Naiboi is back with ‘Sondeka’ 2 featuring All Stars

Naiboi is back with Sondeka part 2 featuring All Stars. Those featured in this jam are ExRay, Kristoff, Fena, Benzema, Femi One, Mordecai, V6 and Khaligraph Jones. Sondeka part 2 is introduced by Dj Shitti a comedian and an actor. It is a great collabo where all those mentioned have performed a stanza.

Also, Sondeka part 2 is a continuation of Sondeka part 1. In this jam Naiboi is talking about correcting certain behavior in human beings.

Sondeka Part 2 is all about what?

To start with, you’ll notice that these artists are also talking about MCSK. This is in line with the recent payments they made to the musicians and angered them.

They say that they are correcting that. It says that tabia ya kukali wasanii na MCSK tunasondeka.  Also, they talk of how people are jealousy when they see one with a big car.

Naiboi is very talented and the way he also performs his lines is just good.

To add on they go ahead to talk about how people should stop lying. Khaligraph Jones talks of how one is telling them she is in Dubai and in real sense she is in a matatu ya Mwangi.. This is crazy. Also he goes ahead to add on how MCSK sent him Ksh 2530.

Naiboi is back with 'Sondeka' 2 featuring All Stars

Whatever the thing they want to correct seems to have  affected them so much. I like how Khaligraph says that someone talks of Uhuru being their relative whereas the only person who knows then is Dj Shitti.

Niaboi is very creative in this Sondeka jam. The fact that he has brought a couple of artists on board shows team work. Sondeka has been produced by Rixx. The video is super good and quality.

Naiboi is back with 'Sondeka' 2 featuring All Stars

It is a combination of great voices and this has come up with something good. Actually the song will leave you laughing at some point. Naiboi needs to be congratulated on this one.

In conclusion, Sondeka part 2 by Naiboi is a cool jam and you should listen to it. It gets a rating of 7/10.

This is the sick hip hop track from Abbas, Khaligraph and Wakadinali that Kenyans should be playing this week

Rappers Wakadinali, Abbas Kubaff and Khaligraph Jones have united for a new song dubbed “High Noon”.

The song has been produced by Ares 66 and unites the three rappers who you can say are the best in Kenya. Wakadinali is the new underground hip hop group that’s currently controlling underground Kenyan hip hop.

Hip-hop greats

Khaligraph Jones, as we all know, has been topping the mainstream rap scene with his hard-hitting bangers while veteran rapper Abbas Kubaff, who returned to Kenya for a minute, has been the hip hop king in Kenya for a long time now.

“High noon” is a track speaking about the street lifestyle and of course getting high on that good weed.

Listen to it below:

“Tutakuja Kuwavuruga huko mbaya sana!” Khaligraph Jones among other artistes lash out at MCSK for paying them peanuts

After Khaligraph Jones decided to tell off MCSK for sending him Ksh 2,530 as payment for his music; it now seems that other artistes have also come out to protest against them!

https://www.instagram.com/p/B1HW2WYhjTO/?igshid=yo28n7dryi6l

This is because it appears that the Music Copyright Society of Kenya Ltd has been ripping them off and benefiting from the artistes hard work; yet they don’t bother to reward the musicians what they truly deserve.

Petty Royalties

According to King Kaka, MCSK might have received about Ksh 37Million that is if you multiply the Ksh 2500 by the number of artistes (15000) registered under MCSK.

He went on to add that all they do is buy new cars and feed themselves with other people’s money….but this is about to come to an end.

Fena Gitu also couldn’t hold back from calling out the MCSK for paying her peanuts as royalties to her music she posted saying;

Magix Enga brings ‘Bami’ with Khaligraph Jones

Magix Enga together wwith Khaligraph Jones brings you Bami. This song is just a great with two big names. The OG is really doing great. Magix Enga known for his good production skills merges with Papa Jones after their last jam Shida last year.

It is not often that we get to see a collaboration between a producer and a musician. Khaligraph Jones and Magix Enga have proved something new.

