve to be killed any more than their partner does. And I wouldn’t expect any better from the Kiss Breakfast A-seat because she has previously shown a penchant for cognitive dissonance. She is the same woman who will be barking in the studio about femicide on any other day and still champion this nonsense and not realise the contradiction.
What Kamene and Jalas have to realise is that the route of the problem we are currently discussing is the fact that for far too long, Africans have been actively and energetically advised to ignore their culture and heritage in preference of Western madness that not only fails here but in the west too. Polygamy is the example I am going to tackle today.
It is actually deeply ingrained in human nature. That is why women flock a man who has a ring on his finger and we have a term for that, “pre-selection“. Social sciences have studied this phenomenon and it is what accounts for the popularity men seem to gain once they finally exit the dating market.
Add to this the fact that there are simply far more women that men and you understand why this is a thing. It really is simple math. If there are 7 women for every 1 man deemed viable for marriage, then why wouldn’t the 7 women want to share this one man? And often they do when the man is of high value.
Kamene and Jalas should stop trying to muzzle human nature and actively push for polygamy because it also solves another issue; ensuring no child grows up a bastard. More often than not, the men who walk away from their children do so because of one of two reasons: either they were baby trapped (my body my choice, my time and resources my choice) or they impregnated their mistress and the wife raised a stink so they opted for the cowards way out and abandoned their baby.
Were we to champion for polygamy, then this becomes a non-issue but you have to have been open and upfront about your decision as a man to pursue a polygamous family from the onset. That seems like a harder sell until you realise the alternative is what they did where they essentially argued that mistresses and bpoytoys should willingly accept the possibility they could be murdered. If you know anything about the law then you know this is a far more crazy alternative.
And what if the woman decides she too wants in on the action and wants a polyandrous relationship? Then by all means, let her seek men who would willingly share her. Let her be honest right from the jump and tell the men who will eventually become her husbands that they are signing on for polyandry.

So incase you want to argue that polygamy is not the nature of men, kindly, as my mentor says, go and argue with your mother. But somehow I am not holding my breath that you will ever see polygamy become openly celebrated because we as a society prefer rewarding scumbags who sneak around.

Renowned fashionista and activist in the country, Manduli has passed on at the age of 73 years. The celebrated veteran politician and former chairperson of NGO Council had many titles to her name; including being the first African woman rally driver to grace the Safari Rally when she took part in the 1974 edition alongside her late co-driver Sylvia Omino.

The whole country is in mourning after her untimely death. Most celebrities have taken time to pay tribute to her; including Jalang’o, Khaligraph Jones, Kamene Goro, President Uhuru Kenyatta, among several others.
Speaking at Kiss FM, Jalang’o and Kamene reminisced Manduli’s tremendous achievements over the years; and praised her outspoken character.
Kamene stated;
”A woman who really lived. If there’s one thing we can say about her, she lived and lived unapologetically full force. If there’s was something that needed to be said, she would say it.”
Jalang’o also noted how industrious Manduli was; including being a large scale farmer who fed thousands of Kenyans through her farm.
Manduli was known widely for showcasing African attire with matching massive head scarfs.
She described herself as “lioness in her cage” and in 2005; she was embroiled in a leadership wrangle at the NGO Council; which roped in then Culture and Heritage minister Najib Balala; who locked gates of the State agency; blocking everybody from entering or leaving the premises.
She is among the few women who made it in the political arena back in the days.

According to Edgar and his ‘students’; Jalang’o was among the few people involved in the ‘wash wash’ business; which has involved several immigration officials, media personalities and police officers and flamboyant businessmen and bank officials.
His wealthy lifestyle was on the line as some people believed that he was using subtle means to acquire his property.

Jalang’o however, refuted the claims of the scandal; and swore on his father’s grave that he has never been involved in fraudulent deals or stole from anyone.

Jalang’o was backed up by his counterparts, who have claimed that he’s more of a hard worker rather than a thief. Speaking on Kiss FM, he reiterated that all the wealth he has acquired is through his hard work. In his defense, Kamene Goro and detective Jane Mugo commented on his video.

