It´s totally a no. I knew that people would take it like that because I have been asked that question a million times but no. As secular artistes, sometimes we even pray a lot.
Drawing the line between secular music and belief in God, she stated:
We do secular music because it´s business, it´s passion. Music is very universal, you´re singing about love even in the Bible there´s love so I feel like people confuse it. So for me, ¨Maombi¨ is just a thanksgiving song to God for what he´s done in my life and to inspire someone else to give thanks.

A song she attributes to the events in her personal life, something she considered worth the thanksgiving and praise to God.
This is very personal to me. I did this song at a time I was really broke, for many months. That same day that I wrote this song, I got called to be on Coke Studio. So it´s a song that is very personal to me just thanking God for what I have been through and not focusing on the negative.