Much is knownon what Khaligraph can do music wise but very little on Magix Enga as a musician.

Magix Enga on Bami

Bami is a very good jam ad the only way to weigh strengths of the duo is to get the message of this jam. The collab is Magix Enga’s first official single and music video under his new record label, Magix Empire.

The talented producer is behind the audio production of Bami while the video is shot and directed by Deska Torres. Khaligraph has rapped in Luo in this jam making the comment section on youtube lit.

Message in ‘Bami’

Ayiech Malich, Mkono Nika Za Bolo Yeung Kwala combi ya Nikki na Amber Lulu(Iyee) Naeza mchongea miti ka Shaka Zulu Navile anaongea fiti inakaa anaotea quickie Apo ukingojea Missy inakuwanga nduru(haha). Even though I am not conversant with Dholuo, I can atleast say he is comparing the girl with Mbolo Yeung and Amber Lulu. Quite funny!!
Khaligraph Jones on Bami

Also in this line he describes the woman like one in need of a person to invest in her. Vile umejibeba, inakaa unataka investor Vile unapendeza, chupa ka Vydia Dester Miniskirt ya leather, kibenje Gucci texture Sifa kwa Ebenezer juu ya vile unatutesa(Omollo). Seems like this girl is very expensive it is all a designer deal.

Lastly, the chorus will capture your attention. It goes like this; Oooh beiby gyal Stand up and whine your waist With your big bami whine your waist (Oooh yeah). I tend to think that Bami means Booty.

In conclusion, Magix Enga and Khaligraph Jones get a rating of 7/10 on Bami.

Here is why Kenyan music cannot sell internationally

When we talk of music, we forget to state that this is art. It is something that people need to keep being entertained. I am sure we are all lovers of music which genre it is. Today the industry is filled with a lot of artists both old age and new age artists.

There is something that we fail to  note with our artistes be it from whichever age. I remember someone debate about playing Kenyan music. You’ll argue with me on this but we have to state facts. No one will force me to listen to content that I do not like. You realize that most radio hosts said give them something that is of content and they will play it.

By now we should realize that only a few of our artists have made it internationally and onto the East Africa Market. It is funny that some of the local artists work is only played on their local stations which is also a hustle.

Reasons Kenyan music will not sell

Most of these artists have a shallow mind. What do I mean? When composing their work they only see their surrounding. They fail to realize that the local community is probably 10% of their audience. The only look at something that pleases the few but deep inside they went to sell. Come on one needs to think wide and far.

Secondly, there is no content. Yes there is no content. I know you’ll throw stones on this. Like how do you expect the likes of Lamba lolo, Pekejeng, Wamlambez, Figa to sell internationally? It is a good that they want to fit in a certain environment but what about the long-term goal?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ilnOAwKuZLQ

Even if the likes of Ethic, Sailors, Zzero Sufuri are selling now, the question is for how long will they survive the industry?

This is crap, these boys need to think and re-evaluate their music. It will play for sometime and then boom, it is already forgotten. We do not need this, we need something that anybody from whichever part of the world can listen to.

Also, laziness is something that is eating up our artists. They want things to come easy for them. To sell you need to invest your time and resources. I must say that most of Kenyan artists work is of low quality. How do we expect this to compete at the international level?

There some artists who have been able to climb the international ladder like Khaligraph Jones, King Kaka, Nyashinski, Nameless to mention but a few. These are people from America, no they have made it their business to do great things and market their work.

king kaka one of Kenyas artists who is doing well internationally

For now I’ll stop there. But again, lets embrace music that is making sense and something that can go out there. There are words that can also be won by Kenyans. Go for good producers and directors to come out with something better.

It only requires a willing heart, dedication and the urge to entertain a larger group of people.

“If you have a problem with me hit the unfollow button!” Khaligraph Jones tells off critics

Rapper Khaligraph Jones is not willing to entertain anyone telling him how to live his life.

Khaligraph stated this through his Instagram story just recently and I am assuming his followers were not shocked since the rapper has lately been savagely clapping back at most negative comments left on his page.

