Humphrey Mayanja, the brother of Jose Chameleone, passed away.

Humphrey Mayanja, the elder brother of Jose Chameleone, Pallaso, and Weasel, has passed away after a brave battle with cancer.

Humphrey had been fighting cancer for some time, starting last year while he was living in the USA. As his condition worsened, he was brought back to Uganda, where he received the loving care of his family and friends in his final days.

The news of Humphrey Mayanja’s passing has led to an outpouring of condolences from fans.

In a social media post from last year (2023), Humphrey shared his journey, recalling the moment he realized something was wrong.

“Not a pleasant picture. While at Schiphol airport, I kept falling asleep and waking up to intermittent fevers. I didn’t feel well, and I have never felt like that before. The flight was delayed, but after 10 hours of layover, I was finally on the flight to Logan airport. I got home safe (or so I thought). I got some rest, but when I woke up, I realized that my stomach was inflating itself every 5 minutes,” he wrote.

He continued, “This was so painful that I could not walk or eat anything. ‘My Best friend’ decided to drive me to the ER, I got diagnosed, and a decision was made that I be retained for further analysis. They immediately inserted a Nasogastric tube (very irritating process) inside me. Believe me or not, it was a tough experience. Anyway, it all ended in surgery.”

May he rest in peace.

Daniella Atim, the wife of Ugandan musician Jose Chameleone, recently opened up about her life as a single mother, revealing that she left Uganda five years ago to start anew in the United States with her five children.

In a candid post, Atim expressed gratitude for the transformative power of her faith in Jesus, highlighting how His grace, love, and mercy have been instrumental in changing her life. She currently resides in a Minnesota suburb, where she enjoys being social and surrounded by people.

Turning 40, Atim bravely shared her past experiences with domestic violence, disclosing that she sought asylum in the US to escape the abuse she endured for 16 years. Despite the challenges she has faced, she remains resilient in her role as a single mother, dedicated to raising her children on her own.

“I am choosing to relive my early life while healing my nervous system. I am a beautiful work in progress,” she affirmed, displaying optimism for her future and commitment to personal growth.

In the past, Atim has spoken about her husband’s struggles with excessive alcohol consumption, which strained their marriage. Chameleone’s father also addressed the issue during the musician’s graduation in August 2023, urging him to quit alcohol to avoid further health complications.

She composed;

“Dear Daniella, when love visits you again I hope it doesn’t expect you to suffer, that it doesn’t try to deceive you into thinking you have to go through trials and tribulations to be found worthy. I hope it doesn’t come in form of a litmus paper, putting you through ridiculous tests. I hope you give it a warm welcome, letting go of all the pain and the hurt from the past, in order to make room for it. I hope you put your best foot forward and make it feel just as safe and secure. I hope you too never take it’s gift for granted. I hope you are now mature enough to know life begins at 39. Нарру birthday.”

Jose Chameleone’s Father Warns Him Against Alcohol Addiction

Mzee Mayanja, the father of Ugandan musician Chameleone, has warned his son to stop drinking alcohol after he was recently hospitalized in the US for a severe complication caused by his drinking.

Mzee Mayanja said that the doctors in the US told Chameleone that he needs to stop drinking if he wants to live. He also said that Chameleone has had too many close calls with death in the past and that he needs to change his lifestyle if he wants to see his grandchildren grow up.

Chameleone listened quietly as his father gave him a stern talking-to. He has not yet publicly commented on his father’s remarks.

Chameleone is a popular musician in Uganda and Africa. He has been in the music industry for over 20 years and has released several hit songs. He is also a successful businessman.

In July 2023, Chameleone was hospitalized in Minnesota in the US after his gallbladder broke and leaked bile in his guts. He underwent emergency surgery and was discharged from the hospital a few days later.

Mzee Mayanja’s warning to Chameleone is a reminder of the dangers of alcohol abuse. Alcohol can have serious health consequences, including liver damage, heart disease, and cancer. It can also lead to accidents, violence, and addiction.

If you or someone you know is struggling with alcohol abuse, please seek help. There are many resources available to help people overcome their addiction and live healthy lives.

Jose Chameleone thanks fans for support after recovering from illness

In an emotional video, Ugandan musician Jose Chameleone has thanked his fans for their support as he recovers from an alleged stomach illness.

