Mama Baha reflects on her role as a mom on TV show Machachari

Being a new mum has now left actress Patricia Mburu popularly known as mama Baha reflecting back on the days she played the role of a mum to Baha and Govi.

To her it was a blessing especially after years of trying for a baby and failing. In a way, the universe gave her two young boys who played the role of her sons – something like a miracle and at the same time – an opportunity to parade her acting skills.

Looking back at this she related with the boys on the show – it’s obvious to see that motherhood is something Patricia Mburu was born for. She not only knew how to handle the kids but was passionate towards them like her own little cubs – always stirring them away from trouble.

Explains drive behind her role

Well this was only possible because of her love for character. Unlike many actresses who embark on acting careers looking for fame and money – Mama Baha says she did it for the love of acting.

The new mum revealed this in a caption used on her old photos with her two boys saying;

Former Machachari actor 21 year old Govi reveals why he has no girlfriend

Unlike his TV brother Baha who continues to parade his fine girlfriend on social media; it appears that actor Govi will not be joining the bandwagon anytime soon.

The young man revealed this recently while replying to a fan who offered to link up Govi’s girlfriend with looku moto trendy outfits; but from the response he got – the trendy plug might just have to wait longer.

Govi’s response however confirmed that he has no woman at the moment due to his tight schedule; and unlike his peers who are drowning in love – the 21 year old prefers to maintain a low profile in order to grow himself before approaching somebody’s daughter. He wrote;

Sina dem. I’m only 21 to have life go down the drain because of mapenzi. I have other important things to do know. I just had to write his on a light note becuae I know many people will read this. Finally respect to those who are enjoying mapenzi. We all have different paths.

Baha and girlfriend drowning in love

Machachari’s star Baha on the other hand cannot keep his relationship off social media; and from how he behaves – let’s just say that the honeymoon phase is not yet over.

Together with his girlfriend, the couple continues to entertain us with their love posts; and for sure – we will continue to keep up just to see how far they will go.

“They used us then dumped us!” Ex-Machachari stars expose cartels allegedly controlling the Kenyan film industry

The sad story of popular Kenyan kids show Machachari that ended after an 11-year stint remains a painful one to tell as ugly scenes behind the curtains continue to unfold.

Just early September 2020, one of its top cast members, Malik better known as Govi, publicly opened up in a moving letter addressed to Kenyans on what actually transpired that suddenly ended the greatly admired TV show.

Govis new address

Today, he resurfaces to tell a story of what is actually going on on the Kenyan screens that always seem to give the public the very same cast members year in, year out.

Malik Lemmy aka Govi

In an open online address, Malik hinted that certain cartels are running the Kenyan screens and that is why individuals like him and his brothers might never get back on TV.

“…because the so-called ‘elites’ fear competition of phasing out,” he reveals.

Further noting that it is interesting how Kenyans always get to see the very same faces on the screens while there are so many good actors and actresses out here, but they will never get a chance in the entertainment space.

Not even mentors or schools, Govi added.

Ex-Machachari star, Malik

Questioning the audacity to ask these very same talents who have been denied a chance at the top to support Kenyan films, I mean something did not add up for him.

“For how long will film cartels strive in Kenya? Give people a chance to audition because it is their right. Don’t do it behind closed doors because the industry will never grow,” Malik stated.

Ex-Machachari star in support

His fellow former Machachari star, Bryan Kabugi, came out to spill more in a long touching post penning;

“We were exposed at a very young age with no proper management or structure to protect us as minors. They kept telling us how our future was bright, NOW WHICH FUTURE? After making money with us, then they dumped some of us.  IT’S A MAN EAT MAN society and only YOU can save yourself,” Kabugi bitterly expressed.

But after Maliks post went viral, he vowed to keep off the social space.

“We were the sacrificial lambs of peanut salaries,” Machachari star blames Kenyans for the show’s drastic fall

After a clean 13-year stint on our screens, the once popular Machachari show was no longer going to air but what netizens don’t know is, they were never told the whole story.

