Celebrities Join Hands To Admonish President Uhuru Kenyatta To Unlock The Country

It’s clear that most people have suffered during the COVID-19 pandemic. Some have lost their jobs, others have been forced to close their businesses. The virus has killed over 2,000 Kenyans and still counting. However, most netizens are tired of the lockdown and want the economy opened up.

Most celebrities have taken to social media to urge the president to open the country up. Khaligraph Jones, KRG the Don, Betty Kyallo, Dj Lyta, Mejja and many more wrote on their pages.

Khaligraph Jones wrote;

”Tell The President to Unlock The goddamn Country and Remove the Curfew, People are really suffering, This is unacceptable. #RESPECTTHEOGS

Emotional KRG the Don wrote;

”According to what I understand when someone doesn’t have enough time to finish something it’s when he/she will want to rush and even forget to take some necessary measures…. in this case I feel putting curfew makes people rush hence finding citizens congested in crowded places to get basic services so that they can beat the time…

Corruption is increasing the more they are extending these curfews coz all the roadblocks and barriers are just for collecting money…

Most people in this country live and depend on what they make per day (hand to mouth)
Closing down everything is not the solution it’s creating another burden that Kenyans can’t afford to carry…”

Well, there’s some truth in Krg’s words. And if the government is locking down the country, it should provide a solution to citizens.