This time around he however made a video where the rapper is heard telling off critics on his gram.

https://www.instagram.com/p/BzbFcvihmaI/?igshid=101ybjpsh4zdc

According to Khaligraph, no one can tell him how to live his life or how to carry him; therefore these haters should leave him alone or unfollow him if the pressure is too much to handle.

Too proud to handle correction?

A few weeks ago, the rapper was advised by several mothers on his page to avoid shaking his newborn so much as she was still fragile to handle this.

Others went on to add that it was not good for the baby’s brain; however Khaligraph Jones could here none of that.

He went on to bash the mothers telling him how to handle his baby and as of now; the rapper has made it clear that if he makes anyone uncomfortable with what he posts, then they can unfollow!

Khaligraph Jones says ‘Leave Me Alone’ in his new jam

Khaligraph Jones is back with a new jam dubbed Leave Me Alone. The self proclaimed OG has been rocking the Kenyan Hiphop industry for quit sometime now.

He really doesn’t care in what people think about him. He has taken a notch higher in what he does and he has even gone international.

Leave Me Alone seems to be addressing people who try to bring him down. If you can’t keep up with the… Jones leave me alone. Nyi manyoka na washuku. He does not hesitate to say what is in his mind.

He talks about people spreading rumors in this jam. I can’t stop laughing when he says si ndio huenda ruracio kuotea soda na chapo. I can only imagine how true this statement can be.

Video Production

Khaligraph got standards. Leave Me Alone has been shot in Dallas TX and Houston (USA). Leave me Alone video is just great. Also, the graphics are standard. You what? Khaligraph sets standards for Kenyan artists.

The visuals and the sound have been treated with justice. I mean look at the introduction shots, they have great effects. In addition, the beats are just in line with the lyrics. Leave Me Alone has been presented by Blu Ink Corp. In addition, the audio is the work of Aress 66 at Blu Ink studios.

Leave Me Alone Lyrics

The lyrics are so simple to understand. They have been delivered in a way that one can easily understand. When he says; Leave me alone, achana na me, leave me alone wachana na mimi. Usinipigie simu don’t call my phone. You get the vibe he is trying to bring out.

In conclusion, I’d like to say that this guy really knows his market. In less than 24hrs the video had already hit 77K views on youtube. Khaligraph is doing well and this jam for me is great. Although there is a lot of bile. Leave Me Alone gets a rating of 7/10.

Rapper Joefes to replace Octopizzo and Khaligraph as the new king of bars?

For a while now rap music in Kenyan entertainment industry has been showing great potential thanks to the likes of Octopizzo, Khaligraph Jones among other many.

Joefes

However not many rappers have been able to hold their spot in the rap game; and for this reason new artists keep joining this game to portray their potential.

Kilometers

One Joefes who has been putting in extra efforts in his music career is currently showing signs of taking over hiphop thanks to his creative bars and style.

So far he has released a number of songs but his latest song dubbed Kilometers has left many dumbfound by controversial bars that will leave you rewinding the song over and over.

Despite his young age, there is no doubt that he will soon be the talk of town and the song below can form this.

Khaligraph Jones finally drops video of his banger “Gwala” with Nigerian rapper Ycee

Rapper Khaligraph Jones continues putting Kenyan music on the map. Jones has now collaborated with Nigerian rapper Ycee for his new song “Gwala”.

The song was in his album “Testimony 1990” released last year. The video was shot in Lagos Nigeria by director TG Omori while the song was produced by Motiff under Blu ink record record label, which is Khaligraph’s label.

Debate

During his recent Nigerian trip, Khali poked many presenters and DJs in the eye after claiming he was planning to take a few of them to Nigeria because they like playing their songs.

The sarcastic comments turned into a huge debate on why Kenyan artists are not getting airplay back at home.

It took 1200 songs for Kenyans to love me – Khaligraph Jones

Rapper Khaligraph Jones was recently named among the best rappers in 2018 in Africa by a South African magazine. The rapper dominated the whole 2018 and also was on a high wave through out 2018.