In the video posted by Jalang’o, Kamene is also in agreement with him on his sentiments.
Jalang’o has declared an interest in the upcoming 2022 general elections for the Lang’ata Parliamentary seat and I am of the opinion he could clinch it with ease.
This opinion is informed by two things: the first being that he is currently enjoying his moment in the sun and the second is the fact that he is a member of a party, Orange Democratic Movement (ODM), that is hungry for youth membership to combat the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) hustler narrative.
How do the two factors marry into each other? Well, for starters Jalang’o is currently the hottest property in entertainment and specifically radio circles. I told you lot that he actually has a fan base that is loyal to him.
This fan base also features members of the public who are Lang’ata voters. That is a fact that should give sitting Lang’ata MP Nixon Korir something to ponder. He will be going up against an immensely popular opponent from a party that is popular in the constituency.

And onto the second point; ODM is desperate for youthful members and has pledged to support young aspirants. That means that in areas where they have young, youthful candidates, they will really push their candidates for the win.
The amount of support Jalang’o will enjoy will make him a formidable opponent for all the interested parties and while only time will tell whether or not I am right, one thing is for certain, Jalang’o is definitely going to make the most of this opportunity.
And it is a great advantage that he is constantly in the public’s view as he gets free marketing which gives him top-of-the-mind awareness.
This is rather ironic given the manner in which he joined with all the fanfare that preceded his signing to Radio Africa Limited.

You see, Jalas was deemed surplus to requirements over at Mediamax owned Milele FM and this was the chapter following the public exposure of his affairs.
He could do no right or so it seemed. Until Radio Africa Limited swooped in for him. In hindsight, it actually now seems like it was a match made in heaven.

Heavy J joined what was a failing segment. The Kiss 100 Breakfast team was a team that had shrunk from 3 individuals; Xtiandela as the producer, Andrew Kibe as the B-seat and Kamene Goro as the A-seat.
Xtiandela had been fired as was Andrew Kibe and Kamene Goro was struggling to bring in the ratings. The Kiss Breakfast audience had gone from growing due in large part to the team that was poached from NRG Radio to stagnating and finally dwindling.

But when Jalang’o came onboard, he did something that a precious few other celebrities and influencers can do -he brought his audience along with him.
That’s right, his fans weren’t his fans based on which station he was on, they were his fans. And he managed to carry them over to Kiss 100’s Breakfast show.

As soon as he signed on, the audience experienced a swell. As a result, the company was able to monetize the show almost immediately. And from what one of my mentors told me about Radio Africa, cash is king -and this made him a prince.
He inadvertently probably also saved Kamene Goro from a looming axe. But one thing is for certain and it is undeniable; Jalang’o saved the Breakfast Show.
We could argue and we could go back and forth but I have spoken to some insiders who shared my sentiments. So as we celebrate Jalang’o’s first year, if you want to debate what I have said about him saving the Kiss Breakfast segment, as people in Kanairo say, ambia morio hukudi….

Kenyans need to stop attacking Omosh and embrace him. Why? Because he is a reflection of who we are. The alcoholism and perennial victim mindset, the constant begging for help is who we are.
You see, for those of you who have been living under a rock somewhere in the deepest recesses of Moyale, allow me to recap what happened real quick… And we will start with the fact that he begged for help during an interview.

And Omosh cried and Kenyans came to his aid and rallied around him to donate money, a house, land and it appeared as though he was set for life as he even cleared his debt. Then he resurfaced a few months later asking for more money.
There has been a split in opinion as to whether the pledges he was given previously as been honoured and he begged for more but Jalang’o is an example of an individual who took the allegations that the pledges weren’t honoured poorly accusing him of squandering all that had been donated.

Omosh went on another interview and cried to be given equipment for him to ply his trade and indeed he eventually got the camera, stands and microphones he asked for but I do not think we are expecting much from him.
But why did Kenyans react so badly to his failure? Afterall, we all knew he was an alcoholic and we had simply given him money instead of insisting he get help before he gains access to that money…
It is because we are all too aware that Omosh is a representation of who we are as Kenyans. And having to see ourselves so raw and unfiltered is repulsive to us. Think about it, why have a lot of memes been comparing our president to the actor?
Why have these memes not only been funny but satirical with quite the gut-punch? It is because there is a lot of similarities they share. And we see that we the Kenyan electorate would probably vote for Omosh were he to vie for political office.
The helplessness we see in Omosh we see in ourselves. The substance dependency we see in him is something we can identify with -only that we wake up from our weekend stupor and go to work from Monday to Friday and get back into our numbing stupor.
This is a guide for idiots like Samidoh, Terrence Creative, Professor Hamo, Mr Seed, Jalang’o, Mwakideu and the rest would be well advised to pay attention to. You see, over the last number of weeks and months, we have been inundated by reports of Kenyan celebrities cheating on their wives and getting caught because they are actually a dense lot.
The one thing these men I mentioned have in common with their affairs is the fact that they humiliated their wives. Kabi was Jesus did not cheat on his wife but he humiliated her. For some reason, rather than bite the bit and deal with the situation he created, he dragged his wife into his nonsense and made her the subject of hate once his ruse was exposed.

