Why We Are Excited About Juliani-Lillian Relationship

Juliani and Lillian Ng’anga seem to have confirmed that they are an item and we couldnae be more excited about the entire turn of events. First for me personally, because it gives credence to what Edgar Obare had pointed out and secondly because it speaks to schadenfreude.

And that is the very thing I think this whole affair has highlighted to me about who we are as a society: we love to see the underdog win. And make no mistake about it, in every sense of the word, Juliani is the underdog here as he is poetically up against a full, sitting governor in the form of Alfred Mutua.

And the object of their affection, Lillian Ng’ang’a is a thing of beauty but she is not some hapless child with no agency. She is actually surprisingly independent and self-driven. And we saw that in her personality the day she decided to walk away from her enormously wealthy former hubby. She matches to beat of her own drum.

You see, in Juliani and Lillian Ng’ang’a we see a former ghetto boy who increased his station in life and is now managing to pull women who otherwise would never have looked in his direction. He has elevated who he is to the point these women look beyond his background and see him for the man he is.

We can live vicariously through him. But make no mistake about it, it is also sweet that he seems to have taken away a powerful, wealthy man’s woman. This is what excites the men. For women I would imagine it is similar to the brute vs gentleman fantasy.

And, apparently, it has caused enough of an issue that Mike Sonko spoke about the matter and said that this is a normal part of life. Yup, Mike Sonko, in his usual crass way said that in life, you take a few men’s women and you lose your women to better men.

What is however giving me pause for thought is the fact that Juliani is now receiving death threats. Things should never get to that point. Whomever it is who is threatening the rapper needs to stop because no woman is worth deleting a fellow man over nor is any woman worth risking serving a jail term in Kenyan prisons.

Then again, what do I know? Simps are gonna simp and this entire situation is something that has left the stench of simps in the air. I just hope that Juliani and Lillian Ng’ang’a do not fizzle out because we need some excitement and their relationship delivers on exactly this.

Alfred Mutua Is Not Over Lillian Ng’ang’a

I think we can all agree that Machakos County Governor Alfred Mutua is not over his ex-wife (common law marriage), Lillian Ng’ang’a and his recent interview with Jalang’o showed as much. While talking to the Kiss 100 personality, he had this to say:

“We have agreed with Lillian that we do not address these issues. *Blah blah blah* And it is very important in relationships that you respect each other, when you’re together, when you’re not together. And to also leave room for reconciliation. Blah blah blah.”

That one statement says it all and we can call it a day and end the opinion piece here. Or perhaps what we should do is go into looking at why Alfred Mutua is so smitten despite all the rumours swirling around about his insatiable appetite for bedroom gymnastics and how he would pursue that gratification at the expense of his marriage.

You see, Lillian Ng’ang’a has done something that often breaks men such as Bwana Governor; she rejected him. And this has, in his mind at least, only inflated her mystique.

Think about it, a man with as many options as Alfred Mutua has, a man whose rejection was met by a rush of women sending messages to his social media direct messages that are of a sexually-explicit nature is not accustomed to rejection.

And the one woman he thought was his has shown him that indeed, it was just his turn. And Lillian Ng’ang’a oh so obviously initiated the breakup. So he is left pining for her and trying to win her over and failing. That would drive anyone crazy.

Alfred Mutua is no exception. And then to see that she has already moved on barely 2 months after their relationship came to a head is just the stuff of TV soap operas. Mind you they have been a couple for more than a decade. Yet it only took her 2 months to replace him -if the gossip linking her to Juliani is to be believed.

I just hope he does not simp any further than making her the guest of honour at his birthday party or even try to make her his inspiration or continue calling her “honey”. That is the only way he will allow himself to heal from his separation from Lillian Ng’ang’a.

Akothee is right about Alfred Mutua and Lillian Ng’ang’a

Akothee is the only celebrity who so far has come out to say something intelligent about the fact that Alfred Mutua and his now ex-wife have gone their separate ways.

Most other celebs are simply sharing their admiration and appreciation for the conscious rapper and that really does nothing to really support the man who is rumoured to be with the Machakos Governor’s ex-wife.

And while alot of people are simply enamoured by the scandal, Akothee came and cut right through the ~~bullshit~~.

Rather than feed the gossip monster, she simply came and explained why they should be left to their own designs and why societal pressure kills alot of married people who are too scared to leave their already broken and sometimes abusive marriages.

Taking to her social media she made the following comment:

And she is entirely right. We need to stop shaming people who decide to walk away from a marriage for the sake of their health whether mental or otherwise.

If anything, Akothee is spitting facts about how we as a society contribute to the suffering of our own members and we need to pay her words some heed. We really do need to pay them alot of attention.
