John Kiriamiti’s bestseller ‘My Life In Crime’ has been made into a series which will be released soon. Kiriamiti’s daughter has however slammed the upcoming series.
‘My Life In Crime’ series has been hit by controversy even before it premiers. Production company AfreDev announced that the new TV series is set to air locally from June 2018.
Why does it say his name is John Kiriamiti?
John Kiriamiti’s daughter Annrita Kiriamiti has openly criticized the upcoming series. She reveals that series producer excluded her father in the production.
Annrita says her dad was disappointed upon finding out that the movie was using the name ‘John Kiriamiti’ instead of ‘Jack Zollo’.
For starters, ‘My Life In Crime’ is a fictionalized account of Kiriamiti’s criminality in Kenya. The novel details Kiriamiti’s crimes under the alias ‘Jack Zollo’ that led to his imprisonment.
Annirita say her dad used ‘Jack Zollo’ when publishing to maintain anonymity as the book came out when he was still in prison. She further states that nobody back then knew him by that name.