The “Valu Valu” hitmaker teared up in the video, which has since gone viral, saying that he is grateful for the prayers and well wishes he has received from fans around the world.

“I don’t know if I should talk about my illness,” Chameleone said. “But those people who wish me well know I have the attitude of a victor. I have the attitude of somebody who wants to use my time. I want to pay the price of a 44-year-old.”

Chameleone also said that he forgives those who have said bad things about him during his illness.

“I want to thank you all for your support,” he said. “I will continue to do my best. I remember a time in 2008 when I was involved in an accident and broke my leg, but I still performed in a wheelchair. I am a fighter, and I will not give up.”

Chameleone was discharged from the hospital in Minneapolis a day after the video was filmed. He then traveled to Toronto, Canada, to perform.

The singer’s illness has been the subject of much speculation, with some reports claiming that he was suffering from cancer. However, Chameleone has not confirmed the nature of his illness.

Despite his illness, Chameleone has shown his usual resilience and determination. He is a true inspiration to his fans, and his story is a reminder that anything is possible if you set your mind to it.

Jose Chameleone hospitalised in USA

Following a stomach infection, Jose Chameleone, a famed musician from Uganda, was admitted to a hospital in the US.

According to the singer’s father to Bukedde TV, the iconic artist, 44, has been experiencing gastrointestinal issues:

“Chameleone has been sick in the past months. When he moved to America, the illness became worse. He is now so sick, he is on his sickbed. He has been having complications in his stomach that he is currently receiving treatment for.”

Gravitty Omutujji, a Ugandan musician, has urged other Ugandan celebrities to unite and pray for the singer.

“As a country, we need to pray for Chameleone, his friends, and everybody, wherever you are, pray for Chameleone because he is terribly ill. At the time I gave him a call, he was heading into the OR room for an operation.”

was said to be severely ill and in the ICU in 2021. His mother Prossy Mayanja was caring for him in the hospital bed in the pictures that went viral.

The ‘Valu Valu’ hitmaker was genuinely ill at the time, and his personal assistant later told some Ugandan media that he was being treated at Nakasero Hospital.

He had H-pylori, a type of bacteria that affects the stomach, at the time, according to his wife Daniella Atim. It may harm the tissue in the stomach and the small intestine’s initial section.

“I’m proud of myself because I’ve mastered the art to stay calm during the storm” – Daniella

She expressed her annoyance in another tweet at social media users who were sharing her husband’s hospital photo.

“But why are we all sharing that so unpleasant photo of our personal person? Do you guys realise he has children far from him whose emotional wellbeing you and me should protect? So I’m busy collected explaining to my child that Pylori is a bacterial infection that should clear with consistent treatment and you are all sharing a damn picture. Don’t we all have a happy picture of our favourite human?”

The Mayanja brothers

“Forever and Ever”.

First public kiss

Although the Mayanja brothers (that is Jose Chameleone, Weasel and Pallaso) have always been tight – fans still find it hard to understand why they find it necessary to kiss on the lips.

In November 2016 the same brother lovker lips again during a local concert in Kampala, leaving their fans speechless and some excited by the stunt. And in 2022 – Weasel once again stole kisses from his brothers and from the look of it / he sure did love it!

Anyway….just asking…when was the last time your family showed you some love? Ama ni life?

9 years of sweet adorable photo shoots, lots of money and 4 kids but she still walked away. What do women want?

Jose Chameleone’s marriage to his hot wife Daniella is officially over and this is after she filed for divorce at the Nakawa Court, asking the magistrate to dissolve her marriage with the singer, on grounds of brutality.

According to her lawyers, Okurut and Co. Advocates Chameleone allegedly batters her, and the kids, as well as hurling life-threatening insults at her and that’s why she wanted the marriage annulled.

On receiving the case, the Grade one magistrate at Nakawa Margaret Aanyu ordered Jose Chameleone to respond within 15 days so we shall be keeping you posted on the event from that side.

Earlier reports from Uganda had cited that Daniella had run away from home a couple of weeks back and it took the intervention of Judith Heard, a socialite in Uganda who also happens to be her friend to convince her to go back to Chaemeleone’s house.

At the time it was alleged she was sick and tired of Chameleone’s cheating ways.
