Senseless police killings and shooting in Kisumu has dominated headlines in the past few days. But that’s not all that happened in the streets of the lakeside city during Nasa demonstrations.

There were all sort of drama in Kisumu during anti-IEBC demos. Protestors stripped naked, some wore bra while others armed themselves with teargas canisters like the police.

The man who stripped naked did it with an ill motive. Apparently he believes going bare would curse IEBC officials causing Kenyans sleepless nights.

The belief that government is using police to kill Luo people saw protestors rename places associated with the government.

Jomo Kenyatta sports ground and Jubilee market in Kisumu CBD were renamed Jaramogi Grounds and Orengo market respectively.

Protestors also ran off with IEBC signpost during the demo.