But the thing is, none of them, not Professor Hamo, not Jalang’o and definitely not Kabi was Jesus nor Mwakideu would have had to deal with the public humiliation their wives were exposed to had they had mentors cut from the old testament cloth.
First off, let us shed the bullshit notion that men don’t cheat. From there, let us understand and agree that men with as many options as these Kenyan celebrities do will definitely step out on their marriage once or twice. But that doesn’t mean they do not love their wives nor that they are terrible husbands and fathers.

Secondly, we should also accept that given the context we are discussing, the men in question are high-value men. They have money and status and while most of them do not have looks, that is a distant third in third world situations that the prevalent one in Kenya.
Ok, now let us get into how a married man or men can get away with infidelity but we must appreciate that there are ways to cheat on your wife and not get caught up like Terrence Creative, Professor Hamo, Jalang’o or Mwakideu and this is actually what would be best for all parties involved rather than them trying to maintain their hypocritical facade.

First, all your actions must follow one rule, and that cardinal rule is that you must never humiliate your wife. That should form the basis of your intent and actions. Do not rub your affairs in your spouses face. The idea here is for you to be discreet because what she doesn’t know won’t hurt her. Do not tell your WhatsApp group or friends or pose for pictures that your clande has taken.
Also, you do not allow your affair partner to disrespect your partner. They need to understand that their position isn’t to challenge for the queen’s spot. And to accomplish this, you have to be very clear as to whether or not you want to keep her as a second wife or if your affair partner is merely a plaything. Imagine if Samidoh and a host of other celebrities understood this and made their stance on the matter clear.

Do not make a woman uglier than your wife your clande. I do not know why this is something Kenyan celebs do not understand. Never ever pick a woman who will make your wife wonder why her. You want to be able to argue and reason with your wife (in the event you’re caught) that you had no choice because your partner is hot. It might seem counterintuitive but what happens is when you’re busted, it sparks competition anxiety in your wife. That was not the case when Professor Hamo, Jalang’o or Mwakideu were busted but it is arguably the case for Mr Seed and Samidoh.

This should be the first rule out of common sense. You never use your personal phone to sweet talk and sext. That is an amateur mistake. You need to know that your phone is always subject to scrutiny. So what you do is get a trap phone that you keep hidden in your car.
Don’t alter your behaviour
Stop changing things like your cologne, stop switching your schedule and stop altering your behaviour. you simply act like everything is normal. And that is easy to do when you’re in control of the relationship.

One of the easiest ways for men -especially married men- to get caught, is by sending Mpesa to their lovers. Now all she needs to do is to provide that trail to your partner and your goose is cooked.

Do I really need to explain this?! Can you not see how much drama this particular stunt has caused DJ Mo? He cannot even go on the offensive to defend himself otherwise, he risks having his pecker leaked online.
At the end of the day, we need to understand that unlike DJ Mo, we aren’t trying to bring shame to ourselves and our families. The best option to take when the urge to stray bites is for you to simply not. But if the urge grows beyond your capacity to handle it, then surely, it is our responsibility to ensure we do not get caught.

Jalang’o has everything that any Kenyan would traditional be attracted to in a leader. he is charismatic, he is sociable and he seems like a genuine guy. Whether or not that last one is true is immaterial as we do not know whether the existing politicians are truly genuine but that is how they portray themselves.
And he also has a huge support base. Perhaps the argument can be made that this is simply showbiz clout but in the past, we have seen examples of people who were able to convert that same showbiz base into actual political support and they won political seats.

And Jalang’o needs to make up his mind and do so quickly because I can guarantee you that the truth of the matter is that his political opponents whether real or perceived are already plotting and preparing for him.
This is not the type of field in which you get in and anticipate that people will act with integrity or try to play nice. And he needs to decide where he will seek office and begin to lay down the groundwork because his opponents are.

