Nigerian singer and songwriter Joseph Akinfenwa-Donus, better known as Joeboy, has released a new track and it’s getting a lot of love from his fans.

The track dubbed Call is the first single off his forthcoming debut album and it has been ruling the airwaves since it was released a few days ago.
Call is basically a love song. The 22-year-old singer talks about his affection for a certain lady and goes on to say that he can’t get her off his mind.
This track is well-arranged. If you are a fan of Afrobeat, like myself, then I am sure you’ll love it because it sounds so pleasant to the ears.
The lyrics also flow and I can’t get enough of Nigerian pidgin however much I hear it. It just has some different vibe to it that I can’t get enough of.
Joeboy is without a doubt a very talented singer. Apart from the fact that he has a melodic voice, he also knows how to express himself in his songs so much so that you would mistake it for a live performance.
As I mentioned earlier, the beat on this track is impeccable. Other than the fact that it’s very catchy, it also blends so well with Joeboy’s vocal.
The other thing that struck me about Call is the video and I know you’ll agree with me after watching it. You can see the singer racing to rescue a damsel in distress as the storm rages and I think it’s really captivating.