But before this happened, he had to work hard and put everything a side so that he can become what he is today. Speaking in a radio interview with Jeff Koinange and Professor Hamo, the rapper said he recorded over 1200 songs before Kenyans finally accepted him.

He was in studio day in day out making songs until the radio couldn’t ignore him anymore. Khali said that nothing comes overnight and it takes a lot of commitment, persistence and passion to finally get to the level he is at today.

Takes time

“Most people think I just blew up after releasing Yego. I chucked over 1200 songs by the time I was blowing up. I was in the studio everyday recording music so it is not an overnight thing. It is a gradual process,” Khali said.

His statements come at a time when Kenyan artists are complaining over lack of airplay on radio stations and have been pressuring presenters and DJs to change their playlist.

Blogger X-tian Dela forced to swallow humble pill and go into hiding after sarcastic comments on Kenyan artists

Blogger X-tian Dela wanted to prove a point that Kenyan music is trash but in the end, paid dearly for his remarks.

The blogger took to social media to share a rather low budget video of upcoming artists during the heated Play Kenyan music debate.

The video, called Matokoo, was a sarcastic post meant to show that Kenyan artists are not getting airplay because of their music. Some artists however, didn’t like the post.

Khaligraph Jones took the post personally, called out the presenter for being petty when guys are trying to come up with better ways how the entertainment industry can be built.

“Oneni uyu sasa? @xtiandela this is ignorance of The highest order, instead of coming up with ideas of how we can work together, you are now trying to be petty and sarcastic, out of all the great music Kenya has to offer, you choose this to try drive a stupid point home?, gathee chunga sana na tuwache mazoeano, I believe you are a smart guy, give advice on how to become better artists other than Making a fool out of them, #respecttheogs #mrinternational.” he posted.

Retreat

After Khali’s post, fans descended on Dela trolling him for the post a thing that forced him to put his account on private.

“After Facing the Wrath @xtiandela account imebidi imeingizwa Private very quick gathee ikaingia Mitini, vile mbogi imeenda kumpasha, na iwe funzo kwa wale wengine wanaosema ati Haiwezekani Ama Kenya hamna mziki mzuri #respecttheogs #mrinternational,” posted Khaligraph.

Despite the argument and trend being against him, Tanzanian singer Harmonize is still supporting Kenyan artists.

Kenyans artists have been complaining about their music not being played locally throughout the week, calling out presenters and other media personalities for favoring Bongo and Nigerian artists.

The argument has spread across the continent as other countries have also given their take on why artists should stop the blame games or what they need to do.

Testimony! Khaligraph Jones buys second Range Rover with album money?(photo)

Khaligraph Jones has been hitting the headlines hard lately after he released his debut album “Testimony 1990”. The album has performed so well leaving many artists eager to also drop theirs that had been shelved for long.

Well, it seems the millions Jones has been making lately have been already spent after the rapper, who also has several endorsements, shared that he has acquired a brand new Range Rover 2011 which goes for about Ksh 6 million.

Jone’s first Range Rover

This might be Khaligraph’s second Range Rover after he flaunted his first several times on social media something that made him and comedian Eric Omondi, who has a Mercedes Benz E-class, attack each other. Omondi claimed Khaligraph won’t be able to fuel the car.

Khaligraph redeems himself with hot beauty after Cashy left him and got pregnant with another man

We all thought ni mazisha for OG, Khaligraph Jones, after his lover Cashy ditched him and went for an unknown man.

Jones has been avoiding dealing with the drama and has been just sharing that the two parted ways without saying how exactly.

Forget Cashy

Cashy is almost 8 months pregnant now and even recently had a baby shower that dominated headlines.

Khaligraph Jones, it seems, has now moved on from the drama and even recently shared a photo with a hot lady that we are not yet sure if is the new OG’s catch. But from the look of things, the two looked cozy enough to be called more than just friends.

