Mzee Abdul Naseeb aka Diamond Platnumz is said to have abandoned his family back in the day; leaving Sandra and her son Naseeb aka Simba rotting in poverty!
As far as the story goes, Mzee Abdul never looked back and did not want to get involved with his family until just recently when Diamond became famous.
It is no secret that the two do not have as close relationship; but as far we know is that Diamond Platnumz still recognizes his old man despite the pain he put them through.
Abdul’s advise to deadbeat dads
Speaking to SNS during a recent interview, Diamond’s urged parents to be careful of what they say in-front of their kids; adding that children end up believing everything they are told.
According to him, his son got to listen to his mum’s side of the story; which of course did not favor him.
When parents separate, make sure your kids are not on one side, that they are being fed information about you by the other party. So when these kids grow up and even become stars, things will be said about you, when you want to go back to them.

Although many believe that he did not play a role in his son’s life while growing up; Mzee Abdul dismissed this by sharing his truth. According to him, people assume that he is back because of his son’s wealth which is not true. He went on to say;
People will think that you didn’t help the child and that now you want to go back to them because they have made it.
When asked why he does not fight for the truth, Mzee Abdul concluded his interview by adding;
But what do people want me to do?Diamond was very close with his mother when growing up. His mother is already married to another man. But the small help he gives, j appreciate. He will get more wealth and he will also remember me. Things like cars are not important to me right now. Let him first take care of his mother.