Another issue for him is the fact that a lot of conmen might also have started using his name not only for mileage but to get money from people fraudulently. And by the time he has made up his mind, his image will have suffered irrevocably.
But the fact still remains, Jalang’o is a real political threat for a lot of sitting MPS, Senators and Governors and the political class has taken note to some of his jokes and are proceeding as if he has already thrown his hat into the arena.
Jalang’o is a wise man. He recently said something that I feel needs to be amplified and in my opinion, is something brilliant and every daughter, sister and woman needs to be told this about how men approach relationships.
He was recently explaining how men see women with regards to relationships and he said that there are no stingy men, men simply invest where they see value or in whom they see value.

This statement by Jalang’o speaks to a lot but chiefly to me, it spoke to the Madonna/ Whore complex. What do I mean? Well, men have a dichotomy when it comes to how they view women with whom to get into a relationship.
To simplify everything, think of it like this, a man meets a woman and they decide to start dating. But for some reason unknown to the woman, her man doesn’t seem to want to spend anything on her or even “invest” in her.

And so Jalang’o has merely said that every woman who is complaining about her man being stingy is not worth being invested in and while I know that notion is very off-putting to a lot of women who are only now realizing that this speaks to them and their situation.
Men aren’t stupid troglodytes. We understand that while there are many times we are driven by our urge to procreate, we also know how to filter out the women who are great candidates for us to be cuckolded.

Jalang’o is a man who has dealt with a lot of women because he is a high-value man. As a result of this, he has gleaned a lot of information about their nature. He knows which type of girls only qualify to be party-mates and which types of women qualify to be taken seriously.
But if we are to end this piece on a positive note is would be to try and explain to any women actually reading this that indeed, there is a way to reverse your fortune. You shouldn’t have to only stick to being a prime candidate for pump and dump. You can overturn your portion in life.

You see, he is a fresh face that many would feel is untested. Add to this the fact that he is not a political scion from one of the families we have convinced ourselves are royalty so when he decides to throw his hat into the arena, he will be outmatched and outgunned.

Jalang’o has what it takes for him to vie for political office but I would caution him against pursuing the top office in the land. You see, if he were to set his eyes on being an MCAS, he would clinch it without having to spend a cent on buying voters.
If he had his eyes set on an MP seat or even a senatorial seat, he would clinch it by applying a lot of elbow grease to the attempt. He has the clout and reknown and he has cemented his legacy as a top brand and he is known as a charitable soul. Infact, he is even more notable than singer Jaguar and he had an easy time clinching the Starehe seat.

But beyond that, he would be coming up against the defined interests of political godfathers and bigwigs. He would be trying to disrupt set political status quos that the top principles in Kenyan politics would have an interest in challenging.
But perhaps Jalang’o would have a better chance doing just that. Bear with me… Kenyans are tired. Kenyans are angry. Kenyans want a change and they are willing, now more than ever, to get rid of the clowns they elected to office who seem set on keeping Kenyans on their hands and knees as they ram them and the economy in quick succession.

If there is ever a time for a man in Jalang’o’s position to eye the top seat, it would be now. Kenyans are sick and tired of the uhuru Kenyatta led garbage government which has instituted Covid 19 lockdowns without bothering to institute any social welfare programs to take care of those most affected. Kenyans are tired of the looting and stealing that has gone on in the government led by Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy, William Ruto.
Kenyans are tired. And perhaps he would be a breath of fresh air. At this point, I would argue that convincing Kenyans to take a risk and place their collective destiny in the hands of a new variable is better than trying to do the same thing over and over again while expecting different results.
Jalang’o recently said something so inspired, I felt the need to highlight his words and through the considerable weight of my opinion behind it. He was talking to his co-host Kamene Goro and was going on about how to handle the aftermath of a breakup.
You see, when the story of “boy meets girl and falls for girl” goes awry, it is usually after alot of gifts have been exchanged. And as is the nature of society that evolved almost like an animal along with us and our needs, it is often the boys who give gifts.

Some of those gifts are of sentimental value more than they are of monetary value. But more often than not, they are expensive trinkets and everyday items that the poor boy has had to save for a time to be able to afford. Jalang’o is doubtless talking about the latter.