In a blunt revelation made barely hours ago by one of the co-stars, it is obvious that the kids got drifted apart eventually, despite the memories they made on set. A time none of them saw coming, but one that happened either way.

“Sometimes I ask myself was growing up a sin?” Malik aka ‘Govi’ posed.

Before penning a remorseful letter that showed how much Kenyans and the media failed these child stars. The very same audience that had been pushing them forward, was nowhere to be seen at their lowest moments.

You all loved us when we were at the top, when we were winning awards and entertaining you all, on your screens. Most of you were eager to see us doing interviews and going for shows. BUT when all that stopped you started hating on these child stars..

Machachari’s fallen stars

Kids who grew into fame knowing that they had a strong support system but soon as age clocked in, they realized they had been sailing in a boat captained by selfish individuals who only wanted to serve their own interests.

The backlash

Children who got criticized, hated, abused and that became the order of the day. Not bearing in mind that not all of them came from well-to-do families and that is why they eventually fell apart.

The only questions you guys have is “mbona mliwacha kututengenezea content?” We all come from different environments, I might be financially stable but that doesn’t mean that all of us are stable.

Machachari’s Govi and Baha

“What happened to the support system?” is the question he poses to Kenyans.

“We were the sacrificial lambs of peanut salaries,” he says.

What netizens failed to understand is that despite them being filmstars, they are still children, who need to make mistakes, learn from them and craft their own paths in life.

All I’m asking from you guys is give us time to grow, to make our mistakes. Shower us with your love and blessings. We are your children. Don’t ask us why we haven’t been to Hollywood yet we get no support from you guys.

Malik Lemuel aka Govi

And instead of the massive backlash, it would only be fair if Kenyans reached out to them to know their well-being instead of always judging and pointing fingers.

Trust you me when I tell you some guys among us have reached their lowest points in life and all they need is your love and support. I wont tag them coz you know them.
BLESSINGS!!!!

Machachari TV show canceled

Citizen TV has canceled its popular program Machachari after 13 years on air.

The station’s Production Manager Stanley Ngige said that the show aired the last episode after pressure mounted over the age of its characters who have now grown old and are doing different things.

“The story came to an end. This Friday is the grand finale.”

“It didn’t evolve to remain relevant to the target audience, and the best we could do is develop the story to come to an end so that we can start a new show  (‘Johari’) for the same target audience,” Ngige said.

Changes

Citizen has made several changes, and most of the shows, the likes of ‘Inspekta Mwala’ and ‘Papa Shirandula’ that used to air from 7.30pm every day will now air from 6.30pm.

“The shows that were programmed for that time before didn’t have viewership. But when we changed with good shows, they attracted the kind of viewership that they have enjoyed on that corridor. So we believe as long as the content is good, it will still attract viewership no matter the time,” Ngige said.

Kamau Mbaya, a popular actor who many know as Baha from his role in Citizen TV program Machachari, is no longer the kid we used to see on TV.

Baha has now grown into a man and recently celebrated his 18th birthday which saw the Machachari crew shower him despite the pounding rains that has been causing havoc lately. He was also given a cake after the forced called shower.

Here are the photos:

Teenage love hurts the most! Machachari actor Govi hurt by love

Malik Lemmy better known as Govi has fallen for a girl who is yet to love him back. The teenage star penned his emotions on a post on social media.

Govi is hurt because the person he loves is yet to reciprocate. The Machachari actor reveals that he has undying crush on a mystery girl.

“Why do crush’s hurt a lot ila mapenzi mie sikomi,” wrote Govi in part.

Fears

Govi asserts that she loves his crush with all the strength of a raging fire. He is however afraid that the girl might take too long to give him a chance to be her man.

“Ive never really loved someone as much as i love her…sikomi ata nikiumia. But what if in the end, she gives me a chance after losing interest?”

“Almasi is dead” Former Machachari actor tells off fans

Ian Nene who is popularly known as Almasi from Machachari has come to tell fans that the young innocent boy they knew from the show is dead and should stop comparing him with the TV character.