Here’s the photo:

Is this the young man Cashy ditched fierce rapper Khaligraph Jones for? (Photos)

Maybe she was just tired of waiting for his debut album which has taken too long. Maybe, Khaligraph cheated. Perhaps their work schedule got them apart. Or maybe the new catch just has game. Or she was just confused.

Either way, one thing is clear: Cashy and Khaligraph Jones are no more and Kenyans don’t really know what happened. At least not yet.

Is he the father?

Khaligraph and Cashy

Cashy is back in the headlines yet again after sharing photos of her growing baby bump just days after Jones announced they are officially done.

Kenyans have been very eager to see the face behind the man who stole Khaligraph’s gem. Although it hasn’t been confirmed yet, a photo has been doing rounds on social media purporting that a certain guy might be the reason the two ended their relationship.

He might also be the father of the baby though it has not yet been confirmed. Here’s the photo that has been doing rounds:

Is he the dad?

Did rapper Cashy cheat on Khaligraph and got pregnant? Khaligraph speaks why they had to part ways

While Kenyans rooted for both Khaligraph Jones and his girlfriend Cashy, it seems life had it’s own turns and dips.

Khaligraph has finally opened up on his relationship with fellow rapper Cashy saying that the two are no longer together. Speaking in an interview, the “Mazishi” rapper seemed bitter when talking about her saying that they are done and people should stop asking their relationship.

And there’s more. Word has it that Cashy is pregnant but it’s not clear by who. Khaligraph chose not to speak about it in the interview, bluntly ignoring the question.

Khaligraph and Cashy

“Me and Cashy are separated, we are not together. We haven’t been together for the past couple of months. We are not together right now and hivyo ndivyo vitu ziko. I need to move on with my life, watu waache kuniuliza ako wapi,” he said.

No more women for me

For the past few weeks Jones has been holding back on what to say about their struggling relationship, telling fans while at an interview in Tanzania that they were trying to patch things up. It seems they couldn’t reconcile and now Khaligraph is regretting.

“Biggest mistake one can ever do is bringing your girl into the limelight,” he said.

“Not just now, I don’t want to involve myself with women. Whether am single or not should not worry you, I just want to lay on the low key. As far as the baby goes, that one I am not going to talk about that.”

Khaligraph Jones hints that his relationship to rapper Cashy might be facing problems

Rapper Khaligraph Jones has come a long way to becoming the bright star Kenyans are currently seeing now but it has not been easy. The road to success had a lot of valley and peaks some which broke him while others made him stronger.

One person who can testify to all this is fellow rapper and longtime girlfriend Cashy who has been by his side since his early days as an upcoming Mcee. It’s seem the two might be however facing a rocky climb as word has suggested they are nearing a break up.

Larry with Khaligraph and his lady Cashy

We will be just fine

In a radio interview with Clouds FM recently while in Tanzania, Jones was asked whether the two are still together and gave a rather vague answer which hinted they might be facing some problems.

“Nikiondaka bila kuuliza hili Swali sitakuwa nimewatendea haki mafans wako, na wanataka kujua kuhusu wewe na Cashy ambaye ni Mpenzi wako.” Asked B Dozen of Clouds FM in the live interview.

Khaligraph then replied:

“You are calling the shots..Vitu zinafanyika tu , lakini wasijali vitu zitakuwa  tu sawa” responded Khaligraph Jones.

The Cashy and Jones have been together for almost five years and released “Micasa Sucasa” when became one of Khali’s most viewed videos in his career.

Meet Khaligraph Jones look-alike brother

It is not easy to find Khaligraph Jones rolling with people he did not grow up with – this is because they would not understand the struggles he went through to get where he is now.

He however rolls with his ride or die blood brother by the name of Prophase Blak who grew up with him back in the day. Though many don’t know the fella, we have all seen him in one popular throw back photo shared by Khaligraph Jones on his social media pages.

Khaligraph Jones and his brother back in the day

From the photo I managed to get from the fellas social media pages it is easy to see that he is related to Khaligraph Jones as they share striking resemblance especially with their facial features.

Below are a few photos of Khaligraph’s brother.