”We break up, return everything. What is tangible at that time, you just have to return. Kila mtu tu aende vile alikam. Si you’ve left me… Why are you keeping my car?… Women who are brought up well do this, when we break up, they put everything in a box… They just take what is theirs…
The best thing is to always erase everything… Why do you want to keep a ring of an engagement that didn’t work? Even for your own respect, you don’t have to wait to be told to return them… So that it does not remind you of this other guy.”

And he is right for one major reason: we live in a world in which equality is a concept that we have embraced. Women and men have equal access to opportunity and if feminists had their way, even equal outcomes would be the order of the day. Anyway, when a gift is given, it is done so with the understanding that it strengthens the relationship. It is done so with the aim of the relationships furtherance. So when the relationship comes undone, gifts must be returned.
I am not going to go with low IQ arguments about it making some men feel like they still have a say over their former beau. I will instead help Jalang’o further his argument by drawing parallels from the real world. When a country offers its aid to another, the donor country stipulates certain things that govern that relationship.
And when the recipient country breaks the terms of the bilateral agreement, the donor country usually withdraws support and demands back what it invested. For example, military aid or disaster relief.
If countries can do so, why not simply return that man’s property to him ladies? Like when you hear of a failed engagement and the woman refuses to return the ring. That is a level of entitlement that is preposterous.

Even if we take the argument along the ethical lines, we simply cannot defend clinging to old gifts. What is its purpose? To be regifted to your next man? Jalang’o is right in questioning such intent because trust me no self-respecting man wants gifts from the man that previously had his turn with you.
The only logical reason why any woman would want to keep such significant gifts is for manipulative reasons or out of delusion. The hope that the relationship will be rekindled. Or to use them to mess with the former partner. And Jalang’o has hit the nail on the head.
DJ Mo is not the only man who has been alleged to have cheated on his wife/ partner with a women less attractive than her. And it seems to be the trend for Kenyan celebrities and indeed, Kenyan men. They marry their idea of a “quality woman” then they go and cheat with a much less attractive woman and I have to question whether something in our water is making men dumber.
You see, Edgar Obare has come out and exposed several men of cheating on their partners and for some reason, whenever we finally find out who their affair partner is, I am often left feeling underwhelmed. So what to do? How are you supposed to deal with this sheer nonsense as a fan of some of these men? My heart is broken.

But this isn’t about just DJ Mo because as I said earlier, he is part of a not so exclusive club of men who smash sub-par women. So let us take a look at some of these men and let us ridicule their ignominious taste in women.

You have to wonder whether DJ Mo suffers from some sort of optical impairment. Actually, the drop in aesthetic quality actually leads one to question whether or not DJ Mo is of sound mind. It didn’t make things better that he was also reported to have been talking smack about his wife’s conjugal capacity. But it is good to see that he is big on body positivity and for him, aesthetic appeal is not a barrier. Honestly, how else do you explain the fact that they were said to have had a dalliance since 2016?
Seriously though, on this matter, Heavy J was a bit of a let down. He was caught up in a scandal that involved him simping for different women and sleeping with a majority of them but the thing that caught my eyes was the fact that none of the women he was reported to have had some horizontal delight with were all unattractive. Especially when compared to his attractive wife. One has to wonder whether Jalas was just tired of being with an attractive woman so his curiosity led him to wonder what it was like bedding unattractive women.

Jalang’o’s partner in crime was caught up in a scandal shortly after the former’s. What that meant was that we got to find out about the fact that Mwakideu was allegedly sleeping with a former producer of his whom he had a long-standing affair with. And we were shocked to discover that she doesn’t hold a candle to his legal wife.
This idjot left his wife who is a young, nubile, petite PYT for Vera Sidika who has more mileage than a cross-continental truck plying the American continent. We have seen her with Otile Brown, we have seen her with Yommy Jones, a Nigerian yahoo boy who alleged that Vera Sidika was a trollop who galivants the globe looking for Johns. And now, we can see Vera Shikwekwe Sidika chilling and getting engaged to Vera Sidika, abandoning his nubile wife.

