Local bar where the late Mowzey was attacked by a bouncer finally shut down!

While the culprits who attacked the late Mowzey leaving him with fatal head injuries remain in custody; the Ugandan government has ordered the local bar where the fight went down to be shut down.

In a notice served to the owner for Da bar, the Entebbe Municipal Council demands operations to be shut down immediately. This is after popular singer Mowzey from Radio and Weasal duo passed on yesterday following head injuries.

Da Bar closed down

In the letter addressed to Da Bar’s owner; there will be no operations from now onwards and if they fail to follow then they will be fined Ush 1million.

The late singer had been hospitalized for about 10 days. And just when he was getting better, the singer passed on due to serious head injuries.

It is indeed sad to have lost Mowzey Radio, a great talent to be remembered in the East African entertainment industry.

Reports indicate that he passed on yesterday morning at 6am after battling for his life in hospital for 10 days.

The talented singer from Radio and Weasel duo was not just popular in East Africa but Africa as a whole. Fellow celebrities like Diamond Platnumz, WIzkid and Davido sent out their condolences to his family yesterday through their Instagram page.

Thousands show up to view Radio’s body

Fans on the other hand made their way to the Radio and Weasel Neverland home; where they camped all night to view Radio’s body. Judging from the photos shared online, it is clear to see that the fallen star was a loved man in his country.

He will be laid to rest on Saturday 3rd February as revealed by his family.

Mowzey from Radio and Weasal passes on

Radio and Weasal artist Mowzey is dead. According to reports the singer passed on early this morning at 6am after battling for his life in the intensive care unit.

His death comes a few hours after president Museveni contributed Ush 30 million (Ksh 1 M) for his treatment. This is after he was beaten into a coma a week ago by a bouncer at a club in Entebbe.

Police arrest 5 suspects

His management however revealed that the police had arrested 5 people who were helping catch the culprit.

The ‘Nakudata’ hit maker however woke up from the coma a few hours ago; only to finally take his last breathe at the hospital.

Friends and family send their condolences

The music industry has indeed suffered a great loss; and those who knew him have been sending messages of condolences to the family.

Through his Instagram page Diamond Platnumz described him as a legend as he wrote saying;
