Otile, Khaligraph Jones finally explain why their new song was deleted on YouTube

Both Khaligraph Jones and singer Otile Brown have released statements regarding their new song “Japo Kidogo” which has been removed from YouTube.

Jones on social media posted that he has no clue why the video was deleted and asked fans to question Otile brown if they needed answers.

“This video Has been pulled down from YouTube and I don’t know why, only @otilebrown has the answers, just when I had successfully launched my Singing career, Itabidi sasa SUPERMAN imekuja.. #respecttheogs #mrinternational,” wrote Papa Jones.

Answers

On social media, Otile Brown explained that the video has been pulled down because of management issues but avoided giving clear reasons why.

“To my loyal fans who have always supported me, I know there’s a lot of speculation going on as to why my newly released project titled “Japo Kidogo” featuring Khaligraph Jones was pulled down from Youtube. The video was pulled down from youtube just 2 days after it’s release due to management issues that am not in Liberty to discuss unfortunately, even if I wanted to. This is what I would like to say though, there’s a lot of hard work, a lot of resources/money and a lot of time that goes into such a project thus my management and I would not just pull down a video just like that. We respect artistry and the craft but at the end of the day it’s still business and we have to respect that. All I promise is we are still going to give you our fans what you deserve which is good music. #BadMan . #WegotnothingbutLove! bless y’all” explained Otile Brown.

Rapper Khaligraph Jones has grown from a mere Kayole rapper into a hip hop force not only in Kenya but in Africa.

The rapper in turn has been able to make a lot of money through his talent and he is one of the best paid artists in the Kenyan industry now.

Jones has also upped his performance game and usually makes sure his fans enjoy his performances and feel their money’s worth whenever they attend his shows.

One of the ways the rapper has been able to achieve this is through dishing out cash in his shows. According to Khaligraph, he once gave out 50K while on stage. It’s the most he has ever given out while performing.

“We are the OGs and we live up to the name. By that I mean we have to cater for the people so we pour out money you know, remember the show I came in a casket, we had like KSh 50,000.” he told Betty Kyalo.

 

 

How Tanzanian singer Harmonize is showing support for Kenyan artists after Play Kenyan music outrage

Despite the argument and trend being against him, Tanzanian singer Harmonize is still supporting Kenyan artists.

Kenyans artists have been complaining about their music not being played locally throughout the week, calling out presenters and other media personalities for favoring Bongo and Nigerian artists.

The argument has spread across the continent as other countries have also given their take on why artists should stop the blame games or what they need to do.

Singer Harmonize recently showed nothing but support for this trend. He recently took to social media to show his love for DNA’s Banjuka, one of the greatest hits from Kenya.

“Because we believe in Love and Support each other and not Hating each other…. God Bless East African Music industry, God Bless African Music Industry,” he wrote on Instagram dancing to the video.

Khaligraph Jones: I can’t date a slay queen, these are the basic qualities i’d look for in a woman

Khaligraph Jones is currently preparing to release his new album but before that, he needed to tackle a few pending issues. After news emerged that the OG has now moved on from the Cashy drama and gotten another woman, the rapper has come out to address the type of woman he wants to be with.

No Slay Queens

Jones, speaking to Adelle Onyango and Shaffie on Kiss FM, shared that slay queens are a NO for him. He then went ahead to share the characteristics of the type of woman he prefers which include discipline and obedience. Probably a few qualities Cashy lacked.

Here’s what he said:

“There are those basic qualities that you’d look for in a woman. For me as the OG, discipline, I’m not about to date a slay queen, so you have to know your limits and just have to be obedient coz I’m out here and I’m talking out of experience. You have to listen to me, I’ve been in the industry I know how these bloggers out here be acting up. So if I tell you not to do this or do that, you better listen to me,” he said.

He also shared that he won’t put his personal life in the public again after what happened to him and Cashy.

“At this point of the knowledge that I have as far as music goes, I ain’t talking about that. I learned my lesson. Going forward you will never know nothing aside from the music that I release, that is as far as it goes,” he explained.

Adding:

“It’s just life. I’m outchea like the OG that I am and I felt like I needed to put that question out there coz with my age, a lot of people tend to think that I’m older and when I tell them I’m about to turn 28, they are like hakuna. They think I’m like 32 or 33. So constantly they be asking me Jones where are your kids at. Personally, I felt like I needed to put that question out there and get people’s opinions and that’s what I did.”

Maybe she was just tired of waiting for his debut album which has taken too long. Maybe, Khaligraph cheated. Perhaps their work schedule got them apart. Or maybe the new catch just has game. Or she was just confused.

Either way, one thing is clear: Cashy and Khaligraph Jones are no more and Kenyans don’t really know what happened. At least not yet.

Cashy is back in the headlines yet again after sharing photos of her growing baby bump just days after Jones announced they are officially done.

Kenyans have been very eager to see the face behind the man who stole Khaligraph’s gem. Although it hasn’t been confirmed yet, a photo has been doing rounds on social media purporting that a certain guy might be the reason the two ended their relationship.

Rapper Khaligraph Jones has come a long way to becoming the bright star Kenyans are currently seeing now but it has not been easy. The road to success had a lot of valley and peaks some which broke him while others made him stronger.

One person who can testify to all this is fellow rapper and longtime girlfriend Cashy who has been by his side since his early days as an upcoming Mcee. It’s seem the two might be however facing a rocky climb as word has suggested they are nearing a break up.

In a radio interview with Clouds FM recently while in Tanzania, Jones was asked whether the two are still together and gave a rather vague answer which hinted they might be facing some problems.

“Nikiondaka bila kuuliza hili Swali sitakuwa nimewatendea haki mafans wako, na wanataka kujua kuhusu wewe na Cashy ambaye ni Mpenzi wako.” Asked B Dozen of Clouds FM in the live interview.

Khaligraph then replied:

“You are calling the shots..Vitu zinafanyika tu , lakini wasijali vitu zitakuwa  tu sawa” responded Khaligraph Jones.

The Cashy and Jones have been together for almost five years and released “Micasa Sucasa” when became one of Khali’s most viewed videos in his career.

It is not easy to find Khaligraph Jones rolling with people he did not grow up with – this is because they would not understand the struggles he went through to get where he is now.

He however rolls with his ride or die blood brother by the name of Prophase Blak who grew up with him back in the day. Though many don’t know the fella, we have all seen him in one popular throw back photo shared by Khaligraph Jones on his social media pages.