This guy was caught up in a scandal last year when he went out to perform in Germany where a lady came out claiming he was cheating on the woman he is always pining about and crying for, Nabii. It was hilarious to watch him attempt to distance himself from the saga especially given the mountain of evidence in form of screenshots that showed he was caught with his hands in the cookie jar.
One has to wonder whether the saying, “Beauty is in the eye of the beholder isn’t just some sort of rationalizing the fact that some men go for low hanging fruit. But in my opinion, these women are very unattractive. And in the words of someone I used to admire greatly, everyone has a right to an opinion, mine.

The problem is, according to Jalang’o, the genre is not set to die soon but is already dead.
Heavy J said so in a recent interview he granted and the problem is that for a man who never speaks on the ongoing in the local entertainment industry nor does he ever have anything constructive to add to any debate about the local music scene so seeing him tearing it down is not just suspect, it is jarring.

Jalas is the quintessential older head who in his youth would point at Kapuka and complain about how it wasn’t musical because there were no live instruments being played by a live band. He has gone full circle.
One of the reasons why I believe Jalang’o is wrong about his assertions about Gengeton is because if there is anything that slowed down its popularity and the number of spins it gets, it was Covid-19 or as Trump rightfully calls it, the China bug/ Kungflu.

You see, Gengeton is a party anthem and it does well when people can party in parks, car parks, at the club or at a house party and the GoK mandated lockdown put paid to that situation. So Kenyans began driving into Kiambu to enjoy themselves but when the GoK found out about that, they put an end to that too. One has to, however, ask what music those youngins were listening to when they went bundu bashing and I can guarantee you it was not rhumba.
So this is just an issue of a chasm of generations. Jalas is out of touch with the younger generations which is interesting because even the station he currently works for, Kiss 100, has been forced to oblige to what their audience wants to listen to and Gengeton is part and parcel if not the chief of what youngins demand.
I guarantee that once Kenyans are allowed to go back to partying, Gengeton will have what guys like Heavy J Baba will think is a resurgence but those that know better, will silently smile. I lie. We will; gyrate our way to the dance floor and demand to listen to Mbogi Genje, Ochungulo Family, Ethic, Boondocks Gang and even Sailors. Because we want our own music and we want it to tell the stories we are interested in. Afterall, you old people ruined Kenya.

Maureen Waititu has been the topic of conversation the past couple of days as she made herself the subject of pity when she first came out with her pity-party approach to announcing the demise of her marriage to Frankie Kiarie aka Frankie Just Gym It.
When she first spoke about the matter, she painted herself out to be the single mother trope who had been abandoned emotionally by her man who was not quick to shut down interest from random women on social media and in real life.
One thing I am pretty sure about is the fact that both Frankie Just Gym It and Maureen Waititu are neither the victim nor are they innocent, they both contributed to the current situation.
That notwithstanding, Maureen Waititu was more than happy to place a disproportionate amount of the blame on Frankie Just Gym It implicitly and by not clarifying things.
And to make matters worse, things have now been clarified and it has become clear that Maureen Waititu was manipulating public emotions to make herself out as the victim of a situation she created. And to make matters worse, Frankie Just Gym It is now hooked up with another woman and they are even expecting a baby. All the while, Maureen Waititu is single and perhaps has only gotten to enjoy entanglements if anything.
So today when I heard Jalang’o speak on the matter, it piqued my interest to hear him say that Maureen Waititu needs to relax because many men would be more than willing to date, marry her and even help her raise her children.
Let us first start by reminding ourselves that this is the guy who was sleeping around and dogging on his wife and he is outchea giving relationship advice and then let us remember that what he has said is actually one hundred per cent true!
Maureen Waititu is probably well aware from all the DMs that she doubtless gets, that many a man would be more than willing to date her and even marry her. However, when we scrutinize the type of men we are speaking about, things aren’t as rosy as that.

So Maureen Waititu would have to settle for lower value men and alternatively, settle for being a second or third wife. now, understand that this is not a dig at anybody, this is simply me saying the truth that while there are many men willing to date single mothers, most of them do so out of compulsion of circumstances then they make their necessity a virtue.

It’s a tall order trying to make an accurate assessment of Kenya’s entertainment scene without considerable tribute to a phenomenal entity, Felix Odiwuor variously known as Mzee Jalang’o or just plainly, as Jalas.
Well, here’s a seasoned jack to a lot of trades.
Jalango is an established stand-up comedian, event MC, influential radio presenter and an astute businessman running a thriving event-hosting company called Arena Media.

