The late Bruce Odhiambo was a personal friend to president Uhuru Kenyatta and his family. This explains why First Lady Margaret Kenyatta attended Bruce’s requiem mass.

The former Youth Enterprise and Development Fund (YEDF) board Chairman died on 4th January at the Nairobi Hospital after a battle with heart condition.

On Thursday family, friends and well-wishers gathered at the Nairobi Baptist Church in Nairobi for a memorial service for the fallen music producer.

Beyond Zero campaign

First Lady Margaret Kenyatta was among those who paid tribute to Bruce, she eulogized the deceased as a trailblazer with an unmatched zeal to support local talent and artistes.

Margaret recounted how Bruce greatly contributed to her Beyond Zero campaign. She said that no words could adequately describe Bruce’s role in the building of the Beyond Zero brand to its current status.

The fallen music producer will be buried on Saturday January 19th, the burial will be held at Bruce’s rural home in Koru, Kisumu county.

First Lady Margaret Kenyatta is expected to grace EY Entrepreneur of the Year Awards gala set to be hosted at Raddison Blu Hotel in Nairobi.

The Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Awards or EY Entrepreneur of the Year Awards is an award sponsored by Ernst & Young in recognition of entrepreneurship. [sic]

The First Lady is expected to rub shoulders with Dr Catherine Nyongesa among other entrepreneurs who are to be feted at the award gala.

Dr Catherine Nyongesa, the founder and CEO of the Texas Cancer Centre, opened the facility in Mbagathi to offer radiotherapy, chemotherapy and palliative care after noticing the gap in the treatment and care for cancer patients.

Texas Cancer Centre has hosted celebrities such as Rick Ross, Omarion, Diamond Platnumz, Peter Okoye formerly of P Square, Nameless, Navy Kenzo , Kidum, Lady Jaydee among others in a bid spread awareness on cancer while raising funds to help the needy cases access treatment.

Texas Cancer Centre founder has been nominated for the prestigious award alongside Simu Kabu CEO and founder of Bonfire Adventures, Lizzie Wanyoike – founder NIBS College and Ken Njoroge – CEO Cellulant Group.

The award gala is going down today December 5th at Raddison Blu Hotel in Nairobi.

President Uhuru Kenyatta reveals that his late father Mzee Jomo Kenyatta was the force behind him starting a relationship with his wife Margaret Kenyatta.

Uhuru opened up about what his father did as he commemorated International Women’s Day (IWD). The president spent the day at State House with his wife who was launching Beyond Zero Strategic Framework 2018-2022 which coincided with IWD.

Uhuru says he first met Margaret when he was swimming with his father. The head of state reveals that Jomo prodded him to befriend his future wife.

“I first met Margaret when I was out swimming with my father and he nudged me to befriend her. I have now known her for most of my life. She is my friend, partner and strong supporter. President Uhuru Kenyatta takes First lady Margaret Kenyatta for a ride on a motorbike

President Uhuru Kenyatta treated his wife to a motorbike ride on Sunday December 17th. The two lovebirds rode on a superbike within State House compound.

Last Sunday president Uhuru and the First Lady hosted a Christmas party for children at State House. The day-long party saw hundreds of children mingle with the First Couple.

The kids were drawn from various children homes, police officers and State House staff. The kids were treated to live music, motorsports, bouncing castles, virtual reality and other fun games.

First Lady Margaret Kenyatta slays in jeans trouser and casual rubber shoes (Photos)

Margaret Kenyatta is always wearing African attire or fancy ladies’ dresses, but this time round she rocked casual clothes and she still impressed with her look.

President Uhuru Kenyatta and his wife got lost in the wild while the country’s attention is still fixed at Supreme Court continued where the fate of Kenya will be determined in the next few days.

The head of state shared photos of the First Lady and him enjoying the serenity of the Kenya’s wildlife at a location thought to be Tsavo.

“Sharing some moments with our magnificent national heritage as we await the conclusion of the judicial process. Keep the peace,” Uhuru captioned the photos

The president and his wife were watching elephants mud bath at a pond. The First Lady’s casual dressing caught the eyes of many people, she rocked a safari hat, jeans coat, tight jeans trouser and rubber shoes.
