Nameless explains how he has managed to be relevant for so long

Nameless has been in the music for over 20 years now and has always been an important topic.

The singer recently revealed how he has managed to stay relevant for so many years now since starting saying that he tries as much as possible to keep things simple.

“When you are creating music, you can use different tactics to reach the people to get an instant intense reaction. Other times you use tactics that can provoke a reaction that will withstand the test of time and capture people’s attention,” he said.

Takes time

Kenyan singer Jegede is back with a new tune dubbed Wakilisha. Jegede in the musical film "Wakilisha" featuring The Allstars: Nameless, Jerry Ogalo, Big Pin, Daddy Andre, Stivo Simple Boy, Fundi Frank and Vdj Jones. Directed by Deska Torres.

He went on to add that he takes his time before he writes which leaves people wondering why.

I always keep it simple, such that in 10 years, one can relate to the song or lyrics. Sometimes I stay for long before I write a song and people may wonder why,” he said.

“It is because I listen to it on different occasions and ask myself if I achieved the intended intention. My aim is always longevity. I do not release songs too soon so often because staki watu wazoee sana.”

I am the carrier. I am not sure I want it – Wahu responds after Nameless’ request for a baby boy

Ahem. Two things.

Number one: Before you go out sending congratulatory messages to singer Wahu that she’s pregnant, look carefully first because she’s not.

“First of all, I want people to understand that I have added some weight and they should stop saying I am pregnant,” she said.

Number two.

It’s true Nameless said he wanted a baby boy. He shared it in a past interview saying: “Siwezi mind a boy now that I have two girls, but we are still under discussions.”

Pressure

That however, doesn’t give you a go ahead to pester her with questions of when she’s getting pregnant.

She already has two kids –girls– and if another one comes, well and good.

“It will be nice to be pregnant but I am not. It will be a nice blessing however not sure if I want that blessing. Everyone is telling me they want a baby but you know, I am the carrier and therefore I have to wait and see because I am not sure if I want it,” she added.

The rest will be settled behind closed doors and we might be informed later.

Willy Paul aone hii! Wahu’s new gospel song will touch your soul

Singer Wahu continues to forge forward in the gospel industry. The former secular singer who switched to gospel after getting saved has dropped a new song dubbed “Nifanane nawe”.

The song has been produced by Saint P while the video was done by J Blessing. It’s her third gospel song since she turned over a new leaf.

“This is a song that talks of the awesome goodness of God our father. He is our healer our deliverer our savior. I’m grateful that salvation isn’t dependent on human power or might, but on the mercy and love of Jesus Christ.” she said of the song.

Born again

Wahu was among several others artists including Marya, Cannibal, Amani, Size 8 among others who switched to gospel music.

“Christ calls us to strive to be more like him. To live a life that is pleasing to Him. A life where we show goodness, kindness, compassion to each other. And my! What a wonderful world that would be! It is my desire to be more like Him. I pray that this becomes your desire too, if it isn’t yet,” she said.

Baby number 3 is still under discussion- Nameless and Wahu

After celebrating 13 years of marriage, which is like 33 years of normal marriage, celebrities Nameless and Wahu might be thinking of adding another child. May be a boy.

In a recent interview, the two revealed that they are discussing whether they’ll add another kid since they all already have Tumiso and Nyakio.

“Siwezi mind a boy now that I have two girls, but we are still under discussions,” he said.

“Sometimes, pictures are taken and fans wanaona vitu zao and start suspecting she may be pregnant. Those pictures you see could be that she ‘ate’ a lot that day so her stomach was big. I am with her everyday but I have not realised, but I don’t mind another kid.”

Confirmation

He went on to say that he’s not sure whether his wife Wahu is pregnant.

“I don’t really know but I will talk to her and ask to confirm by myself. Being in the public, you know that you are the target for scandals. So we are careful with everything we do, especially because we have a family to protect. So we try balance and put family matters away from the media.”he said.

Wahu Kagwi and Rufftone land lucrative government jobs

Singer Rufftone and Wahu have been named among those who will spearhead a new government initiative set to champion Technical and Vocational Training agenda among the youth.

The two will be tasked with reaching out to youth, helping them express themselves and revamp institutions which have a bad face. The deal was announced by Cabinet Secretary Amina Mohamed.

Opportunity

Amina launched the initiative which will see government reduce unemployment in the country.

“There have been gaps in the preparation of graduates in terms of career expectations, skills needed, attitude and readiness for work. The tertiary institutions, through the Office of Career Services, are expected to play a central role in addressing these issues,” she said.

The CS said her ministry hoped to set up one national polytechnic in every county, and a technical and vocational centre in every constituency in the next five years.

“I came to Nairobi and settled in Umoja estate and their was a jobless corner, it literally was a jobless corner because my friends used to meet and hang out here because they had no jobs or any training, this is a good opportunity to train youths and they will be better placed to get jobs or create on,” Rufftone said.

“If I was clearing my secondary education right now then I would definitely go for such an opportunity because I have always been a champion of skill training, my skill is what puts food on my table,” Wahu said.

Wahu: Shame on the police for acting like guys are using rape to avoid exams

Singer Wahu is not happy with what happened at Moi Girls where a girl was raped. She’s way more angrier with police however, who she says have been treating the issue lightly and using it as a scapegoat.

On Instagram, the singer attacked the police claiming that they are not putting in the required seriousness.

“I am appalled by the comments made by Michael Muchiri of kilimani Police station as per this article in the Daily Nation. The dismissive tone in which he addresses the issue of the minor’s RAPE , with the insinuation of this somehow being linked to evading exams is such an insult to women!!!” she said.

Big issue

After the girl was raped on Saturday, the school was closed as police started the investigation. Wahu claims that the police are thinking the students are just taking them for ride.

“How can rape and sexual assault be accorded the seriousness it deserves from the police, If this is the attitude of such a high ranking officer?? As a woman, a mother of girls and a citizen of this great nation of Kenya I say that this statement is insensitive, unfortunate, degrading and a BIG BIG SHAME!”

Songbird Wahu Kagwia and her hubby Nameless this past weekend 10th September marked their 12th wedding anniversary through their social media pages where they wrote beautiful messages to show how blessed they feel to have each other.

Wahu and Nameless

Nameless and Wahu got married in a white wedding back in 2005 joining the list of celebrity couples from then. They have however been blessed with two lovely girls, Tumiso and Nyakio who have definitely brought joy to the couple.

Nameless and Wahu with their girls

These two remain as the perfect example of celebrity marriages since they have never been involved in any scandals and if I am not wrong, a testimony that celebrities can also stick to one partner.

Nameless through his gram shared the photo below where he wrote saying;