This comes shortly after fans rushed to comment on a video uploaded on his instagram page and from it’s contents not many could believe how different he has now become.

Stunning: Mama Baha from TV show Machachari looking hot in bikini (Photo)

Wanjiku Mburu who is a TV producer and an actress who plays the role of a patient humble mum on TV show Machachari has shared her first photo where she is seen wearing a blue bikini.

This being the first time she is showing off her curves in a bikini, the members of team mafisi following her on Instagram could not help but thirst over her petite body.

Mama Baha aka Wanjiku Mburu

The photo is however a throwback from a few years when she was still a young girl. From the photo, it is clear to see that she has not changed much apart from the weight she has gained over the years – but allow me to say that she still looks hotter than ever.

If you have never seen her in a swimming suit, then checkout the tbt photo below:

Almasi finally addresses rumors claiming he is gay!

It is secret that former Machachari actor Almasi also known as Ian nene has changed from the innocent young boy we all watched grow….thanks to the local TV show.

He changed from an innocent boy to a totally different teenage boy who wears a bullring and one that paints his nails – something that left many questioning his sexual orientation.

Most of his fans were pretty much convinced that he was gay but he chose to ignore this until just recently when a fan left a comment under his photo pleading with him to come out since it was ‘clear’ to see that his behavior was not that of a straight man. The fan wrote;

“@ian_nene I love gays. I’ve never had anything against gays. I even know a gay guy vhen I see one and trust me I noticed you one during the machachari days. Just hoping you’re not in the ‘closet’ or In denial. Always be yourself and never let anyone look down on you or judge you for anything. NEVER!, We’re all human everyone has their wrongs so no one should ever tell you nothing.”

Surprisingly, Ian actually responded with a statement that brushed off the rumors claiming he was now ‘playing’ for the same team. He wrote,

“you’re just wrong girl. You noticed wrong girl. My apologies. Truth is you don’t know a gay guy when you see one. And I am not gay LOL. You are the people we need to change. tHIS MINDSET OF THINKING YOU KNOW SOMEONE JUST BY LOOKING AT THEM IS MESSED UP.”

But question still remains, why is he dressing like a woman? Anyway controversy always sells, right?

Uproar as the son of Machachari actress is pushed out of a speeding Rongai matatu

Rongai matatus are notorious for committing traffic offenses that most times risk the lives of commuters. A son of Machachari actress was a victim of Rongai matatu madness.

Machachari actress Grace Wangui Mburu is crying foul after her 18 year old son was pushed out of a moving matatu. Grace, who is the twin sister of Wanjiku Mburu(Mama Baha), says that Florida matatu plying Rongai route threw her son out while moving and sped off.

Grace stated that her son sustained injury on his hand after he was thrown off the speeding matatu. Apparently the teen was pushed out after demanding to be dropped off at the right stage.

“Dear FLORIDA rongai matatu driver and tout. I have chosen to forgive you for the cruel act upon my son yesterday morning around 9:00 am, where the tout angrily pushed him out of the moving mat, thus falling and injuring his hand and body from the impact of the fall; after he insisted that he be dropped at his rightful stage (sironik road) which you didn’t take heed and the driver sped off instead after the deed, amidst public outcry. #Godsincontrol #keenlywatchingthough” Grace Wangui wrote on social media.

All grown up! Baha looking fine and handsome in new photos

It was just the other day we saw Baha as a young boy but the years seem to have passed by so fast that  he now looks like a fine young man doing wonders with his acting career.

So far Baha is among the best actors under the age of 20 years. He has been featured in a couple of movies and now Kamau Mbaya or Baha as he popularly known is an actor on Kenya number one children comedy Machachari that is aired on Citizen TV.

Young Baha

Being in school has not slowed his career down as he continues to wow many through the Machachari show. Anyway, I recently bumped into a few of his photos and from what I have seen the fella has matured into a fine young man and the ladies in his age bracket cannot get enough of him.

Baha is now all grown up has grown up into a handsome young man and there is no doubt that adolescent is favoring him. Well, if thought you are not aging then let these of him remind you of how time is moving fast.
