He urges people to turn to God as he’s the only one who can offer a solution to the disease which is causing problems and threatening to wipe out humanity.

In the song, Lava Lava urges people to take Coronavirus seriously and adhere to the rules that have been put in place by the government to protect them. They include; thorough washing of hands and social distancing.

Further he says, it really pains him that Sallam SK, who is one of the mangers at Wasafi Records, has contracted the virus and hopes that he will be okay when all is said and done.

He wonders how artists will fend for themselves now that all their scheduled shows have been cancelled saying that God will guide them through this difficult time.

Lava Lava

Other than the powerful message that it carries, I’m sure after listening to Corona, you’ll agree with me that it’s such a beautiful composition.

If you are a fan of Lava Lava like I am then you know that he has an amazing voice and he puts it into good use in this jam to highlight the seriousness of the disease.

As you listen to him, you can tell that he is pained by what is going on around the world and you get to connect with him on a personal level. The instrumentation of this track is dope because it allows the message to sink in.

Listen to Corona below and tell us what you think.

Lava Lava is back this time with ‘Habibi’

Lava Lava is back with a new jam dubbed Habibi. The artist who is signed under Wasafi is doing wonders. He is on releasing spree and his songs are doing good. In less than 24 hours the audio has over 80k views.

Relevance of ‘Habibi’

In this new single, Lava Lava mentions a few names in relation to Diamond. Nikupeleke kwa bibi Tiffah ama Dangote Uvae shehe la wigi  Utapata kwa Aristote. Habibi sounds more of a love song where the lady is supposed to be endorsed by the family.

In between the song she is warned to keep off from some fellows. These love songs nowadays,Mchunge shetwani  Mama twende pole pole(Aah) Kuna Esma, Khan  Akina Juma Lokole(Aah). In this line Esma, and Mbosso Khan are mentioned. Is it a Wasafi affair?

Also in this stanza;Wasikupande kichwani  Wakazua mambo ya uchochole(Aah) Iwe aibu mtaani  Insta michambo wanichore Achana naki naki Hawana lolote  Watazusha na wajigi jigi  Penzi watie tope. Lava Lava goes ahead to tell the girl Habibi not to listen to them because they will be all over Instagram and end up ruining their love.

To start with the matter of the heart is becoming common with Wasafi artists. Habibi is well done and am sure you are going to love the lyrics. Actually it  is one of that song that you will grasp the lyrics fast.

Production

Also, we cannot forget the producer. It has been produced by Manstermadness of spice records. In addition to the good production work, the lyrics are dope. There is no competition the words are clear. What a talent!

In conclusion, Lava Lava is someone to watch in the Wasafi Label. He is doing a good job. At this point I wish he does a collaboration with Otile Brown and Brown Mauzo.  Last but not least, Habibi gets a rating of 7/10.

Lava Lava features Harmonize in his new jam ‘Saula’

Lava Lava features Harmonize in his new jam Saula. The collabo between Kondeboy and Lava Lava is just dope. Saula brings out the good voices from Tanzania together and you know what it is great. It is all about love song on how a girl is driving him crazy and they will listen to no one.

July seems to be the month of collaborations for this Wasafi musicians. A few days ago Rayvanny did a collabo with Rowlene and Diamond has done a couple too.

Harmonize has also feature in a lot of collabos recently same to Lava Lava. Is there competition somewhere? Honestly this people are overworking.

Message in ‘Saula’

Wenzako jicho chongo, kwa mwingine sioni tena, umenipa magongo nitembee niache kuchechema. Tujiepushe na waongo, hawakosangi chakusema. Ulizenguze juu madongo, penzi tuenzeke na maeni. Penzi la kizugua na kupa na mataratibu. This is all about love and how it will be served. The verse which is done by Harmonize talks about them as lovers parting ways with lies and. Basically it is matters of the heart.

Further into the song, the role of turn taking has been embraced. This just make it easier to flow. I like how the duo is doing and it just clear that wasafi is all about love music. Seems July is their month.

Also, repetition has been used. It has given emphasis to the songs title Saula. In addition to that, there is rhyme in it giving it a better feel.

Production

Last but not least, this song Saula, has been treated with out most respect. The video and audio production are just so great. It has a feel that meets the international eye. Although it is a bongo song, there is more that captures the eye. Lizer is known for his good work in audio production.

The background and choice of costume is also good.  It is clear that we should get more from the duo.

In conclusion, this song Saula is open to all. It gets a rating of 6/10.