This is a shrewd man used to making headlines on entertainment sites, gutter blogs and mainstream media, but keen observation shows a performer aware of the secret to being a darling to the masses – remain relevant.
Until a few weeks ago, Jalas has been hosting an influential morning radio show at Milele FM, alongside popular co-host Alex Mwakideu. He sensationally quit, citing contractual disagreements and has since joined Kiss FM, replacing the iconic controversial presenter Andrew Kibe at the morning show.
It’s easy to get fooled by his trademark green suit and a well-used, leopard-print shirt. Well, this is his mark of trade on stage, and hosting events as an MC – corporate and otherwise.
Beyond that smoke screen is a determined, focused and ambitious man, with a realistic finger-touch feel of the region’s needs in terms of entertainment. And, the guts to gamble and take career risks to reposition himself to take advantage of the trends.
Felix Odiwuor has come a long way – from a roadside comic byline to a regional, influential public personality. It hasn’t been an easy ride.
As always, this success story is inspired by bleak, humble beginnings. The usual tagline starts with a struggling background. He had willing and loving parenting, but life being unapologetically what it is, he faced lots of grounding uphill in early schooling.
Jalang’o, like many other artists of repute, owes a pie to the Kenya National Theater halls, where he moonlighted as a fickle second-cast entry for a whopping three years. He’d join the travelling theatre making play of high school literature set books. Well, lady luck did smile on him.
As wheels of fate inevitably turn, a break happened out of the blues – Papa Shirandula Show on Citizen TV. Alongside colleague and friend, Captain Otoyo (aka Otos), they’d clinch and secure spots on the show that’d endear them to the viewership and catapult the show’s ratings to the top.
Jalang’o has never looked back.
On the current trend with Jalang’o replacing Andrew Kibe at Kiss FM, what many do not know is that Jalas also owes the station a significant piece of his success.
Kiss FM is the station that gave the comedian and presenter the doorway to greatness, ways back. At the time, Jalas was performing on the Papa Shirandula show, and a slot had opened at Kiss FM. Despite impossible odds, Jalas aced the interview without any academic papers – they wanted a ‘degree person’!
Since then, he’s worked with Radio Maisha, then Hot 96 alongside iconic Jeff Koinange before a move to Milele FM for a morning sting with presenter Alex Mwakideu.
The move to the Kiss FM morning show to pair up with outspoken lady presenter Kamene Goro may be Jalang’o’s best career move yet.
He’s come of age – he’s influential, established on the social scene shedding the hustler image to join the polished, perhaps corporate listenership section. It’s time Jalang’o sheds the comic, pea-brained clown persona to embrace a polished, urban, well informed analytic presenter.
Kiss FM commands a large section of the urban radio segment, and this is where the present-day Jalang’o really fits.
Jalang’o finally stepped back into the Kiss100 radio studio and he got to start his job today, hosting the morning show alongside Kamene Goro. This was a controversial job he has taken because many felt that he had a hand in his predecessor, Andrew Kibe getting canned.
And whether that was right or wrong, many carried on with that narrative and it has formed a dark shadow over the show. But the question to be asked is whether the new partnership of Jalang’o and Kamene Goro works.
And the answer to that question will be unravelled over the coming days but one thing is clear, they aren’t on the same level of energy and chemistry as Kamene Goro was on with Andrew Kibe.
And indeed, this can be seen in the fact that they have started the show on a day with hot content being gifted to them. They have had the topic of Natalie Tewa and her new rumoured lover but let us be honest with each other, that is too hot a topic for radio and it would affect their bottom line. There was also the topic of a Kenyan man who found out his girlfriend was being railled by his “friend” with whom they had gone to Naivasha together with.
Jalang’o and Kamene Goro actually went in for the latter story and while the discussion is an interesting one, the chemistry wasn’t all the way there.
But that shouldn’t affect them but for two areas: to motivate them and to drive them to work harder. What do I mean? It’s simple really.
Knowing that they aren’t exactly a natural fit, Kamene Goro and Jalang’o should use this as motivation to prove everyone wrong. Yep, they should tuck their chins in and keep swinging to get that sweet chemistry connecting. If that means they go drinking and get to know each other, so be it.
They should also use this as motivation for them to work hard. They need to keep it going and they should grind out some semblance of chemistry. They need to work hard at researching their topics and they need to be more fun.
